As Suzanne wrote this Casino is situated amid the ruins of Bethlehem Steel, which is depressing to see what happened to this once mighty United States Company only to be replaced by a casino which produces NOTHING and only takes money from people who cant afford to throw away their hard earned dollars. As of this review Trans-Bridge Bus Co. charges twenty dollars for a round trip ticket from the Port Authority bus terminal in NYC, and the casino gives you $30 in slot play and an additional $30 if you show them your ID and a slot card from any other casino, which is a good deal for a first time visitor, of course they hope to get you hooked so you lose your money too. Trans-Bridge has nice new buses with seat belts, unfortunately the bus back to NYC from Bethlehem was 35 minutes late leaving and the bus only had 11 people on a Sunday night. The casino is actually only HALF finished, and there is no hotel built yet. They obviously were in a rush to get this place up and running to separate the suckers from their money. For those of you who follow LVS stock I dont think this place will help the stock that much because the place wasnt that crowded, but then what casino is crowded in this economy ? It doesnt have a buffet but it has a food Court and a steak house restaurant with reasonable prices. If you dont already know this casino is SLOTS ONLY, no table games, as far as I know its illegal to have table games at this time in the jurisdiction of Pennsylvania. As someone else wrote they have all the entrances roped off so you can only go into a narrow entrance, I think they are really afraid of letting underage people in. In Vegas, Reno, and Atlantic City, Security is much more discrete. This casino will only take Pennsylvania customers away from Atlantic City who now dont have to travel as far to AC. But AC has classier casinos and Vegas beats them all. In closing I would say if you want to see it once just to see it go ahead but believe me you wont want to go back a second time. And the place is understaffed as someone also wrote.

I went to the Sands for the first time on a Saturday night. We pulled into the parking garage and were immediately making fun of the layout, as it proved very difficult to navigate. But, we were able to find parking pretty close. Upon entering the casino, we were greeted by 5 security guards. It appears they are very strict about carding people and making sure youre not bringing in anything youre not supposed to. My friend signed up for poker right away, where he was put on a 47 person wait list for 1-2 no limit, and a 7 person wait list for 3-6 limit. After an hour, he got on 3-6, and an hour and a half after that, he got on 1-2. I was left waiting an hour to get on a black jack table, despite the fact there were probably 10 unmanned tables behind me. Once I finally got on the table, I was greeted by a very bad dealer. He did not speak very much English, and had to be corrected on his math almost every other hand. The drinks did not come quickly. I would say the waitress showed up every half hour, but was only available to get you a drink 1 out of 2 times she showed up. At this point youre probably thinking Im just bitter because I went to a casino and lost money. However, I was quite successful gambling. The experience itself left a lot to be desired though. I hate NJ more than just about anyone, but I would say that the Sands is not in the same league as the AC casinos. It is nice that it is more convenient if youre from the area. The facility is nice enough. Fairly clean (as far as casinos go). But, it still seems like they havent gotten a handle on how to run this properly yet.

I had gone to Sands Casino and Resort for my 20th birthday with my family. First impression, PA is...flat. We self-parked in the parking garage and walked towards the elevators. When I stepped into the actual casino, it was aesthetically pleasing for the eyes. However, since I am not 21, we needed a security guard to walk me through the casino floor. Sands Casino/Resort has a food court and some outlet stores. In order to reach those, however, you need to walk through the casino floor, if you self-parked in the parking garages. Check-in is at 3 PM. However, we were allowed to check-in at 2:30 PM, since we brought my baby nephew. Checking into the room, the room was very modern and pleasing to the eye. One thing, BRING TOOTHPASTE!!! The hotel does not have toothpaste. They, however, have pre-packaged individual toothbrush with toothpaste. Meaning, you need to open a fresh new package everytime that you wanted to brush your teeth. Moving on, the gym and pool is quite small. The gym has a few treadmills, stairmaster, dumbells, etc... The pool was quite disappointing. Its a very small pool and it kind of smelled disgusting on the first day that I went. I didnt bother going into the pool because of the smell. I opted to go tanning on the outside patio that is connected with the pool. That at least was not that bad. The employees were very friendly. The maid that cleaned out room was amazingly sweet and the wait staff was great too. Overall, it was an okay experience. I do not have an interest in gambling, I jsut went to spend my birthday with family.

Very nice and new casino in a nicer area then you would see a casino, mayor of las vegas should be fired btw. Some of the restaurants are expensive and some are priced right. Buddys was expensive and the food was not the greatest. After my wife and I ate there we found out he was the boss of cake and we then understood why the food was not that good. Does cake really need a boss and who made him the boss of cake ;) Emaralds Italian Table was the best, they changed it to The Fish House which was good but not as good as The Italian Table. The smoking is out of control in casino, honistly it is the year 2016 and there is no need to smoke, so stupid. The ventilation is ok on non smoking side but get ready for some second hand smoke in the elevators. We dont gamble so was not a big deal and the restaurants and mall have clean air. Shopping in the mall is nice and believe it or not it is priced right and not too expensive. It is always fun buying a few dresses for my wife, I love watching her slim body try to find a dress to pack her huge natural boobs in, all the natural huge up top girls know what I am on about and so do their husbands. And at the mall there it was possible because the dresses were priced right. YES Mrs. Galager my 5th grade teacher I did start one of my sentences with and! Visit the Sands in Bethlehem PA, very close and unlike other casinos very safe and inexpensive to visit.
