I dont care what any park literature says, you have to ride in the front row to truly experience this ride. You may get a similar view from the raised seats in the second and third rows, but the true "dangling over the side of the coaster" experience is not the same back there as it is in the front. Ive ridden so many times that I know the number of seconds you hang, but it never ever fails to feel like much longer than the actual time, which is pretty impressive. You get some amazing views of the park up there, plus the downward motion and loops are really great ride mechanics. Its also very smooth and fairly comfortable for a roller coaster.

This is easily my favorite coaster ever. Verbolten is a good, solid second place, but nothing can beat the Griffon. You absolutely must sit in the front row the first time you ride this. Trust me, it is absolutely worth the wait. It has a smooth ride, awesome inversions, yet not so many inversions that it gets redundant or even sickening. This is an amazing ride.

Was riding this with my little niece. The drop hangs you over the edge for a few seconds... Then drops straight down when you least expect it... I was so terrified i curled up in a ball and almost freaked out. I look over and my niece is laughing at me and smiling and having a great time. Definitely a very intense coaster!

This was my first drop coaster and it is definitely on my list for favorite coasters... It also features a floorless design which is cool as hell. Hanging from the top before u drop is incredible... A must try... A 5 star coaster...

Busch Gardens never fails to impress with their rides and Griffon is no exception. This ride give a great view of the park and one actually feels as if they are on the wings of a Griffon if you sit at either extreme end of a row.

No seat is a bad seat! This is a great ride! The holding brake before the 90 degree first drop certainly adds to the experience. I havent been on any other B&M dive coasters, but this one is probably one of the best.

me and my cousins and mom just did this roller coaster yester day it was amazing im glad the roller coaster stopped right before you drop so you can see your beautiful surroundings I highly suggest this ride
