Wow, what has happened to this place. As of Sept 2012, half of the fairways are weeds, the rough is hard pan, and every hole needs a chainsaw to trim back some trees. A couple of years ago maintenance started to let some of the fairway grass grow up to become "rough", so in some holes you have fairways that pinch down to 5 yards, and on the 2nd hole the fairway just ends. The City of Royal Oak needs to get their act together, and change management companies for this place.

This place is a Dump! It has gotten worse every year. They charge $28 for 9 holes? I wouldnt pay $10! The fairways are so bad! The weeds are the fairway! If you dont have weeds you have dirt. It too bad, use to be nice. I play a lot of golf and I would say this is got to be the worse course this side of 8 mile! Normandy Oaks isnt any better! They might as well sell it and put it a shopping center!

This was the worst golf experience Ive had in a while. I paid $28 for nine holes with a cart (as a non-resident), and I have no idea whre the money I paid goes. You cant differentiate between the rough and the fairway as the grass was very long, and unkempt. I might as well have played my round in a field with greens cut into it. I would not recommend this one.

The management of this place is terrible, They are rude, ignorant, and go out of their way to waste peoples time. The management company should be thrown out and a replacement found immediately. The course is in average to poor condition, I will never go back unless management changes are made.

Similar to its neighbor, Normandy Oaks, but more trees and more hazards make it more difficult. Fairways are in better condtion than Normandy, and the ground is usually softer and more forgiving. Greens are often very difficult to read properly, and are in beautiful condition.

Played there on a Sunday , it was $19 for 9 with a cart, course is in very good condition, staff is friendly and is now my go to course, so that guy who said put up a shopping center.... Really, you must be sic

Small course, you can easily walk. A lot of walkers can easily create back up at holes. Not really well maintained. Grass a tad long for some shots. Reasonable green fee, you get what you pay for.

Course in not picked up...Tree branches everywhere. Greens are shag carpet, water does not drain...No general maintanance
