I dont see how anyone could give this theatre less than a 5 star rating. In this day, with movie prices soaring over $13-$14 (especially in LA/OC), a place like this is a rarity. The prices here are INSANE. I thought this was one of those "dollar" theatres, where they show movies right before they go to DVD at a discount. Nope. This place shows new movies. Regular prices are $12 a person, $11 with student ID. But this is a small section of movies. Discounts: Tuesday & Wednesday - $6! How?! Before Noon-6pm - $8! Before Noon - $6! But the best part? They have a baller Groupon. One of the best, where basically you get 2 tickets and the biggest bag of popcorn youve ever seen in your life for around $22-$25. And thats before you add various 10%-20% discounts and any eBates you can. Ive bought two of these..I think each time I got 2 movie tickets and a popcorn for like $14. Amazing. Ive noticed they recently added the feature (for free) where you get to pick your seats. TIP: dont sit too close. The first 4-5 rows are pretty close. But I like this feature. Sure the seats and whatnot arent the best, but I love this place.

Female GM is unkind, unprofessional and pretty crazy. I had a sick Daughter so we left the movies and we were refused to see the movie another day even though we had tickets that I showed. Another day, a man on managwrial staff stopped me and asked for my ticket. The woman walking behind me was as appalled as i was and he didnt even apologize for taking my time to find the ticket. Have had several encounters with managerial staff and its never been pleasant or satisfying. As a CEO, Id fire the young, heavy set man and young female managers in a heart beat. If one is not trained to make the customers visit enjoyable, the training needs changing too.

Great prices on Tue and Wed. Go across the street for Taco Tues at Baja Fresh (1.50 fish tacos last time I checked.) Or, visit Saddle Ranch or Yard House. Parking can sometimes be a pain but arriving 15 Min early to find parking solves the problem. Weekends might be a bit more challenging, just allow time and youll be fine. The escalators have been down for a while. Hopefully theyre fixed when you decide to go. Otherwise, the stairs or elevator work fine. If its your first time, pay attention to the different levels. This will pay off after the movie when youre ready to leave. Enjoy.

There may not be any deluxe-style theaters at Triangle Square Cinemas, but this movie house is a perfect place to go for a pretty competitive price. All shows are $5 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and all of the movies are first-run. The concessions are decent and the facility reminds me back to the 90s style of arcade experience that was wrought with arcade games (which is sadly non-existent today in most theaters.) Located in Costa Mesas 19 West area, which has a burgeoning nightlife scene for additional entertainment. This theater also has international and nostalgic films on occasion.

Use to be a 5 Star theater. Due to a new seat reserve system, it has become a pain to attend movies there. I prefer first come/first serve. Someone has been sitting in my seat every time. So I grabbed whatever was close. Guess what? Someone comes and tells me to move. It is absolutely dumb to make this change when the theater is not a 20 dollar a seat/Lounge type theater. Whoever made this change is dumb. It causes confrontation/anxiety not relaxation.

I love the groupon deals and theater is always clean. Staff friendly and the two of us see movie.. large popcorn and drink $21- the assignment seats allow me to wonder and not me tied to my seat! It just takes once to realize what seats you like. Besides someone takes your seat you simply advise them and if not advise staff. Love assignment no longer waiting 30 minutes staring at screen

We live REALLY close to this theatre and loved going here. We used to think of it as our "local neighborhood theatre" but now the prices have gone up and WORST of all you have to pick assigned seats when purchasing tickets. Its hard to determine where you want to sit unless you can "test" it out in person. I feel like this theatre is trying to be something it is not. Sad to see that.

Parking is not bad and if you park on 2nd level going towards 3rd level there is an entrance right next to the theater. They have raised the prices and no special days for cheaper prices like in the past. I DO NOT LIKE THE PRE ASSIGNED SEATING they now make us do. I like walkung into the room and sit where we might like, not choosing before we go in there. SUCKS

Great value for the money. Taco Tuesdays at Black Knight Gastro Lounge and then on to here or vice versa, you cant beat the value. Very quick service at the concession stand and the icee and popcorn are good. Concession prices are comparable to other cinemas, but with dirt cheap prices on admission theyve got to make their money somehow

This theater was pretty bad. A/C was broken which we thought they might offer water to patrons but nothing, Then they tried to pull a fast one by charging me double on a single by which for some odd reason took two people to refund my purchase then recharge while missing first 10 mins of movie. Terrible place.

The cinema center is located on the 2nd floor and is separated from the parking. The higher you park. The longer the distance away you will be. Aside from that caveat the cinema is decent. They have only one large theatre room at the end of the hallway, hence their biggest film will usually be shown there.

This theater needs a facelift. The chairs are old and outdated and it just seemed kind of dirty. Parking is a pain in the butt but its in a center with a bunch of nice restaurants which makes it really convenient for date night. Definitely not my favorite theater, not even close, but the location is nice.

Although the cinema is kind of outdated, it is really beautiful and unique once youre in the cinema. Also location is extremely gorgeous and the cinema is part of triangle circke which contains bars, restaurants, bowling, gym, and more stuff. Recommend it if you plan on doing hangouts with friends or family.

The best deal for first-run films. Ticket prices are amazingly low - even for 3D films - and their concessions will actually NOT break the bank! My first choice for movie going! And, the Triangle finally has some great restaurants that have brought much-needed life back to this shopping center.

the $5 movies on tuesday and wednesday are unbeatable! i always come here when i want to relax and enjoy a great movie. my only complaint: the firs two theatres on the right shake bc they are above the parking structure. so keep that in mind when you choose your movie!
