Great mrmories here back in 04 with so many different groups of races and parties all in one area with no fights. Thats rare in Hawaii and really felt blessed experiencing what I have always dreamed of. A lake with a lil dock to jump off with a serene view. There are no safe lakes in Hawaii and loved this unforgettable lake. Simple and sweet :) I cant believe I found it on the map. Whoo hoo!!!

Best place to swim in the area. Yes, the water looks like root beer. And if you dont shower in the freezing cold shower right after you get done, you might get swimmers itch. But theres no life guards or ropes trapping people in a tiny area. Its very spacious and peaceful. Has a nice playground. Plenty of picnic tables, BBQs, tennis and basketball courts, and a dock for fishing

The park itself is a secenic public place. Secondly ,it can accommodate lots of people for various gatherings. And it has basketball and tenes playgrounds for peoples entertainment. Also, there is a pond and walking small trail. Huge parking space. Finally an awesome place for families and individuals. And most importantly a suitable place for you kabob. Yummy yummy

This is a nice park with areas for picnics, swimming and a dock for fishing. There is a playground for the kids as well as tennis courts and more for all ages. Ober the last 15 years, this location has seriously improved in maintenance as well as cleaning up the lake water. I would highly recommend a visit here.

I love walking the lake and its little trails. But its nowhere near as good as it was back in the seventies when we grew up swimming there everyday! I was on their swim team along with my sisters. I was a part time lifeguard and a swim instructors for babies n toddlers:-). It was great!

This park is gorgeous. Lots of space, 3 shelters for family outings, a fishing dock, childrens play area along with tennis courts, basketball court and a baseball diamond. Designated swimming area to cool off in and trails to walk along.

Love this park. There is a hole on the playground covered by a traffic cone but everyone seems to do fine with not inspecting it. My daughter loves the playground, the water is pretty to look at and they have ample gazebos for booking.

Went to this park for a family BBQ. I really enjoyed myself. There was alot of people due to the weather being so hot but it worked out great!!! We are planning another BBQ in a few weeks. I recommend this park for large family BBQs..

Its just a nice park and has Trails up in the hills and stuff and its on the water and theres swimming there and you can fish off the dock and its great big grassy area and barbecues built in its just a nice park lots of parking 2

The park and lake are well kept and clean. Its not too crowded with people, you can always find a good spot for yourself. They have public restrooms although I wish they were more clean other than that this place is perfect!

Went here after work to fish yesterday (Tuesday) didnt catch anything, nor get a bite, but the park was a nice place and well kept. Might not be worth the fishing, but worth a trip if you have little ones.

Theres many thins you can do. The lake is right there. Tennis, basketball, a walking trail and a playground. Theres never too many people. Everyone is friendly. Ive never had any problems.

It has a very fun park for my kids and the river is very clean and clear. I would give it four stars because the water was very cold in the afternoon. Overall, it is a very enjoyable park.

Theres a newer covered area near the tennis courts. The older covered areas all had the chimney style grills and sinks removed which has left a wide open space for ease of movement.

Well maintained park with activity options such as fishing, tennis, basketball. Good place for family event reservations for group a must if available. Very busy during the summer.

Such a Beautiful park! Fishing, swimming, tennis, basketball and baseball diamond. There are 3 covered facilities for BBQ/picnics. Lots of grass and trees! Very clean!

Didnt have a sign saying when it opened. We were here at 6:12 am on Saturday 7-16-16. 3 other cars showed up also. Thinking that the park would be open at dawn.

There is everything in one place: lake, tennis court, basketball and volleyball areas. Also there is a few gazebos, wich is great for birthday parties. Love it!

The water is like coca cola brown , no life guards or dock. The only plus is it has a very big play set for the kids and awesome walking trails for the adults

Clean, scenic, close proximity but feels far away. Bathroom facilities and grounds are kept maintenanced. The social atmosphere is welcoming and safe.

the facilities, park, and playground are all top notch. although, the lakebed ground hurt our feet. I recommend watershoes or whatever theyre called.

Great drive and good scenery, plenty of funny raccoons who beg for food along the sides of the road. Make sure you dont feed them though, its illegal.

Pretty nice park there is a playground for younger kids. Good access to the lake. Quiet area lots of parking. Lots of shade for the hot summer days.

Some hove water are brownish red, its kind of really weird. I personally do not like it. But the park is kind of clean and allot of space to play.

Parking lot is too small for a park this popular. Water is pretty murky, but not cold. Beach is very crowded, but the lake itself is pretty empty.

A great place fun for everyone. I thought the only problem I found was the water is pretty dirty. has plant growth patches in in the lake.
