One star only, food disapointing and worst service ever! After a ride on airboats (which was awesome) we had a lunch there, no taste for all the fried food, may be not well frozen before, water every chunk, but the worst was the unfriendly service, 3 waiters there, 2 young very nice and friendly and the last was a very unfriendly lady, never a smile, no patience, first question we asked for draft beer, Answer: we dont have... (ok no problem, but can you also tell us what do you have to go ahead....) So after a silence our next question: what kind of beer do you have? Answer from the waiter: what kind of beer do you want? And it was so all the lunch, she didnt came for kids refill, bad exeprience and the bad feeling was highly increased by this waiter, when you will come in you will immediatly recognise this unfriendly waiter....

I went here on the recommendation of a staff member at Gatorland. When I arrived the older lady at the desk for the airboat rides was very rude. She got upset with me because I only had a $100 dollar bill. She told us to go sit some where, I dont care where,. They will call you eventually ". I was really shocked at the lack of customer service. While I was sitting at the bar I heard her and the boat captain talking saying" yeah I just had of them on the boat. You know they always complain about something. " when I looked back they were gesturing at a African American gentlemen. This place made me very uncomfortable and I guess the reason they were so rude was my Puerto Rico partner. Research the area first, plenty of other places around that dont discriminate.

My father who is in in early 70s and I went here for an airboat ride. The first thing I noticed was the restroom didnt have adequate soap and nothing to dry your hands with - and they serve food here. When I told one of the workers there were no paper towels he said "youre lucky you got water out of there". When we went into the main part of this place and waited for someone to take our money for the airboat ride the staff just ignored us. The same worker told my father and I that we "probably shouldnt be here", whatever that meant. So we left.

Great place. Town bar feel, good food, great view, cold beer, friendly staff. Reasonably priced. If you expect more, this place is not for you. We had a cheeseburger and the fried sampler-catfish, frog legs, and gator. All were tasty! Sat inside at the bar and talked up the bartenders because it was cold out, but the patio/deck looks like fun. Nice relaxing spot to sit and visit with locals.

Went there Friday night at 6:30. Six of us gathered there because it was in between where we all lived. It was a first for us. It was deserted outside (cold) and only a couple of tables inside. We practically had to bed for service. The food was mediocre at best. I hear the entertainment is fun outside. We might try that some time but not in any hurry to go back.

Their burgers are out of this world! Ive never had a burger melt in my mouth like that before! Life changing experience! All this.for amazing prices, u just cant beat it!

My wife and I have been there a handful of times, and everything is usually fine. But, a few weeks ago we were were there in the bar and band area. I ordered a bottled beer at the bar for $4.25 and gave one of the taller bar tenders (a blonde) a $5 bill. I guess she assumed the extra was her tip since I never got my change. I really dont like when people do that.

The Cabbage is what it is. It is a fish camp that serves food and has airboat rides. It is a country bar out in the swamp. Good people and good food. The airboat rides are well worth the price. Do not expect linen tablecloths and fine wine. Give it a try....if you want to see the backwaters from the river instead of from the highway.

Was looking for some good gator meat...other business rreswecommend it....easy to find...excellent food. Waitress was nice and always made sure we had enough tea. Cool seating outside watching the crocs. Go during dusk...awesome dining experience. Beats sitting inside some fancy restraunt.

My all time favorite place to visit when in FL. Awesome atmosphere and local food favorites! Take an airboat ride and come back to the dock for a cold Bud and some frog legs! Ask for Captain Gill to drive the boat he is the best, super knowledgable about the St. John river.

Friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. Nice rustic southern bayou feel in a great river location. Big patio with bar and great views. I enjoyed the spicy bayou shrimp, gator nuggets and a few cold Yuengling lagers. Definitely will be returning.

Came as a group on a Monday, just to enjoy the wild outdoors.....great scenery...was shocked at the 30% gratuity added to our bill for a group of 7...the "cheeseburger" I got was mediocre.....and the beer was overpriced, so draft fans, no draft beer here :)

Just poor service, nasty bathroom, entertaining interesting staff. All fried menu, gator basket, no honey mustard sauce. Who does that? I guess if you like the town watering hole, good country muSic, wildlife, and a nice breeze, come on down!

This place Is great! The air boat rides are a little expensive but your almost garunteed to see an alligator up close. Weather permitting of coarse. The food is great and the people are friendly.its a must for any family vacation.

Great food and a cool place to hang out. It is mostly fried food, but there is no where else around the area to get some gator or frog legs! Best tasting homemade buffalo sauce around...definitely worth a try!

Good place to experiment... If you love redneck, Florida Cracker food, this is a place to try Alligator, Turtle, Frog legs and more... Good all around experience directly on the St. Johns River.

This is a fun place to go while in town. I tried Alligator for the first time here with my kids. The bathrooms leave something to be desired, but otherwise its a good time.
