A Laughably Poor Existence of an Amusement Park for Adults and Children This was my first experience at a Jambo Amusement Park with no knowledge beforehand of what is actually was. I walk in with my girlfriend to check it out with $11 – All Day Wristband coupons in hand and discover that a majority of the rides have a weight limit of 110lbs or 165lbs. We laugh and can’t really knock the place for being primarily for young children, the employee offers an Unlimited Laser Tag, Mini-Bowling, and Mini-Golf Adult wristbands for $3 and we take him up on the offer. Upon passing the desk with our wristbands, we discover the following: -Laser Tag is closed. -Mini-Bowling is closed. Right of the gate and 2/3 things we can only do are closed. After a discussion with an employee, we are given $6 in tokens each for a total of $12. We go to experience the arcade for a total of ~20 arcade machines: -The rewards for tickets are pitiful. Chutes and Ladders at 4500 tickets at the desk, dollar store toys located in the ticket reward machine. That’s all. -The one air hockey table frequently had issues where pucks would go in and pop right back out, not counting for a score. -¾ of the escalating animal rides that you find in front of grocery stores are broken. Cruisin’ USA started to crash while we were playing it, artifacts appearing on screen and freezing. -So many audio issues – low sound from Time Crisis, no sound from Skeeball, low sound from MvC2, low sound from The Simpsons Beat-Em-Up And for the Mini-Golf – it is poorly constructed. The actual courses can be moved by a person’s feet and appear to have been made straight out of someone’s garage – plywood and fake grass. The barriers of the courses are too low, so balls will constantly be falling off the course and into others’ games. Balls would continue to get stuck underneath the hollow plastic structures. There is no fake grass surrounding the courses like it is in the picture, it is a plain cement floor. Do yourself and your child a favor – don’t go to Jambo.

I read a lot of reviews that didnt leave the best image in my head and left me kind of hesitant to come here but i was desperate to have a party indoors because its like 100+ degrees here in phnx. I threw my brother his 2nd birthday party yesterday and was very impressed with how big the place was, 85% of the attractions and games were functioning properly unlike some other reviews i read, there were some minor issues with the jungle gym but so many other things that kept the kids busy and the built in chairs at the tables were slightly broken and dated but that is minor when your dealing with toddlers. The pizza was good, they let you do your own thing , and it wasnt busy so as soon as wed decide to get on a ride theyd come right over and start it for us. There are a lot of things i liked about this place the only thing i didnt like was the attitude i got from the staff. It was almost not happy enough for a kids establishment and i didnt like how hot it was in the building, i asked the manager to turn the air down and continually sweated for 4 hours until l got into my car and headed home but either way the kids had a blast , i had a coupon, and we had a great party for a great price. I will definitely be back here.

I took a 7 year old and 5 year old at 10am on a Friday and we left at 1:30pm. We experienced everything except for laser tag, arcades and the food but the kids participated in every other activity/ride at least three times. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was wonderful with the kids. If a kid is looking anxious on a ride, then they will slow it down or stop the ride entirely. If a kid doesnt want to spin around, then the staff wont spin them. If there is no one around in line or waiting nearby, then the staff allow the ride to run for longer. There is SO much flexibility with a Park Ranger running every two rides that the kids, there were quite a few, dont wait long in between rides and you get a lot of individual attention. After reading the reviews for this park, I was a little nervous but at $12 per kid and the service we received, I was very impressed. We will DEFINITELY be back to this Phoenix location next month!!! Im not sure what the expectations were from other reviewers but there were countless moms saying, "Okay, but this is the last time, then we have to go home!" and I was in the same boat. Kids LOVE this place and it is safe. Isnt that really what matters?

Bought a Groupon and took my toddler girls to the one in Mesa and I will probably not go back. First, the overall look of the place is depressing. The interior was dirty and had a heavily used look. The rides were old and in generally poor condition. Foam padding in the play area was torn with pieces falling out. Only about half the ballasts had lights so some areas of the building were quite dim. A number of rides and games took tokens without turning on. Second, the workers looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere but at Jambo. Most of the workers looked like they had rolled out of bed and picked up a dirty tee-shirt and pants off the floor 5 minutes before coming to work. Many of them were more interested in their phones than their customers. Only one attendant managed to say "Hi", "Bye" and "Thanks You" to us. Additionally, there were not enough workers to man all the rides. If my girls wanted to ride a ride and there was not an attendant, I would have to track down one to help us. Didnt eat there, but given the general atmosphere, I doubt the food was even as good as McDonalds. Will probably not go back

I took my little sister here (shes 7) just to spend the day with her. Although, I will say some of the games were broken and majority of the attractions seemed a little out dated BUT safe. I really enjoyed seeing a smile on her face. I can honestly say she was so excited to be able to go from games to the attractions back to games or however she liked WHEN she liked. There were no little to no lines, the place was big enough for her to run around and have fun like all kids like to do. I would have wanted there to be more kids her age at the time we went so she could interact while having fun BUT I played that role pretty well :) She has been to tons of different indoor and outdoor theme parks but I will say Jambo really made her day. It totally made it easy to leave when she wanted the Giraffe at the prize center but didnt have enough tickets; the manager let me buy the giraffe. She was thrilled. It didnt surprise me though, the staff were ALL very nice and available to start rides as soon as we walked up to them. So thank you Jambo for providing a fun experience for me but especially my sister.

I was surprised at how much fun this place was and for the money, a pretty good deal. Cant go every day, but once in a while, that $10.99 price to get in and play all day doesnt seem bad. I do think the staff should hire a janitor as there was lots of dust under the rides, but the rides themselves were very clean and mostly well maintained. The robotic animals were a joke, though, with their broken legs and tails and necks. Those need to be better maintained or eliminated altogether. I thought the staff were very nice and very accommodating. They seemed to enjoy their work, one and all. The manager was also nice and took care of the one problem we had with a machine (it ran out of tickets) as quickly as he could. The rainy day may have caused the place to be busier than expected and the staff did seem a little overwhelmed with work, but they kept their cool. Extra kudos to the gentleman working the Laser Tag room - he was so nice and so respectful. Hard job, too, since thats where all the hyped up kids go to play! Well be back in the summer. Thanks for a great day of fun.
