I really enjoy this course. I think this course is built on a trash dump which can lead to the odd smell here and there, but the conditions here are usually really good. I think Troy people must not know how to fix a ball mark since I seem to be able to fix 3 fresh ones any time Im on a green. Could just be a ton of traffic through, but pace seems to be managed well enough. Definitely recommend riding a cart as there is a steep hill starting and between the 9s. And a couple long walks between holes. There is a full size driving range here and a short game area.

Fun short course in the city. 8 am tee time on a Monday. 1 golfer for $25 on Golfnow. Round time 2 hours 45 minutes. Loved the 1st and 10th elevated tee boxes. The course maintenance is what holds this course back. The grass is cut very well and I had a great time playing, but they dont seem to know how to fix divots. The tee boxes and fairways are covered with holes, but Ill be back because its close to my house and has a fair price.

Course seems kept up well. The fairways were nice. A few blind tee shots. The layout is a little weird with having to travel a long way between a few holes so cart path are a little confusing. My only real complaint is the greens seem to have a lot of ball marks that were not repaired properly and/or filled with sand. Speed seemed consistent across all greens.

Played for first time last weekend with girlfriend. Course was in good shape and greens rolled true. Its not a high end course but well taken care of. Starter was friendly and gave directions for first time. Only wish the ranger was out more keeping people honest where they are driving and pace. Will be coming back.

Played here on a Sunday (late morning) as a foursome. Nice course with fair rates; thought the ranger could have done more to enforce pace of play and that the greens could have been better maintained. With the advent of sites that offer discounted rates at nicer courses, I think this course gas

They double book tee times and the course was backed up. Only finished 6/9 holes in 2+ hours. VERY slow pace of play. Waiting after every shot. Tee time was scheduled several days in advance. Very disappointed. Currently a 12 HCP golfer.

Love the course. Interesting layout, greens are nice. Pace of play has always been good for me. Once in a while you get tricked up on a nice afternoon if too many people play hooky from work, but thats the case on most public courses.

Played in December, so the course wasnt perfect, but hey, it was December golf in Michigan! The course has some nice rolling hills, a few blind shots, and tee locations for all handicap levels. Cant wait to come back in the summer.

Greens are like carpet and nobody fixes ball marks. Not one ranger on course. Took my girlfriend and i one hole to catch up to the group in front of us then waited every shot. 2 hours to play 5 holes, no thanks not going back.

Built on a garbage dump. City owns the course but outsources the management. Greens are small and the layout is weird. Usually higher than most courses. Sylvan Glen, the other city course (they have 2 ??) is a better value.

Golf was clogged up and the Ranger yelled at us for just making it to tee time and we didnt get to join with other 2some right in front of us. There was a 15 minute wait at the next tee that we joined them at.

Sister course has horrible customer service and does not answer emails. Sylvan Glen. Kevin is the biggest two face ever. Tells you you can do one thing and turns his back and says something totally different.

Horrible, slow play dominates. They may consider adding clocks on the course (similar to Pine Trace). This may assist the rangers in doing the job they are hired to do. 5 to 5 ½ hour every time, ridiculous!

they need a new ball machine for the driving range. tired of the range closing for something so stupid! if its broken, how about you fill up buckets and hand it to us at the counter?

Great golf course! Definitely and amazing place to learn golf! As far as Im concerned, this is one of the best golf courses Ive been to! I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Terrible. Miss the green by a foot and your ball is gone. Pin placements in the hardest position possible. Its always like that. No sand on tee boxes or carts.

Nice course, great place for a lesson for anyone, they have a nice program for kids too. The staff has been very nice every time we have been there.

They are ripping people off charging 37..00 on Sunday morning in November, greens were not great and traps were a mess with no rakes, shame on them

Good municipal course with driving range and putting great. But on a garbage hill, pretty open with long grass to deal with.
