If youre thinking about visiting this park, stop thinking and go. Wake someone special up with you and go early in the morning to watch the sunrise you will not be disappointed. Directions: This Hidden Gem is located on the southeast end of Lookout Mountain If youre going to this park from Cave Creek Road turn when you get to Hearn Rd. Going westbound now on Hearn Rd. youll come to 20th Place take a left onto 20th Place you should be heading south bound until N 18th Street turn right and go west again until you see the Park on your right you cannot miss it. Amenities: This park obviously sits at the bottom of Lookout Mountain so much like its neighbor to the North Buffalo Ridge Park, LMp offers quite a bit of light hiking. Along with the Hiking there is a lot of parking, clean and well-kept restrooms, tons of park benches for parties and two different modern playgrounds for the kids. Throw in Volley Ball Pits with nets for the adults, and two tennis courts to add a touch of class and all you need is a Mountain and you have a perfect park.

This park and the adjoining hiking trails are one of the reasons we chose to move into the area. Neatly tucked away from the traffic of busy streets, its situated at the south base of Lookout Mountain. It boasts trail access and expansive 360 degree mountain views. The park is circumferenced by a walking trail that showcases exercise pitstops. Bathroom facilities/drinking fountains are locates near the amble parking lot. There are two well kept sand volleyball courts and tennis courts. There are two covered play ground areas located a short trail path away from one another. They were both remodeled last year. When they started construction I hoped that they would choose to use the rubber flooring however, they went with wood chips. Still better than sand I guess. If it isnt obvious by now, we love our park.

One of many hiking mountains in the valley. If you are native to Northern Phoenix and are looking for some outside adventure check out the native plants and species in the preserve. There are hiking trails and a look out point with a beautiful view of the area.

Nice neighborhood park with access to Lookout Mountain hiking. There are large open grass areas, new and nice play structures for kids, volleyball courts, and tennis courts.

We enjoy hiking to the top of Lookout Mountain. We can see all the way to the Cardinals Stadium and beyond. Weve seen some coyotes here too.

A great view of the valley day or night. I also love to come here for stargazing although there is quite a bit of light pollution.
