So me and my fiancé went to take our nieces and nephew to see the Purge movie. We got their parents permission beforehand. We also have a 4 month old daughter who has been to the movies several times and we discussed beforehand that if she gave a tiny fuss, one of us would leave with her and walk the mall until the movie is over. I purchased the tickets while holding the car seat, no one said anything. We all gave the ticket man our tickets, he checked my diaper bag and looked at my daughter, didnt say anything. We got to the theater 40 minutes before the movie started to get good seats and get snacks. We walked into the theater, there was a lady checking tickets and IDs, she counted us to make sure we had enough tickets for our group. She also looked at my daughter, not a word was said. We get situated, me and two of my nieces go get snacks and come back 5 minutes before the movie started. The same lady saw us again and didnt say anything. Literally, 2 minutes before the previews started my fiancé is pulled aside by management and told that we cant be in the theater witiih the baby. And we all have to leave. I understand if there is a policy against babies being in that type of movie but why not say anything when I purchased the tickets or when you checked my diaper bag or even when you checked my ID? Why wait until weve already sat down and purchased snacks and the movie is about to start? Why embarrass us in front of a full theatre? By the time they pulled us out the theater, all "appropriate " movies had already began. We didnt get an apology for the screw-up. My niece were so upset and embarrassed they began crying outside the theater. The manager just looked at her and walked away. Im extremely disappointed on how they handled this situation.

Big, bright and clean movie theater. Seats are stadium style so no annoying tall person blocking the screen. Chairs were comfortable. Employees were nice, and the ticket lady was well informed, was able to answer all my questions. We took our son to see Disney Cars at a 10 am showing. The projection was sharp and clear. The audio was perfect. The theater has an elevator that goes to the second floor opening up the top rows of seating. ADA accessible. My only complaint was the concession stand was very slow, and the young girl seemed to have difficulty fulfilling our order of a large coke and a large popcorn with butter. When you are getting snacks, speed is important, you dont want your costumers missing the movie. Snack bar includes all the usual things, candy, popcorn, and soda, but they also have pizza, hot dogs, sandwiches, nachos, and other treats.

The Edwards Santa Maria 14 & RPX theatre is no longer an enjoyable experience. The RPX faux leather seats squeak so loud it detracts from the movie and the screens are stained to the point that they look like a smudge on white backgrounds. Its amazing after a few years, from its original opening, how things are starting to look bad and I was their from the first week of its opening. To add insult to injury, they raised their ticket prices again while offering no additional perks or benefits and the management have done nothing to clean the screens or repair the stadium seats after numerous complaints. Sad this is the only RPX theatre, Im sure they would do a better job with upkeep if their was a nearby IMAX AMC or Cinemark within 5 miles of their location.

These are actually photos from the Santa Maria "Farmers Market." There are only 2 or 3 stands of vegetables, but the produce is wonderful (delicious fresh peaches!) and the food stands sell killer Mexican and Santa Maria-style food! There is also a mix of live entertainment, from rock bands to dancers in brightly colored dresses. Its fun to see families out enjoying an evening together.

We went to see Star Trek today at the RPX screen. The person at the ticket window charged us $40. We I asked about the price I was told that the RPX screens were more expensive. I did not realize until we got home that they had charged us for 3 tickets and the ticket taker also tore off three ticket stubs and did not say anything even though their were only two of us. -Wayne

This theater is new and nice! All the screening rooms are massive with huge screens in hi res. Sound was clear and ample. I bet the RPX room is ridiculous. Concession stand was well attended for the 7 oclock so there was very little waiting. Im not from around here, but I heard that this place is on the wrong side of town. I didnt get that vibe at all.

Zero stars is too many. They ruined the Alien Day special event with their "premier RPX" theater not capable of showing a film with freezing the image for minutes on end. This occurred multiple times before even half the movie was shown. Then they argued while issuing a refund that needed to be done twice due to the incompetent staff.

This is a great place. I dont understand how some people give it 1 star. The staff is great and so is the quality. The theater is very clean and so are the bathrooms. The popcorn and snacks are amazing. The only suggestion i have is to move a bit quicker with snacks other than popcorn. But overall its a great place and deserves 5 stars.

The RPX screen here is great, as far as sounds and picture quality its the nicest theater on the central coast. The assigned seating they just implemented is kind of foolish since many showings arent sold out. Other than that the staff and quality are top notch.

Great theater for children and adults. Prices are acceptable, popcorn is decent, and the seats are beyond belief. The comfort of the theater, as well as the audio and video quality, as outstanding. Plenty to eat and drink outside the theater as well.

Pretty nice RPX theater, plenty of theaters and they arent usually sold out. Its just pretty expensive nowadays and all the prices are just going up. I never buy food there anymore. Other than that and it being in the lame mall, its pretty nice.

We ♡♡♡ this theater! The staff are always polite, its clean (even bathrooms), its super comfy and great quality for viewing 3D. If youre a female leaving at night, be careful, the parking lots are dodgy.

This place is just awful. The seats suck, the facilities suck, the staff sucks, Iv had a better experience in cinema in Guatemala while tied upside-down by my scrotum. But the popcorn was good.

A usual theater, a bit pricey, but it does give a premium experience. Staff seemed to be a bit bored, and there were many uncleaned areas of the theater. All and all though it was good.

The place is well kept, nicely lit and decorated. Tickets are average/high ($11.25 per adult. Popcorn and drink are $6 & $5. Good stadium seating for the showings.
