This place is massive. Its like a popup Continent of Asia. I dont think Ive ever seen so many Asian people packed into such a tight space in my life outside of the Continent of Asia. Theres live music. There are little carnival games, and theres a ton of food. Its only a few times during the summer apparently. Its so well organized! And then all of a sudden, it vanishes, like Burning Man. The food is good, but I can only take so much of carnival prices. Maybe Im just not foodie enough. Maybe I need to up my game, or maybe I just need to get off of Yelp and quit writing reviews. Youd like that, wouldnt you? Cant handle the rawness of my words? You wanna anonymously type some hate messages like those guys on YouTube calling everyone a J** or a N*****. I thought this was like a Reddit community. I digress. Be prepared for some bomb-@$$ food, and some airport-style-screening-long lines. A lot of the merchants use mobile CC payment, but the density of the cellphones of everyone tweeting, Snapchatting their food and their peace signs will collapse the networks. SO BRING CASH. And/or find the ATMs. My personal favorite? It wasnt the food, and after a while, I was ready to leave. (Long lines, and dense, dense crowds get to me). But in hind sight, I enjoyed knowing that people were enjoying themselves, enjoying their food, being polite, and not anonymously throwing out racial slurs. Im looking at you, YouTube.

I dont even know where to begin. Traffic to Arcadia Santa Anita race track was easy if you live east side of dtla. Parking lot is enormous but still hard to find a spot. This is a super ripped off night market. And remember, BRING CASH! Everything is by cash. You pay $3 for admission (in Taiwan, you dont pay any admission for any night market) and then all the food vendors are having long lines which would take you an hour to get the most popular food, such as stinky tofu. Everything is super expensive considering the quality, quantity, and the cleanliness of the environment. $7-10 is the average of each item that you get here. I think, Im much rather going to Trader Joes to get some organic food and sit home watching movie to spend the time on a Friday night. There are also some vendors selling arts and clothing. Too bad they were by the entrance, not that many people were interested in shopping before dinner time. Lastly, there are few parts that have DJ and music on. Some people were dancing which was fun! Good entertaining event for young crew.

So Im at the 626 Market -which is spectacular. The price point insomuch as entrance is $3 and the parking at the Race Track is free... Because of the fact that they keep the price point extremely low, you have a TON of people with extra cash on hand -ready to spend. I spent my time on a long rant on how I feel that another venue would benefit greatly from this financial model. Austrian economics at its best. Unless prices shift dramatically, like $15 for parking and a $30 entry fee (which I dont anticipate any time soon) -Ill definetely be making the annual pilgrimage to my hometown! PLENTY of food, activities, art, events, and shows. In my opinion, if you can keep an open mind, its WELL worth the visit! I have a buddy who lives in Arcadia and is a true Arcadia native and doesnt like the night market at all. We are polar opposites in this regard but Id encourage everyone to try it, especially if youre a neophelliac (addicted and open to new experiences). If youre neophobic -you might still wanna give it a try : )

First time going here and it was awesome! I got here around 4:30 and it wasnt too crowded yet and there was a lot of parking (which is free!). It cost $3 to enter (cash only). Once you get in, youll first see lots of vendors selling merchandise such as t-shirts, phone cases, jewelry, etc. The food is past that. There was a ton of food to choose from. I got halo halo, takoyaki, poke taco (highly recommend!), and some free samples. Some places take cash only so plan accordingly. Theres also a lot of booths that have carnival games and companies giving out free prizes. I highly recommend going to this night market. It does start getting really really crowded around 6 or 7. There was still lots of parking though.

First off, bring cash lots of it. Second, if you love stinky tofu youll be very happy. Third, the lines. The lines for all the stalls with stinky tofu are LOOOOOOONG. Theyre so long it might offend you because youll be standing there for a good 30-60 minutes to get some stink. This is a given if you go late at night. So I highly recommend you come here right when the Night Market opens. Its not worth coming at night. The food stalls also start running out of food around 8pm which made me very sad. Ive come to the belief that there isnt a single venue big enough to hold this event. Its extremely crowded because its so popular and amazing. But you should check it out at least once!

Fun experience to go to 626 Night Market. There are so many different types of food to chose from. In addition, there is a stage that plays music from different DJs so the whole event is lively. This place is only 4 stars though because lines are incredibly long once everyone is there. You can be waiting 30-40 minutes for one churro! However, if you are there with friends, it isnt too big of a problem. Go here for the experience definitely.

If you are a food love, you should come here! They have a lot of Asian food but you can find other countries food as well. They have so many boba store and different drinks for you so you wont get thirsty. Other than food, you can take a look at some stores that sell small stuffs and artwork. Overall its a great place to hang out with friends on weekend since its gonna take you at least 2 hours to finish the whole market!

This night market was definitely an experience, but you need to follow peoples advice. It gets crazy busy so go early and try to have a plan of places you are interested in. I wont review the food here since there are so many options except to say you have something for everyone and you wont leave hungry. The novelty drinks were actually pretty lame, but I enjoyed myself overall and it was worth the price of admission.

We went to the 626 Market for the first time and it was a great experience. They had a great assortment of unique foods and drinks that you wouldnt find at typical restaurants. We wanted to try them all but that would be very costly so we picked and choose the items we wanted to eat. In addition to the food and drink vendors, they also had a lot of vendors who sold clothing, electronics and specialty items.

this place is good, good food, good drinks ,and friendly but the two things I didnt like was their was no place to sitt to enjoy your food and the place smelled real bad like dirty restroom and you could enjoy the food while the smell was around also the lines are way to long to and when you had already order you still have yo wait 20 more mins for your food
