I have been to Melrose Caverns for an event and it is a gorgeous unique venue. The grand historic ballroom has so much character with a wrap around balcony inside and two giant stone fireplaces. It is located on beautiful farmland with a picturesque old farm house. What really makes this place stand out from other venues is the amazing cave that can be accessed through the ballroom. It has carvings from civil war soldiers on the cave walls! And I hear the cave will be available for public tours in the near future!

I was impressed! The space is lovely--the wrap-around balcony is really wonderful. The surrounding farmland is beautiful as well. There is a stone bridge leading up to the venue which seems perfect for pictures, etc. The best part is the cave attached to the ballroom! You can go in and actually explore the amazing, sprawling caverns. Civil war vets carved their names into the walls, etc. definitely would recommend!
