First I want to start of with the positive things about this hotel. It is really beautiful. The staff is very kind, friendly and accommodating. Especially my best buddy bartender in the hotel lobby. Each day I would stop to order some dinner and before I even sat down to order he would have my diet coke poured for me. Always made my day a little better. The not so bad part. The air conditioners in the rooms are really loud and will keep you up at night. You should see my Fitbit sleep log for those nights. I was up most of the time. The really bad... Make sure to not leave anything of value in your room. I worked from the hotel one day and didnt realize the cleaning lady would be at my room before I returned. I left my wallet in the room, which I know better. Someone took $40 in cash from my wallet. I could tell the minute I walked in the room it was moved and called the manager right away. I do truly believe that it was probably not the cleaning lady. I think maybe she left open the door slightly or someone came in while she was cleaning, maybe in between rooms. So I completely understand that the hotel manager would investigate the incident and back up an employee that had been working at the hotel for some time. However, I am a Hilton Elite member. Dear Hilton, check my past history of the amount of times I have stayed at your hotel. Doesnt that warrant some type of validation that this event occurred? No Mr. Manager, I cant call and file a police report for $40. I am in from out of town, how far do you think that would get me. Also, I would have to cancel all my credit cards and now have no cash. How would I eat for the rest of the week or be able to pay the hotel bill? What the police do with a $40 report. What a waste of time that would be for them. What I did do was monitor all my credit cards for suspicious activity. Luckily it was only the cash they took. Dear Mr. Manager, take $40 out of your petty cash and replace the money that was taken from my room. Only your hotel staff and myself have keys. It was your fault. Thank you,

My first impression of the room was that it was clean and modern. The service was wonderful, as I was there for an event, thus having a back to back reservation. They were able to get me a room where we did not have to move for the second reservation. Once we found out that there wasnt a fridge, but my friend needed one, I called guest services and they were able to accommodate us and bring up a mini fridge. In addition, we had 4 people in our room, but only 3 towel sets. This problem was quickly assuaged once the staff brought up extra towels for us. I found the sliding door to the bathroom very odd. In addition, the door itself was opaque, so you could kind of see through the door. Another problem we had was that one of the beds was over what must have been a wire. Once another friend laid herself against the headboard, the light would go out. The hotel was hosting the event that I was attending and were very accommodating to our needs. The nearest restaurants were about 3 blocks away, but they are short blocks. I would highly recommend staying here.

This is by far the worst Hilton hotel ever. I am shocked it bears the Hilton name. Guest Services never answers and when they do and we ask for something like shampoo or maintenance it takes hours for them to show up. My wife went to the Starbucks Coffee in the lobby and they were temporarily closed so she went to the restaurant in the hotel, Trevos and asked for some coffee even willing to pay for it and they were hesitant saying she needs to eat there. The rooms and the hotel is very run down as well. The bathtub plugs by itself when you shower and water fills up. You have to keep unplugging the bathtub while showering. Rooms are old and dingy.... Ive been to many Hiltons and I am shocked at the low quality of this hotel and this is in Pasadena, California not some ghetto. I am extremely disappointed and upset. I feel like I just threw my money away. Never come here, it might be better to sleep at a motel 6.

For a "3 star" hotel it was definitely one of the most ghetto Ive been to. As you walk in the front doors, youre greeted by a beautiful lobby and bar area. everything looks like youre in for a lovely stay, and then you get into your room. $130+ a night gets a room with two twin beds, a TV that doesnt have a guide (but dont worry, you can still pay for over priced movies) and thats about it. If you want to use Wi-Fi and would assume itd be free (like it is literally everywhere else) but no, if you want to get on the Wi-Fi you better be ready to pay. But paying only lets you add 3 devices. The room appeared to at some point have had a mini fridge but that got ripped out judging by the damage to the wood. There was also no microwave. The only positive about the place were the employees were very nice. TL;DR: less amenities than a $40/a night motel and nice people

Tiny room for Hilton, even smaller bathroom. Had to close the door in bathroom if you wanted to do anything in there. Shower was small and grungy. Room was okay, but nothing special, especially for 109 a night. There was also a huge bead convention going on which no one warned us about on the website so it was a nightmare trying to get to the front desk to even check in. Thankfully we didnt have any wheeled suitcases or there would be no way we could have gotten through. Parking is expensive, and they even have the audacity to charge $4 for a bottle of water in the room. I understand things are expensive in Califorina, but I didnt expect this from a Hilton. Not a good experience.

Though the staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant, bar and lobby are nicely updated this is a very old hotel. The rooms consist of feeling wallpaper, popcorn ceilings, and horrible fluorescent bathroom lighting. You can easily hear neighbors above, beside, across and outside of the room. The tub/ shower had a draining problem, so by the end of the shower it looked at though you could almost take a bath (gross). The problem is just that its old. Had the breakfast here every morning of my three night stay. Its very expensive and not worth it unless included in your stay package. Breakfast does include smoked salmon, which was the only item of note for me.

Ill preface this post with the fact that Im a business traveller. I like Hilton properties because the staff tends to be well trained and this location follows suit. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. The event staff for my meeting was on top of my requirements. This Hilton has remodeled their workout room to the Precor fitness. A big reason for my stays at Hilton family properties is the workout room. I want a facility that works and I can use when on the road! Guest rooms are pretty standard and basic. Nothing fancy. The layout makes me think this was built as a different hotel and Hilton purchased and remodelled it at some point.
