Update to my review and removal of 2 stars: I arrived at 5:05pm, not realizing they closed at 5pm. There was no closed sign and the door was not locked. Google had the closing time listed as 6pm. My friends and I arrived, expecting to make a large purchase since we arent sure when well be back in the area. The girls behind the counter say, is there something we can help you find. I reply, no we are looking around for now. She says well we closed at 5, so.....I say, oh, the website says 6pm. She says yeah, its wrong, we close at 6 starting in March. They stand there looking at us, as to pressure us out the door. Five minutes after closing time, we already have items in our hands, and they want to push paying customers out the door. They dont ask if were local, suggest us to return, or even recommend products we might like. They stand there waiting. I purchased what I had in my hands and my friends decide not to purchase anything. Three days away from March, 5 minutes after closing time, customers from out of the area, and they cant offer generous customer service or extend their time to our needs. Our purchases would have more than covered their time for staying there after 5pm. Ive always felt their products were high quality. Not sure Ill return. I dont appreciate how we were treated.~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ive purchased their items at the Harrisonburg downtown farmers market. High quality products. Fresh, strong, pure lavender. Finally made it to the farm itself. What an amazing place. So much beauty, even though its right on the road. You smell the lavender as soon as you exit your vehicle. You can relax on the porch or in the gazebo. Walk around the grounds. Say hi to the horses. Theres wine tasting, but I did not visit this. The store offers a nice variety of lavender products. Staff acknowledged us as soon as we entered and offered help. Very pleasant. Some things are expensive, others are reasonably priced. They allow you to sample their food products before purchasing. Vinegar, oil, coffee, sugar, salt. I absolutely LOVE the lavender balsamic vinegar. Their oils are high quality and that explains the higher cost. Work great for sleep, anxiety, headaches. I also really like the linen and room spray. Such a great scent. I missed the season for purchasing lavender plants. Will hopefully return. Would love to see all the plants in bloom and take one home.

My wife and I stopped here during our wine tour of the valley on a suggestion from a couple we met at another winery. The winery is part of the farm, but goes under the name The Purple Wolf. We went there a bit early, in fact when the lavender store opened not the winery, but still they were more than happy to give us a tasting. Everyone involved was incredibly helpful and friendly, and it was a very different experience being there. The store was very pretty and relaxing, and all the product my wife bought for herself and her mother has gone over very well. Lavender Olive Oil was very interesting to use at home. As for the wine, it was a very welcome change from so many others that weve tried. Their incredibly unique twists had us hoping theyd be expanding and traveling in the area more! If youre in the valley and checking out wineries, it is absolutely recommended to come see them.

A favorite local spot to spend the afternoon or visit while traveling. A beautiful retreat with views of the surrounding blue ridge mountains and massanutten peak. The lavender makes for great photo opportunities, and during the summer you can pick/harvest some yourself. The explore area costs a small fee, but you can pet rabbits, watch chickens roam freely, sit and watch ducks and ducklings in the pond, walk a labrinth, lounge in swings, see the turkeys and other animals, etc. For the adults, there is a wine bar with incredible wines made by Randy Phillips. There are Virginia favorites such as Cabernet Franc, and then more unique offerings such as a Chambourcin infused with lavender (trust me, it works). Be sure to leave enough time to stay a while and relax!

My wife and I began with the lavender ice cream, her trying the pumpkin and myself with the blueberry, and both were delightful. When eating the ice cream slowly the lavender pieces are quite noticeable, so be sure to swallow them quickly to prevent an overwhelming taste. The wine was nice, but the wines at Cross Keys vineyard are a step above. The lavender infused wines are interesting, but unless that is the only thing you are interested in then they arent much worth your time. The ice cream, though, was worth the trip.

Nice find! I love lavender and wine, this quaint place had both! Originally a lavender farm, they just started making wine, so only have a few to offer right now, but they have plans to offer more in the future. Anything made from lavender can be found here. Soaps, skin care, essential oils and lotions, as well as ice cream, tea, basalmic vinegars and cooking oils. I loved the lavender syrup drops added to a red wine. I will be sure to stop in again when I return to the area.

My mom and i visited here on our way north and absolutely loved it! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the lavender ice cream was the perfect end to our visit. I definitely recommend going early (we were there at 10), bc i heard that when families and kids arrive it can get a little hectic and noisy. It was also getting pretty hot by the time we left.

This was a lot of fun. It was something my wife dragged me to. A lavender farm? Small area to pet farm animals. Some pretty views. There was a winery and a gift shop. Great place to knock out some Christmas gifts. The smells were pretty good too, although, if youre a guy, youre stuck in a room full of lavender with your wife asking you, "Ooh, how does this one smell?"

Amazing stop that we happened upon visiting another store with their products. We decided their farm was on route to next destination so lets visit. Did wine tasting, walked the grounds, including a meditation labyrinth, shopped...perfect stop on summer afternoon. Worth the visit. We were told gardens are in full bloom June and July.

This place was the highlight of our road trip. Adults will enjoy the lavender farm and wine tasting while children can roam free on their farm ($3 for each adult) and see the animals. Try the 10 wine for $10 and enjoy the live music in a relaxing atmosphere. We will come back for another visit.

Decent place. 3 dollars for the self guided tour which is just walking around their nicely decorated grounds. Merchandise is expensive but the ice cream is worth a try at $3 a cup. Its good for families with kids because of the animals. Note: animals will not be out and about on hot days.

A great place overall! The farm was beautiful and all the games and activities were so cute. There were lots of animals to pet.. The shop was unique and creative and VERY relaxing. Really good ice cream too!
