In recent years, the Mobile Fairgrounds has become significantly cleaner and family friendly. This past fair was the cleanest Ive seen yet and now they offer many more family friendly activities in addition to the usual carnival. The carnival its self could use some TLC and a coat of paint(Reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Also, the Mobile Fairgrounds hosts other events throughout the year, so be sure to check out their website for upcoming events.

Mobile Fairgrounds is a great place for big events. We went there for annual chili cook-off, Mobile FAIR (loved to take pictures with sea lions, perring zebras, and enjoyed rides and shopping). The parking is huge, and is regulated by event coordinators. Fair grounds have large stage for concerts, big facility for interior presentations, clean bathrooms. Thank you.

Took my 5 year old and she mainly went through the fun houses. Disgusting. Just from walking and making contact with the wall going through the different rooms she was covered in dirt and dust. Not very pleased. Paid too much for the rides not to be clean or wiped down.

Worst state Fair Ive ever been to. Nothing but food and rides. We had to pay to get in, and then pay for everything else. A total waste of money. Clearly run only for the profit of the company who owns all the rides.

Ive been to this place several times this summer. Rodeos, gun and knife show, I went to a furniture show just the other day. They have the fair coming next in a couple months.

Nice, family-friendly experience! The fair is under new leadership as of 2016 and has drastically improved since then.

The grounds was clean and plenty of police for protection, needed more bathrooms. Overall was good.
