I havent been out to see a movie in a theater for a very long time, so it was nice to get out with my family. I have never been to this theater before but it doesnt seem much different than any other Ive been to in the past. I will say the employees are very nice, but of course like all theaters the snacks are over priced, but I splurged and bought a couple things. However I did notice later after getting home and looking at the receipt that they over charged me for my nachos. Anyway the movie was pretty good I guess, we saw The Secret Life of Pets. Before the movie started there were a lot of trailers, I like trailers but after awhile I was getting irritated and wondering when they would stop. I had someone in back of me and well you know how that goes with the ocassional bumping of the back of the chair. But the thing that bothered me the most was how loud they had the audio...I mean it was SUPER LOUD, I had to put tissue in my ears and cover them with my hands most of the movie. Pretty sure this is an issue in most theaters today with the audio levels being too loud....In my opinion its a form of hearing abuse. Plus I have sensitive hearing and other ear issues so that made it even worse. But even my 17 yr old son said it was uncomfortable for him too. If I go to the movies in the future I will wear ear plugs or something or just dont go I guess. Hopefully something will be done about this at some point. Hate to think so many ppl are getting their hearing damaged. Sorry I know this is a long review but I had to voice how I felt about it.

So before I go farther I just want you to know that Im willing to change my rating if the situation is fixed and never happens again. Ive come to this Theater hundreds of times, for the most part Ive never been upset with the service. Today I tried to use the August combo 15% off offer on the app but it wouldnt ring out. The managers came and tried it but told me that the offer is no longer any good. It clearly says on the offer that its good through August 31 but I was told by the manager that theres nothing they can do because its expires on the 31st. I try to point out to her that this means its good through the 31st otherwise it would expire on the 30th but she refused to listen or go any farther because she thinks that expiring on the 31st means its no good anymore on the 31st... needless to say she wrong but walked away from me rather than hear the truth!

Overall not the best experiences. I DO NOT consider the IMAX a IMAX, the screen is really small by comparison to IMAX that im used to in other areas. The sound quality also doesnt compare to most IMAX. they just turn things up really really really loud. But the quality just isnt their. From a overall theater experience its about what you would expect, not amazing. but not super bad. For seeing your favorite movies in the best quality and best overall experience i would recommend not coming here. This theater for me is for average movies for a date night. I would rather spend the 2 hour drive to go to the theater in San Francisco, for super big premiers like star wars and such, the price per ticket is the same but literally everything is better then this location.

Idk if vacaville offers something similar to reagal rewards cards but that is one reason i like going to edwards instead of driving to vacaville, and taking advantage of movie tuesdays and their regal rewards discounts. The staff is ok, could be more friendly and could go up and check on those kids sneaking in after trailers have started to get them out or quiet down, maybe if edwards had a texting method where patrons could text management the theater # and issue while being anonymous so they could investigate. The audio is too loud during movie, but some tissue in ears helps. Overall, I recommend edwards, especially if u have a regal rewards card

Five stars for the movie, zero stars for Edwards consideration of the comfort of their patrons. Just went to see Interstellar in IMAX. The movie was incredible and definitely worth seeing in IMAX; however, I wasnt sure we would be able to stay and watch it because the previews were unbearably long and loud. Twenty minutes of previews are not acceptable, nor is a sound level that required us to put our fingers in our ears to avoid ear damage. Though I loved the movie and the experience of IMAX was great, we will not be attending an Edwards Theater IMAX in the future.

Recently my family and I went to see World War Z and we were not told that the air conditioning was out in that particular theater. My husband could not stay in the theater because it was too hot, smelly and no air flow. When he tried to get his money back he was treated with disrespect and with no apologies. In the future it would be wise for Edwards Theaters Fairfield 16 to let their patrons know about such conditions when purchasing their tickets and allow the patrons to decide if they wish to endure uncomfortable seating.

I would give it a higher rating, but the prices for food is utterly ridiculous. Luckily I go to the movies A LOT so the rewards card really helps out sine I get points towards free popcorn or a price reduction on popcorn. If you go on a Tuesday, which I pretty much always do, tickets are half off! Otherwise its a nice theater, relatively close, and has good food. I never had a problem with the movies not starting properly like cheaper theaters. The seats need a little TLC, though.

Ive been to a lot of regal theaters, and this one does not meet my expectations!!! I paid almost 20 to see transformers in the Imax 3d it was dirty, the chairs stained, the seats and arm rest broken soda cup would not even fit, the 3d glasses where dirty I had to clean them myself very dissatisfied!! The only good thing was fresh popcorn but at the 8+ for it not worth my money I will not be coming back here again!!!

The theater was ok at best. The audio system was not as good as I expected. The cup holders in the arm rests didnt really hold cups so we had to put our cup on the ground. The snack bar had a great menu but unless you had 20 min to wait you could only have popcorn or nachos. The carpet hadnt been vacuumed in a while, and the popcorn was old and unsalted. For what we paid for the evening I was not impressed.

Good theatre overall, nice stadium seating. Military is 9.50 after 5:30pm. I just thought the IMAX is a little pricey at 17.50. If you want to watch a 3D movie its another 4.00 above the non 3D ticket price. Didnt see any pan-handlers. Its your typically mall attached movie theatre. I signed up for the Regal card where you earn points towards free movies or snacks.

I have watched several movies there late at night. I always feel safe, and have not seen police arresting anyone whenever I go there. Not that I doubt it happens, but for the most part its a nice theater, and I enjoy having the mall there for when I get there early. With the neon lights, it seems more like an event to go there.
