We tried to make a reservation for a large group and were told we had to have a $440 minimum and we couldnt bring one child to a dinner at 7 at night! Ive heard of gratuities for large groups, but a minimum amount on an order? It would have worked out to over $44 per person which is pretty ridiculous considering thatd equal out to about two entrees plus several drinks per person. Obviously, this place thinks a little too highly of itself if they think its only worth it to serve a large group if they overcharge them.

At one time, this was one of our "hidden" gems. Now its just a gem. The people have found what my wife and I already know. Great drinks, fantastic Happy Hour appetizers and friendly service define this spot on 1st street in Albany, OR. Now offering outdoor seating to highlight the great weather we are experiencing in the Willamette Valley to compliment a cozy indoor dining room. This place just keeps on impressing us. We always look forward to a trip to Albany because we know it means a stop here.

Warning: Im a food snob who loves to cook and dine out. Ordered: the Caesar salad, the scallops and risotto, the salmon, and the apple tart For the price, the entrees were just okay. The ingredients were fresh and the technique was good. However, the balance of flavors and textures was lacking. Service and atmosphere was great. Took a very long time for our salads to be brought out.

Im now that guy that eats dinner at the bar alone. Lucky for me though I met Bud. A 92 year old prior baseball player and golf pro. We had a hoot! He was on point and knockn back what I think were vodka tonics...... Underwhelmed. Lots of hype but I guess later on a Monday night wasnt the time to go. Warm spinach salad wasnt warm at all. Butternut squash cannelloni was rubbery so made well prior to our arrival and topped with a Bolognese style sauce that masked everything and was all you could taste. Nice people, good service but the food was disappointing

Excellent food, price matches quality. Very clean place. Incredibly stuck up and rude waiter. Not sure if he thought hes working at an upscale place in New York, or just generally unhappy with himself. Very snobby and rude. If not for the incredibly negative experience with the waiter, 5 stars. Wish I remembered his name.

We went for happy hour for our anniversary. The food was great with a great price and the drinks were excellent quality. The atmosphere was perfect. The only complaint that I had is that the older blonde waitress was EXTREMELY rude. Thankfully a new waiter came, Vinny, and he made our visit wondrrful.

Nice atmosphere and really professional staff. I didnt eat there as I was mainly there for their liquor selection. My bartender was great, legit whisky selection, darn good traditional cocktails. I will definitely return to try their food, I really want to try their potato gnocchi and brussel sprouts.

Food is beyond delicious with good variety and a good place for tapas. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is usually good. Weve been here only once where our waitress was very rude and not attentive. Other then that experience though it has been wonderful and one of our favorites.

Vault 244 has amazing drinks and food but be prepared to spend a pretty penny for that quality. We have never been disappointed with a single thing we have ordered but wow the bill can be an eye opener! We usually start the evening off at Vault have one or two drinks then move on.

Wonderful food. Had the Halibut and it was cooked perfectly. The textures and flavors with the mango salsa were absolutely wonderful. A bit pricey, but the service, food and ambience made it well worth the price for that special evening.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Our waitress Camille was absolutely amazing! This is my favorite spot to sit and visit with friends. Great food and the drink selection is out of this world. Definitely would recommend.

This is the best place in the mid- valley to have a classy dinner. Service is excellent, food is excellent, drinks are awesome, and atmosphere is amazing. Whether you sit inside or outside its all great!

took over 20mins to get two drinks, customer service left a lot to be desired. if your hungry or thirsty dont go to the vault. ambiance is good and im glad it was because of the wait, never going again!!

If you are looking for a place to have a nice dinner or just get some cocktails, this is the place to do it in Albany. Everything on the small plates menu is delicious and their steak is fantastic!

We come here from time to time. The drinks are great. The food is hit and miss, but usually good. There is a little too much inconsistency between visits, when ordering the same items off the menu.

Great atmosphere, expensive fare. My steak medallions and baguette equaled about 3 oz of steak and 4 large croutons. Flavor was good, but portions should have been doubled. Drinks were very good.

Interesting, upscale restaurant in the middle of a downtown in desperate need of an identity. Good drink menu and happy hour choices. The pommes frites and the spinach dip were good.

This is a refreshing oasis of class & quality. The happy hour menu & prices are hard to beat. The service was superb. I especially recommend the mole steak tacos & Caesar salad.

The bartenders knowledge of drinks is very vast. The head chef is quite talented. The food is quality enough to be in a nice restaurant in the Pearl District.

Always have had good food and service. Albanys best restaurant. Very creative drinks and a unique atmosphere. Its really nice having the vault here.
