They let parents brieng their filthy Mexican children into rated R movies and then proceed to let the infants scream and cry thought the rest of the show. To add they dont give refunds under any circumstances so you pretty much have no other choice but to sit there and enjoy the squeals of the little swine. Dont bother asking for a refund because the management will tell you "in an absoloutley unprofessional rude toned and disrespectful way" that they do not give refunds and will not be switching your purchase to a different time and they are sorry for the inconvinence. Yes I quoted myself and to add on top of that they had the odacity to offer me the idea of buying another ticket to a later showing and leave the current movie with no refund. Hahahahahahaha I laugh at your face yakima cinema and the world will know how unprofessional, disorganized, rude, and disgusting your theatre is. If you enjoy stale popcorn, screaming babies, and terrible service I would highly recommend this theatre for you! Chow

Went here over Christmas to see the Hobbit while visiting friends. The first and last time me or any of my family will be going. They have a cute little sign that reads No Guns Allowed. They only search purses. My wife wouldnt let them look because they have no right to look or search. When the girl said we couldnt go in we asked for a refund. She laughed and said good luck. The manager said he was going to search her bag or else. My wife said bring on the or else. Since they didnt want to give us a refund we went in and found seats expecting the police to show up but they didnt. When we were leaving the manager and two of his best employees tried to keep us from leaving. What a joke. I feel sorry for the people of Yakima if this is the only place to see movies.

The popcorn is not very good and gives us a stomach ache every time we have eaten there. They dont take credit cards or checks, cash only; so make sure you stop at an atm before the theater otherwise you have to pay their $3 charge. The website is not very user friendly and does not specify which theater the movies are playing at (there are two movie theaters in yakima), so its kind of a guessing game on which theater to visit. The seating is tight, so if your a lil overweight make sure you sit next to someone skinny to be comfortable. I guess my family and I have just gotten used to the professionalism in tri-cities. If it wasnt for the fact I got free tickets from an auction I would have not returned back to yakima theaters.

I wouldnt recommend going to the theaters in Yakima if you have other options. The cinema in particular is staffed by rude people who glare at you if you try and say something to them. Theyre overpriced as well. The last time I attended a male staff member came in and interrupted my friend and I in the middle of the movie to ask for our tickets, as if we had someone snuck in. I was appalled. We showed him our tickets and he glared and left. Also, that entire time a female staff member was eyeing my friend and I as if we were up to something. There is something wrong with their staff when they think two teenage girls are up to something other than trying to watch a move- at the movie theater!

A Private User

The worst thing about seeing a film at this theater would have to be the lack of respect for the customer who is shelling out over $60 dollars to listen to a one year old talk and kick seats. I thought the best action was to inform the staff, so I did and I continued to listen to the kid throw fits. After the show I asked why no one came in and the informed me they came in twice and didnt see anything, Im not sure how you miss the only child in the theater and is playing right by the entrance. I pay for the experience, I could sit at home and watch it for free online with the same quality but I dont. I shouldnt have to pay for service that is poor and deceitful.

Not great. No card options. Oh wait, you can use their ripoff ATM. When you get past the deadeyed teenagers working the ticket counter, youre well into concessions territory. There you can chose from candy, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream, and of course popcorn. There is nothing healthy available. Except for a free cup FOR water. (you have to fill it yourself from the drinking fountain) Now its time to do what you came for, watch a movie. The savvy patron who has been a few times can tell you that you only want to see a movie playing on screen 9 or 10. (the "new" addition, with the faded mural of movies no one really remembers)

Terrible customer service, and horrid website. I tried to buy 7 tickets for a group, but you can only buy six at a time online, and when I went to buy my seventh, they were sold out. I called the manager and he said they dont give refunds in any circumstances. Also, one of our group was under 21 and there is no warning on the website besides the fine print on the very bottom of the page, after you scroll past more than a screens distance of blank space. Every business ought to stand behind their service. An outright refusal to offer refunds is lazy and unacceptable to me.

Went to a 12:10pm movie today. Arrived at 11:25am. Got in concession line at 11:48am. Got service 38 minutes later. I missed the first 26 minutes of the movie. I asked to speak to the manager and she said "Sorry, we are way understaffed." I told her I missed 26 minutes of the movie. She walked away. Terrible service!!! When I handed the popcorn tp her, she asked wheres the butter? I asked for butter. Again, Terrible service and no appreciation for the customer. We need another theater owner. Give the Mercy s competition.

This place shows movies on a big screen. It is pretty cool and the sound is awesome. This is NOT a place to take your baby!!! Especially the Tupac movie. I mean seriously???? Two babies at a Tupac movie??? There should be a sign. Maybe it could read, "Hey dumbass!! You decided to have a baby so you dont get to bring it to adult movies where it will cry and make others mad". The theater itself is great and the popcorn is tasty!!

This is probably my last time coming here. I use to come here all the time,but now it seems anywhere where they can get away with screwing the customer a bit more they try to. Tiny water cups now, no backpacks in the whole building so if you ride a motorcycle and usually wear a backpack youll be turned down service. Prices have about doubled in the past ten years. Im going to upgrade my TV and get a better experience at home.

Its a little odd that this place is cash only, but there is an ATM in the lobby so easy to get cash,2.50 transaction fee though. Decent movie theatre, clean, though the staff look like theyd rather be elsewhere, seats arent uncomfortable but could be better, as always popcorn is expensive but its what we come to expect at a movie theatre, prices in tickets arent bad, I think it was 8 bucks a person so Id go back.
