WARNING!!!! PLEADE READ!!!I go here every year for my kids bday party and have never had a problem till today. We got there around 7pm and me my kids and some friends locked everything up in the electronic lockers yeah wish we got the other ones that u use a key well. I had gone back a hour later to grab my money and somebody had broken into my locker stold my brand new phone and all my money left me and my kids all the way broke. So we ended up going to fist aid and come to find out numerous peoples lockers had been broken into as well and they dont have any cameras ariund the lockers. The guy in first aid told me he way sorry as I cried but I looked at him and told him sorry isnt going to help and the only thing he can do is call mesa pd. I mean but come on what is mesa pd really going to do? He isnt going to get my money back or anybody elses either. Well I talked t ok manager and asked for a refund and she have it to my but told us we had to leave... like are u serious we just got robbed at your water park and cant stay for my kids bday party and all this happened. But after I contacted mesa n pd and everybody made a report the manager at sunsplash told me that this something happened last weekend. Like are u serious and u didnt get some cameras at the lockers? Why wouldnt they shut down those lockers instead of letting more people get things stolden from them. I asked her well do u think its somebody who a is working here and she said no. But they ended up letting me and my kids stay a few hours longer even tho the experience was horrible and worst kids party ever. I would think that they would at least try to give sum some n passes so we could come another time... so they could win us back but they didnt at all

Looks like this place hasnt been updated since it opened. Vintage is a cool look when its maintained. Cabanas are a cool addition and awesome if you can afford to foot the $109 rental fee. The slides are fun, but not the way up isnt. The "cool deck" hasnt been repainted in years, so its not cool at all, infact is slippery and the misters that used to keep you cool while in line dont work anymore. My family and I waited over 25 minutes for over priced food. Paid $10 per person in addition to water park fees to play golf.... on a run down busted 18 holes, most not even functional. The best part was when we were in the wave pool for about 5 minutes just as the waves started pre teens (life guards in training) were participating in a staged chicken fight. A girl pretended to be drowning. Half were yellin at us to get out, the other half were laughing and carrying on. They kicked everyone out, my 5 year old was terrified, no one knew what was going on that wasnt directly in front of their horrible acting. No announcement was made, no apologies. But.... there is a sign (on your way out, that used to be the entrance) that states they may "conduct drills for our safety with manikins that seem life like". If youre going to do that take it more seriously and notify the guests that are paying so much money to be there. Maybe I dont want my child to see someone to parent to drown. The kids had fun and dont know any better but Id say its a crock and a rip off. Wet n Wild is smaller but newer, cleaner and closer for us! Now we know.

We decided this past Sat night to go to Sunsplash and enjoy the Night splash, needless to say, we wont EVER return! Night splash is from 7PM-11PM, we got there at 7:10, had to wait in line for 45 mins just to get in the door, then paid $71 for 4 tickets and a locker ($13.88 per person, and the locker was $11!! but you do receive $5 back if you return the key). The place was packed! We decided to hit the "bigger" rides first, and had to wait in line for 25 mins just to get a tube for the ride, then get into another line and wait an additional 20 mins just to get on the water slide. Next we went to the wave pool, were we waited in yet another line. Once we were in the wave pool, each group of people only get 10 mins, then its back in line. All double tubes were gone, and the moment we went into yet another line to ride different tubes, it was announced the park would be closing early due to weather. So...bottom line I spent $71 to wait in lines and be told they are closing early due to weather. Next time well go to the movies where we could actually enjoy 2 full hours of something, eat, and still pay less! If you have time and money to lose, then Sunsplash is for you! Let me also note, I have an Autistic son, and he was devastated that we had to leave early and in the 3 hours we were there, only got to ride on ONE slide and sit in the wave pool for 10 mins. It took me nearly an hour to calm him down, no parent wants to watch their child be so heartbroken.

My SO and I got season passes for last Summer, and we were very satisfied! The park is a little bit smaller than Wet n Wild, but light years cleaner! It gets very crowded all the time once the Summer gets rolling, so we mostly came for night splash. Season passes are such a deal though! If we did not get them and came only for night splash as many times as we did, it would have costed us hundreds! The reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the staff, although very nice, all seemed to be of the high school age with the exception of the wave pool lifeguards and the supervisor. Dont get me wrong, I am all for giving kids Summer jobs, and the kids at Sunsplash are adorable and friendly, but, only hiring teenagers may not be the best way to go about things. There were a few times where we had minor issues, and the young staff did not know how to fix anything unless they called and then usually waited about 10 minutes for an adult to come. My SO and I talked many times about what would happen if something went terribly wrong on a ride. We would never hope for anything to go wrong, but if it did, having a 100 pound high schooler trying to figure out how to deal with it probably will not go over too well, simply because high schoolers are small and do not have way too much life experience. Again, I really enjoy the waterpark and everyone is friendly, it would just be nice to see more adults running things!

GREAT experience! Its a workout hauling the 4 person tubes up the steps, but so worth it! If this is your first time, beware that on "The Cauldron" when they ask you if you can swim in 9 ft of water, THEY MEAN IT! You literally drop into a 9 ft pool of water and have to swim to the surface after being disoriented! Very fun though. The lines werent bad at all! Not what I was expecting at all, I had a group of 8 people, and none of us waited longer than 10-15 minutes to get on a ride. Some of the lifeguards come across rude, probably just doing their job, but I also feel like they should be able to answer questions. Shortout to Curtis, he was very personable and able to answer questions before the Bonzi slides. I wish that they were all like that. A little kindness goes a long way and it doesnt take away from their job at all. The food was awful. I split a barbacoa burrito and a cheeseburger combo with my friend. Both were terrible. The burrito was flavorless and mushy. Not worth the almost $10. The burger tasted straight out of the cafeteria. They do have lettuce and tomato for you to grab as well as fry sauce. BRING WATER!! You get dehydrated very fast. They provide drinking fountains, its clearly tap water, but anything tastes good when your tongue is dry. Of all three water parks in AZ, this is all-around the best, lines considered as well as quality of rides.
