My sons favorite park and he calls it the "sun" park because the play structure has a sun on top (I never noticed till he pointed this out). Gibbons Park has just about anything you would want in a park. There are two sets of tennis courts, a basketball court, concrete walking or riding paths throughout, party area with tables and benches, and a few areas to barbecue. There are two play structure areas for the kids, one for the younger children and one for the older ones. A small third section has two swings plus a tire swing. There is plenty of space to set up a volleyball game on grass and they tore down the old restrooms within the last 2 years and built a new structure with updated restrooms.

Love this park! We moved into the area recently the the park is within walking distance. Its well maintained, the bathrooms are nice and there doesnt seem to be very much undesirable activity happening here - clean and open enough to be able to keep an eye on the kids as they move about the park.

This is a great little park to take the kids. They also rent a hall for special events at a decent price. Only downside is you have to have everything clean and ready to go by 11 PM on the day of your event. (Noise has to be over by 10 PM).So make a plan and use your time wisely.

Went at night to hang out with a friend of mine and play Phase 10 since we didnt have anywhere else to go. There a few homeless people and we were bugged by one of them but, not so bad. Very quite. Would be nice to have security there every 10-15 minutes just in case.

Tennis courts, basketball court, two playgrounds for under 5 and over 5, covered patios with benches, long walking path with exercise stations along the route, and a very long and open grass area. Everything is in clean and working condition. Great park!

Nice walk going through the park and great playground for kids. 2 playgrounds in fact, one for the smaller children and theres plenty of shade so the structure isnt burning hot during summer. Even a tire swing which I never see on playgrounds now a days.

Nice place, not lonely one. Theres always people. It has two tennis courts, basketball court, large field, bicycle traits, walking traits around the park, and of course a big childrens corner. This is one of my favorite parks in San Juan District.

Beautiful, well-cleaned, safe park. It even has small exercise stations for your legs, a tennis court, and two playgrounds. Definitely recommend this place for birthday parties, family celebrations, or even just a picnic.

Good sized park. There is an unoffical path around the ouside edge of the park the regular dog walkers follow. Nice playground and lots of open grass area. Plenty of room for multiple games of field sports.

Great, open park for family, picnics, walking the dog, or for a game of tennis. Heavily supervised by neighbors and local PD. Would not recommend taking your dog off the leash.
