I grew up in Carmichael and Carmichael Park was the place to hang out with friends and family. It really disappoints me that it feels like now when I go to the park, it is starting to look like a campground for the homeless. They never clean up their mess, and the foul language is a constant. I know the park is for everyone and I am not slamming the homeless, as there are some that are quiet,clean up after themselves and are no bother.But I am speaking about the ones that have no respect for anything or anyone.Last week, my wife and i pulled in and there was a homeless guy peeing in the dog park! More security is needed.

The park is really nice and well maintained. We mainly came for the dog park since we have no kids but have dogs. It started out fine, but over time we started noticing more and more people who do not control their dogs properly. They let the dogs do whatever they want, dont clean up after their dogs and think its no big deal when confronted about it. Not all the people are like this, but there are enough that we will be finding another dog park till this is figured out.

I went here all the time as a kid, and it was a great place to have fun and hang out with friends and family. I love the dog parks! However, recently, it has become a little overrun by people who are homeless, which affects the atmosphere there. Also, it seems like there are disc golfers everywhere, and the places where I used to play football and volleyball are now reserved for disc golf only. Overall, I still love it! I go on walks and bring my dog there all the time.

This isnt our go to park, the first few times we have gone here it looked pretty bad. I think since that pokemon game has come out and there is some pokestops here there is more kids and also the police have been on top of removing the homless and the tweakers who try and hang out here. There is a small dog park here by the playground. I like how we can park right by the playground. Stroller friendly which is a plus!

Just simply put, one of the nicest and best outdoor farmers markets in all the region. Ive given this farmers market a lot of my business, and let me tell you these guys dont dissapoint. For the most part the produce and products Ive seen appear very fresh and well taken care of. So if your in the market for some fresh local produce, why not give this farmers market a try!

Carmichael Park is a great place to hang out. They have basketball courts, tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a dog park, Frisbee golf and a public pool. The community center makes bomb pancakes that support veterans on Sundays, and theres always events going on. I think its the first (or the last) Thursday of each month is a food truck day with live music.

Tons of homeless people sleeping around with their pitbulls off leash. Ghetto and white trash people taking their dogs to the park who then start fights. Even the owners Ive encountered have had verbal and outright rude behaviors toward me. I will never take my dog there again no would I ever suggest this park to anyone. People dont know how to be civil.

Nice setting for a market. Plenty of produce, crafts, and ready to eat foods. Music provided as well. Could use more organic vendors for my taste. Getting in and out and parking can be a bit of a challenge. If I dont feel like driving into Sacramento on a Sunday morning, this is a good alternative.

Very nice park with alot of different activities for people, including a farmers market in Sunday. Check out Carmichael Park and Recreation website for all the different activities available. I enjoy the Carmichael Cactus and Succulent show during the month of May, usually the third weekend.

Great place for small groups AND even very large groups! We had a LARGE group with ample room and plenty of space for all our needs. Plus, the picnic tables area was covered! No blaring hot sun beating down on us. The restroom wasnt too far, well, it was a little too far.

Small local park with lots going on. Tennis, baseball, Frisbee golf, playground, and a remodeled dog park to name a few. Farmers Market every Sunday and food trucks on some Thursdays. In the summer, there are free outdoor movies for kids and concerts at the bandshell.

This is one of the best farmers markets Ive been to they have vendors that sell jewelry soaps theres a taco truck as well as all of the fruits and vegetables and flowers that you would normally find at a farmers market it is absolutely the best one I have been to.

Great place, lots to do for all ages. There is a Frisby golf course that is challenging and rewarding. The kids have play places. There is a large and small dog park. And if you just need and out of the hub bub place to park and eat your lunch its here too.

Staff keep it mostly clean. Baseball games almost every day. And theres is concerts in the parks and other events that take place here. Only con is lots of dope smokers come through here and I have to smell it all the time.

I love this park. They have all sorts of events and most are free. The only issue others complain about is the homeless that gather in groups all around the park. They dont bother me or mine nor have i had any issues.

The workers take great care in the park all around. The kids area, the ball fields and the dog park are all wonderful. Even those frisbee throwing people have wonderful trash cans to toss frisbees in. Too cool.

I love coming here on Sundays for the Farmers Market. The sellers have great produce. There are variety of people selling clothes, food and theres usually live music which creates a festive atmosphere.

Not a very good place for the disabled people! Hardly any pathways. Hell even if your walking down fair oaks on the sidewalk, you will get hit by a disc, or even your car. A law suit in waiting.

Nice park with many local events happening on site. Newly resurfaced tennis courts, disc golf, and dog park. At times a few too many homeless hanging out and leaving trash.

I think they need to stay open later. It would nice to have a few more things there, as well. But its a good spot to get local & organic veggies.
