Pros - covered play areas for toddlers and older kids, splash pad open from end of May to end of summer 10a - 7p, meditation maze, two covered gazebos, skate park, volley ball court, basketball court, big field, water fountains even for dogs or ferrets, if you walk your ferrets... Cons - the obligatory nasty public bathrooms, skaters engaged in pot smoking powwow, occasional homeless or two. All cons are usually at the other side of the park away from kids play area.

Hudson Park has something for everyone. With a basketball court, splash play area, BBQs, shaded picnic tables, a huge grass field, and a skatepark it is the perfect park for a large family gathering or weekend cookout. Being close to downtown Tempe and ASU it does attract a lot of college students and homeless people but it is a generally safe area. In short this is my favorite neighborhood park in Arizona!

Hudson Park is one of the 3 main skateparks in Tempe (yes, Tempe has 3 skateparks! ) and is unique compared to the other 2 in 2 main factors: 1) It is completely above ground (no bowls or drop-ins...) 2) The ramps are made of durable treated wood vs concrete (Im assuming it was wood) This is a great little skatepark. This rating is given in comparison to the other 2 in Tempe. I suggest hitting up all 3.

Nice park with new playground equipment. Splash pad during the season. Toddler area thats covered and a bigger kid playground area thats covered too. Basketball courts, sand volleyball court, skate park, ramada, and bathrooms. Lush trees with nice grass and a meditation maze. Homeless hangs out here. Park is well patrolled. Within walking distance to light rail.

Really nice park. Wasnt at all packed when I went at 5:30pm on a Saturday, but Im sure it varies. Only my family and two other families. I was expecting a big crowd, so it was nice. My 2 year old daughter had fun at the splash pad and playing on all the playground equipment

This is a great park. Lots of parking, places for kids to play (including a spray-park), ride skateboards, and play basketball - this park is also big enough to go for a short walk. Well-lit and with bathrooms. Overall, a great place to visit.

You could enjoy playing at volleyball and basketball playgrounds till 10:00pm Small but good skatepark! skateboarders are always there. And a nice green area. One drawback; some times a bad smell comes from the public bathroom out there!

Nice small splash pad, skate park, basket ball court, playground and plants of shades trees as well as benches. Im from Peoria but came to Tempe town Lake for their splash pad but its been shut down. Came to Hudson instead and had a ball.

Self-service splash pad during the summer. Playgrounds are right next to splash pad which makes it easier to keep an eye on all the kids. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood so not very busy. Tempes hidden gem!

Great park. Great skate area..skate park can get crowded at times but its shaded late in the day. Overall. Its the best place we have found for the kids to skate then the bonus they can cool off in the slash pad

My children love the Splash Pad at this park when we are unable to go to Tempe Beach Park. Hudson Park is more laid back and less crowded.

Its good place to go for a walk. There is a kids area to play. Rest rooms are available. Volleyball and basketball courts are available.

Great little spot, but the volleyball court only has about 4" of sand and then straight concrete and I ripped my feet and knees apart
