I was pleasantly surprised. The Lost Leaf also functions as an art gallery showcasing local and national artists and is one of Phoenixs up and coming artistic venues. This place is definitely harder to find at first, yet it is still very much a hidden gem to most Phoenicians. The prices are reasonable and theres enough variety for a casual get together. I would come here more if I lived nearby but it isnt the kind of restaurant that pops in my mind as the first place to go.

Im bouncing between a 3 and 4 star rating because the physical feel of this place is great, and the bands are awesome (even if the sound quality has a TON of room for improvement, theres no consistancy in the sound, even between acts on the same night!) I wish seating was more available, there seems to be a lot of empty floor space, and itd be nice to have options other than a bag of chips foodwise - even if all theyd offer is fryer stuff itd be a huge improvement!

This venue has great free local shows in an old Phoenix house environment. Their beer and wine selection is great albeit a little pricey. It is a little small but I think that is what gives it so much character. Hipster locals like to hang out here so bring a few good friends to people watch. There is rotating art that lines the walls, if you like something find out how much it is, you can buy them.

I would give 10 stars if i could!!! This place is awesome they always have live music or a live SHOW!!! Nothing compares to the live music atmosphere and the great people you meet and enter-act with here!!! By far the best selection of beers, meads and lagers i have ever seen both local and non-local flavors!!! No other place like this place!!!; no other place i would rather be!!!

Love bars like these. The entrance doesnt have a clear sign with the bar name, and it has a staircase that goes upstairs to the main room. Their cocktails are very complex and the atmosphere was very fun and laid back. The place got really crowded on Saturday night and there was a line around midnight. We were able to grab a table and just hang out. Would highly recommend!

This review is for beer drinkers. If you dont prefer a nice stout, ale or porter, you may want to keep on walking past The The Lost Leaf. Superb beer selection, I stuck with the Bear Republic Tribute (lovely brown ale). Also had the roast chicken sandwich accompanied by their tasty horseradish pickles. Definitely a great place for beers and top notch food.

The reviews about the rude bartenders are spot on. Even though it was not busy, 4 rude bartenders ignored us to the point where we almost walked out. Finally got served, had one drink and left. Got the strong impression that if you did not fit their impression of the "in" crowd, they would cherry pick who they wanted to serve and hope you went away.

I hadnt been here in a while; and let me say i was definitely impressed with the very obvious changes to the front patio area. Lost leaf has always been a great local spot to get away; but i feel that now its a great local spot to sit and enjoy with friends. As always the staff is great and more than accommodating.

Great music, nice atmosphere, fun times. Bartenders left a lasting impression of rudeness. Was repeatedly ignored as bartenders cherrypicked who they would serve first, seemingly by their appearance. When I was helped, I was treated very rudely, even though I couldnt have been more agreeable.

Great beer selection and not particularly obnoxious if the Rangers arent playing in the playoffs (held off on reviewing it the first time I was there for that reason). I like the screen menu too, should be more common in these rotating tap joints.

The Lost Leaf is at the heart of the famous Roosevelt Row. It is a staple in every downtowners outings. Great selection, great crowd, great live tunes. Come early to beat the crowd if youre feeling antisocial. Come for a true Phoenix experience.

When you guarantee live music every night its not always going to be the best, but Ive seen some great shows here. I dont drink, but they have a huge beer menu, and theyre cool about letting you bring in coffee from next door

Awesome little hole in the wall old feel club with lots of nice people and amazing bands. Little cramped if you go on a Saturday night but can make your way around to find a good spot to stand and drink.

Great music, great bartenders, great atmosphere. No fancy cocktails for $15 or more, but solid old standards. Wonderful greyhounds with fresh grapefruit! Glad theyll be around a while longer.

The Lost Leaf is always amazing, but they opened up a smaller bar in the back which took out their already small seating area. Great place for First Fridays if you dont mind standing.

Nestled in Roosevelts art district. Gallery based beer and wine bar. Local rotating art and live music every night. Neighbors Jobot. Walking distance to heart of downtown.

Very cool spot in the middle of an old downtown neighborhood. Crowd is very eclectic. For being so small and busy some nights, bartenders do a good job!

Trule a hidden gem. Great free music talent - NO COVER - and a fantastic beer selection. Lovely, quaint, and highly artistic.

We went in on a Friday night. Reminded me of a college house party. Walked in. Walked around. Departed within 10 minutes.

Great intimate house - relax and enjoy type of venue. Absolutely the best place for locals - and a beer with friends
