My cousin got us Club tickets for free beer and snacks when we got to the game. When we arrived we discovered that we could not drink because our IDs were not turned the correct way. It was firmly stated that it was the stadiums policy to not serve drinks to IDs not turned. This was very unfortunate to learn when we got to the game and not when we were buying the tickets, which ended up being a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. This definitely RUINED OUR EXPERIENCE for the rest of the game. IN ADDITION, we purchased front row seats, which were occupied when we got there. When we asked the couple and their kids to move they did not. Therefore we asked an employee standing in the bleacher to assist us, her answer was "Oh theyre Season Ticket holders" which I guess means they sit where they want, BUT IT WAS NO EXCUSE TO LEAVE THEM SITTING IN OUR SEATS that we specifically paid for. THE EMPLOYEE NEVER HELPED US MOVE THE FAMILY, we got the family to move ourselves. All in All, I would have to say I really DID NOT ENJOY my experience at Cheney Stadium, and I most likely WILL NEVER GO BACK, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO GO HERE.

POOR service, RUDE management. We got 8 club level tickets to watch a game and have a good time. Upon getting checked in and bracelets for drinking I was informed that my "vertical license" wasnt accepted...weird its accepts everywhere else in the world. I have looked through their T&Cs and there was no mention of this rule. I asked to speak to a manager and a supervisor came to speak with me. He was Extremely rude and unwilling to help even though I HAD A VALID LICENSE. We were told multiple lies during the whole ordeal and I ended having to drive all the way home to get my passport. When I returned it turns out they called the police to have me escorted from the building...why I do not know I was cool and collected the whole time. I definitely will not be returning and I will tell all my friends and family to do the same. Very unprofessional, dont expect to receive service that is good when you go here, and dont expect a refund even when they have messed up.

I went to the game last night. The line for cars to enter the parking lot extended well out onto 19th. I waited in that line for a half hour and when I got close to the lot entrance they closed the parking lot. No one offered any alternative parking.. they just waved us on. I had to park across the freeway in a park and ride lot and walk back. When I walked back to the stadium through the closed parking lot, there had to be at least one hundred open parking spots, presumably saved for the club level seats. My guess is the stadium was maybe 2/3 full. I would hate to see what happens to the parking situation with a full house. I didnt get to my seat until the 3rd inning. Management needs to do a better job helping people get to parking spots in a timely manner.

Great staduim! Great choice of beers & liquor. I have one Major complaint. I was seated in the upper deck above the outfield for a special event. We did not have beer available that we wanted to drink, so we had to walk down 2 flights of stairs and walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the bar. Then, after we purchased the beer we were not allowed to leave the bar area and take it to where our party was. Bummer. Really missed out on enjoying the group experience. Also, no bathroom was available in the bar area and you cannot leave with an alcoholic beverage. Additionally, there is no restroom up in the upper deck above the outfield. Had to walk 2 flights down every time to go to the restroom. Poor logistics!

This is a wonderful place to take the family, have a guys or gals night, party, or just simply watch a game of baseball! The updated stadium is amazing the ticket prices are nothing relative to the MLB options in the region. The food is priced reasonably once inside. They have all kinds of ticket options and their Summit Club packages come with amazing perks like bottomless beers through the 6th inning. You cant go wrong catching a game here. It doesnt matter if youve lived in tacoma your whole life or are just visiting Cheney Stadium is a Tacoma must Friday night games end in fireworks so keep that in mind when your looking for tickets!

A great place to watch baseball without having to go to downtown Seattle. This is the stadium of the Mariners top minor league affiliate, the Tacoma Rainiers. This means there is always the chance of seeing current Mariners who may be down on rehab assignments. The stadium is beautiful but doesnt have much covered area in case of rain. The largest downside to seeing a game here is the lack of parking. If you arent there early, you have to risk parking away from the stadium in places where you might get towed.

Host an event here!! The Marketing & Sales staff is amazing to work with. The party decks and other options for groups are fun, reasonable, and make for great outings. SO much better than trying to get into Seattle, the parking fees, the ticket fees, the utter sense of hopelessness....Go to a Rainiers game instead! The players are still young enough to care about trying, the beer is cheaper, the hot dogs taste better, and parking is easy!

This stadium is old and is in need of some sort of reviving factor. Even though "stadium food" is known for its mediocre quality and drastically high prices, its a disappointment to see it here. The seats are made of green plastic, and a majority of the stadium is uncovered. On a sunny day, its nice to have the presence of the sun on your face while watching a game. Otherwise, be prepared to bring a towel, jacket, or both.

Sunday May 20th...arrived at 1:05 via the main gate. Was told to park outside the main parking lot, and to park on the curb. Please pay us $10. As we walked into the parking lot we counted a number of parking stalls that were empty. I call today to complain about this, they dont care, for they got there $10 for being lazy to accommodate the fans. Fan of the team yes, the staff no way. Fire them!!!

Fireworks Night Fri. Was awesome, saw a 10th inning come back , walk off sacrifice win! Which wouldnt have happened without a bottom of the 9th two out steal, that turned into a error tying , play at the plate! Cool that it was my 10 year old daughters first baseball game. She wants to come back. Nice! Remodeled Cheney Stadium was also cool too see for the first time. Well be back Boys ! Good Show!

Awesome place to watch a baseball game..... although..... The music is WAY outdated. Its almost as if they are stuck in the 60s when you enter through the doors. Food Prices are WAY overpriced for a local Tacoma game. Parking is horrendous. WHERE IS RHUBARB? I remember coming here years ago and Rhu was ALWAYS around the fans. Now he disappears for innings at a time... Awesome friendly staff

We use the dugout club seats when my husbands customers arent using them & they are awesome. How can u say anything bad about free dinner and beer! Although the free food isnt always that great you can always find something good to eat. Ivars is delicious and if u even slightly like hotdogs, Redhots, a local Tacoma bar invited in, will make u crave their hotdogs once u try them!
