This event is amazing. Not sure it has what Monsterpalooza does, but its close and I think it has the potential to become huge. Parking was $12- $18 at the Pasadena Convention Center. Tickets into the show were $35/Saturday, $30/Sunday and $50/Weekend. Weekend Workshops $70/Saturday, $65/Sunday and $110/Weekend. Photos with Elvira $60. Saturday Night Party $35. VIP Monster Pass which includes front of the line, event tshirt, goodie bag, front row seating at stages and access to all classes $250/Saturday, $235/Sunday, $396/Weekend. Whew!!! Now, the actual event... The line to get in was crazy! Just be prepared to wait. They go as fast as they can. Just make sure youre in the right line and you have your ticket voucher printed. Purchasing tickets is outside the event at the box office. Not inside. A few people waited in line only to have to go back outside to get tickets. Check the schedule of events (i.e. mazes, classes, presentations) before purchasing the VIP ticket to make sure its worth it. Saturday is sooo busy, but has more going on. Both from the event side and the people watching side. Dress up! Dress up! Dress up! Its totally encouraged and the skys the limit with the exception of "weapons." Lots of people dressed in badass costumes this year. All of them more than willing to take pictures if asked. So ask. The event took place in 2 seperate buildings. Some people were totally unaware of this although they had signs and things happening outside of both. The main building had the vendors, mazes and Elvira. The 2nd building was mainly for the classes and seminars, but also had autograph signings, mini mazes, reptiles and more. Only thing that wasnt that great was the food. They have concessions in the back with ballpark food. Hot Dogs and stuff. A little pricey. You might not want to leave, but just across the street are several eating places. The best one was El Chola. They had a lunch buffet for $10.95. Enchiladas. Fajitas. Rice. Beans. Horchata. Jamica. The works! Everyone was super nice and very helpful. I went early both days so I wouldnt get tired or miss anything. Be advised. Depending on what you expect, getting the general admission ticket can be totally worth it. However, like everything else, the main thing is making money Im sure. The vendors can seem expensive. Making things by hand is always more expensive. It takes longer and its usually a better quality. Better quality, homemade or not, is also costly. I guess what Im trying to say is dont expect to come home with a bunch of knick knacks and souvenirs without coming out the pocket. Even autographs cost. Joey Fatone was $40 for a signature and $20 for a selfie. Not saying he doesnt deserve it, just a heads up. They all charge something. I had fun. I love all things scary. If you have a specific question just ask! #RobertDeNiroDoesntChargeForAutographs

I when here for a concert and a taping tv show. Located next to the Pasadena convention center and js across the street from the paseo. Dont park at the auditorium is cost $12 the most expensive in the area l. Paseo is $9 and you can find pretty if street parking. The auditorium is nice and is easy to access.

terrible experience. purchased $200 tickets for an event and the seats were taken by others with same tickets. was TOLD by an incompetent/worthless usher to sit 2 rows back, and that theres no difference. very unfortunate since this was my first AND last visit to this place!

We attended a theatrical production at the Pasadena Convention Center complex, and were delighted with access to the facility, the theater itself, and the staff members, who were all extremely helpful. We look forward to attending another production in the future!

Fairly low-key line experience, despite the large number in queue. Easy in and out. I, i.e. a white female, was permitted entry without additional search. Meanwhile, my fiance, who happens to be Ethiopian (read: black), was wanded down before entry.

There is always an event (or two here). Bonus: dont buy tickets for an event online. Go directly to box office, ask for their schedule of upcoming events and but your tickets right there. This will save you lots of money on unnecessary ticket fees.

Came here for a taping of a show and we really enjoyed the show. Auditorium was clean and has great seating where even in the back, the stage was still easily visible. Staff we interacted with was friendly. Parking is underground and runs for $12.

I work there. The staff is great and the conventions are varied and usually good vibes and a lot of fun. The AC works WONDERFULLY, which is a relief coming from another job and my home which dont have any AC.

This is a nice place for a convention or large event. The surrounding areas are nice and you can easily walk to and outdoor shopping mall. Theres plenty of parking below the convention center.

Its a really nice convention center. Parking sucks if you dont want to walk far/pay. You can get some time by getting your ticket validated at a business inn the center across the street.

Lots of cool events here. I have seen them host awards shows, film NCIS, film Americas Got Talent. They also have all sorts of conventions such as tattoos, horror movies, and quilting.

Great place to have a booth. Across the street from plenty of restaurants and potential for lots of foot traffic. It does get hot inside.

The convention center is alright.... But having black cock shoved up my rectum, balls deep, is by far, my favorite activity.
