Intimate, high-caliber performances in a charming space with great acoustics. Theres an adjacent indoor bar and outdoor courtyard. The education center next door is excellent and the surrounding area is picturesque. The staff is friendly and helpful. And, again, the work presented on the stage here is absolutely outstanding. Maybe not the easiest drive from DC (what is?), but well worth it. I hear there might be a shuttle from the nearby Metro- might be worth looking into.

This is a clean, intimate venue the marries music with the outdoors. So delightful with great acoustics, Wolf Trap offers a unique setup with the stage positioned downhill from the seating. This allows for great lawn seats! Also, I cant forget to mention how wonderful it is to be able to bring in your own food and drinks!!!

The Barns at Wolf Trap, in comparison, to the amphitheater, is a very small intimate venue. It has a second level of seating which allows for a little more people without compromising the view of the stage. Very rustic atmosphere with exposed beams making it feel very much like a barn.

Went to see Michael Nesmith there. The venue is so beautiful, even the band said it was one of their favorites. There are no bad seats! The only downer was the no camera policy. Even with no flash.
