Time to let it all out. Im pretty sure any mention of good condition of this course are either fake or theyre reviewing the wrong course, or this is the only course theyve EVER played. I played on a league here for 20+ years, and in the last 5 the course has never been in worse condition. 2014 takes the cake, however, and Ive quit the league because this is absolutely, bar none, the worst conditioned course Ive EVER played. Im sure Ive played over 150 courses, from high end to dinky par 3s. This is *the*worst*. Cups which are changed maybe once a week, cup liners which are against USGA regulation which go to the surface of the green and shrink the hole, and in 2014, featuring the ice damaged greens combined with never cutting or rolling them (rolling? whats that?). You might as well be putting on a dirt road. Im not exaggerating at all. Look, if you want to waste your money here, feel free, but with about 20-30 courses within 30 minutes of this place, youre making a huge mistake. Head to Pine Trace, Royal Oak GC (which has improved greatly in 2014) or Fieldstone, who also had a couple of damaged greens but the rest are fine, if you want something in the vicinity. Add to the mix other GREAT courses such as Orchard, Shepherds, Cherry Creek, and youre nuts to spend a nickle here. On top of that, where did they hire their crude cart girl on Mondays this year? This chick should be fired immediately. Ive never seen a more pushy rude chick in my life, not to mention someone who is trying to sell overpriced $4 beers (theyre $2 on Mondays after your round!). Chick need an attitude adjustment. Billy Casper golf, who took over this place a few years ago, should be ashamed they let their name on this piece of work. 1) Crap greens and fairways 2) Stupid pin positions, same spots week after week. It hasnt been in the lower section of #11 in 5 years. 3) overgrown trees 4) goose crap everywhere. 5) Bad starters and/or management. They rush you to hit when the group in front if 5 yards out of your range, which helps nothing but for you to wait on the next tee. Tee times are grouped way too close together. 6) Bad cart girl and drink prices.

Told front desk and Kevin (who assigns to golf carts) our group hasnt really played golf and that if anyone caught up to us we would let them play through. They said that was fine and would give others a heads up. They never have others a heads up and both golfers and Kevin got mad at my group. Threatened to kick us out of we didnt play the front 9 again and would not let us play the back 9. This place is not very friendly if you dont play there every week or golf all the time. I went to their website and sent an email (to what I thought would be to a manager.) Its been a couple days already and no response back from them.

We were denied access upon arriving because the call center in Chicago we made a tee time with wasnt aware of the pro-shop folks going home early. Course was widen open and had enough daylight to get 9 in, but only maintenance on staff, no one to take money. Called management later. They offered a 4 some with carts for free any time and were very sorry. Took them up on it, course was a good mix of hills, trees, prairie grass, and water. Greens in great shape. Liked 9 and 18 with the creek before the green that forced you to lay up or go for it. Will be back.

This is actually a pretty nice course that is reasonably priced. That being said, they dont allow you to make a tee time without providing credit card information. If one of your group cant make it they charge the card for the full amount of the persons round. This is a terrible policy in my opinion and I typically avoid this course as a consequence. Being the one who is usually setting tee times and organizing foursomes, Im not willing to have to pay if one of the group cant make it last minute for whatever reason.

Worst Golf course ever! Stuffs are very very rude! They always push us to play faster, but the problem is there are too many people!! Actually, most of time we are waiting for the group before us!!!!! Moreover, I paid online but they ask me to pay again!!! They are saying there are no online payment accepted. I looked at my receipt, it is even not my name!!! I have to call the online reservation service to talk to the front stuff and give my money back.!!!!!!!!

I visited this golf club twice. Everyrhing I have experience were good. Well maintained fairway and green. The staffs are polite and experienced. When I asked about kinds of green and fairway grass to the staff, The staff kindly gave me an answer. I also amazed the owners quick and sincere reply for the customers negative experiences. I think this golf club will be placed on the top in this area.

Was not given a rain check after the manager promised that a rain check would be issued if it rained during the round. Sirens went off forcing us to come in. Pro shop was locked. Called a couple days later and was hung up on when asking about the rain check. Poor internal communication and business practices. I will not be returning. Its a shame because it was a decent course.

Played this place and loved the course lay out and it was well kept. The only problem I had was with an ignorant starter! A guy named David Stanley was a completely rude jerk. Pretty much ruined the experience! Management should wake up I see numerous people that had trouble with the starters here its a shame a nice place like this has such people representing the course!

Well maintained for a very very busy public course. During peak hours pace of play can be somewhat of an issue. Reasonable rates if you look for the right times to play. No driving range here. Full restaurant and bar looks pretty popular, though never had more than a snack myself. I will continue to play here regularly. One of the better deals for the area.

Terrible...poorly managed course. If you want to play a 7 hour round play here as they exert no control over the pace of play or anything that happens out on course. Got a tee time? Who cares, well let people go out in front of you and blame it on being out of carts.

Challenging, but fair. Reasonably priced, especially if you walk. Can get crowded during prime hours, but pretty open early mornings and late afternoons on weekends. Leagues during the week. No practice range. Need to go to Sanctuary Lake for that (3 miles away).

I play this course about twice a month. Greens are in very good shape, rarely cart path only. Staff is great, allow carts in the lot for ease of loading and unloading. New this year... better beverage service on the course. Good experience overall.
