The movie theater itself is not so bad, But the people who attended it ruined it completely. I went twice, and each time some angry person decided to sit right behind me and kick my seat repeatedly for the entire movie. I asked them to stop but they completely ignored me, they just wanted to pick a fight. Doesnt sound like such a big deal but some jerk kicking you for a hour and half gets tiring quick.

Not sure what theatre those people with the bad reviews were at, but this theatre is hands down the best in the area.....always clean, always great personnel. Hubbie and I go almost every week and its a great place to take the grandkids. I have NEVER seen it trashed and NEVER had a bad experience with the people or popcorn. GO THERE....YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Terrible service, everyone seems to be full of themselves. Theater is always trashed and i can never find help when i need it. Concessions area almost always abandoned. I always go to Frank Theater now because its much cleaner and more well mannered, even if it is a bit more of a drive for me. DO NOT GO HERE.

I love to go to this theater. Cant say enough about the staff. They were very helpful when I thought i lost my ring. And they could not have been nicer. I like it because it is clean and comfortable and prices are reasonable. Close to home and you dont have to drive through the crazy traffic in Frederick.

Decided to take in a movie while we were in town to give my teenager a break from the Civil War. Google Maps describes it as a cinema that shows Civil War-themed films, but they have first-run films as well. Not very crowded, but good sound and picture. Reasonably priced, too.

I LOVE going to this theater. Very low key and almost always empty for whatever movie you want to see. Great value. I have never had a problem with getting to the theater at a reasonable time and finding a seat that I want. Always have the most up to date offerings.

My personal favorite movie theatre. Best ticket prices and also has true stadium seating. Im relatively short in height so I often can have problems seeing the screen when people sit in front of me but never here. They also have the most comfortable seats.

For such a small theater, I wasnt expecting it to be as nice as it was. It wasnt expensive either. The seats recline and the arm rest comes up....Extra points because now I get brownie points for cuddling during the movie. Wish it was in my back yard.

The stadium seating is comfortable and make a sure you have a clear view of the screen. The building is clean ams great location to meet up with friends. Depending on when you go, you may be one of 10+- people in the theater. Great projectors and sound.

Freshly popped popcorn was still cold (literally watched it being popped). Speakers on left side of theater were far louder than right, dunno if it was a defect or the movie but was a little jarring as my wife and i were sitting in the direct center.

I drive a little out of my way to come to this theater. Very clean atmosphere and never seems to be over crowded. The popcorn has always been fresh when I go which is a big plus for me. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.

They only show new movies for a short period of time. We like to wait to see a movie to avoid a packed theater. The movie we want to see came out 3 weeks ago and its no longer showing, so we will go to another theater to see it.

Between the 2 theaters in Gettysburg this is the one to go to! Great prices ($5 Tuesday is great!), comfy seating, and most theaters have quite large screens (a few smaller) which overall makes this the best theater around!
