I went to Regal Cinema in Hunt Valley to watch star trek on Friday, May 8 2009. I selected the 9:30 showtime since it was a DLP showing, I knew I was going to get a stunning picture quality. However viewing the screen, there was a rectangular abnormality in the center of the screen, which became glaringly apparent during dark scenes. It was about the size of a door, and kinda had a 3 dimensional look to it, like a jewel. Very distracting during the many dark scenes in the movie. Also important to note, there was very audible hissing/buzzing sound from the center speakers, very noticeable during quieter scenes. From where I was sitting it had a similar sound and noise level as listening to my microwave operate in my kitchen, so you could hear it during normal movie dialog and it was distracting during quiet moments. These were both glaring defects, completely unacceptable, and should have been detected and fixed before the movie started. Besides those glaring defects, this was a typical average cinema experience, and probably would have given it 3 stars. No stadium seating (The other review says stadium seating - but its not, muvico arundel mills has stadium seating. However its elevated somewhat and I had no issue seeing over the person in front of me). the chairs were ok (though arm rests dont retract) with acceptable leg room, the sound quality was slightly below average, poor definition of voices (maybe had something to do with the hissing of the centers - bad connection?). Besides the glaring screen abnormality the DLP picture quality was superb. The cleanliness was pleasantly acceptable. The best part though was the audience around me was well behaved, nobody shouted at the screen or made obnoxious phone calls! Luck of the draw I guess, the theater doesnt have much control over that.

My sister and I went with a group of friends, there were 12 of us all together, and saw Peeples tonight. It was raining and the movie had just finished. So we went out of the movie theater itself and walked over to the small arcade area to wait for our rides and play a few arcade games. about 5 mins after that the manager walked over and said what are you here for very rudely. Meanwhile we were only talking quietly and my friend Shawn was trying to win a stuffed animal for his girlfriend. So we replied we were here to see a movie. So the manage said well let me see you tickets. So we all pulled out our tickets and he snatched my ticket out of my hand and said this movie just ended you need to leave. We all probally just blew close to 200$ in there with tickets, popcorn, soda, and arcade games! Really? Whatever! DONT GO TO THIS THEATER! GO TO WHITE MARSH! GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT MANAGERS ESPECIALLY!!!!!

I took my daughter there for here birthday yesterday and we had the worst experience ever. First of all the check in was excellent it was the food part that was unsatisfactory. I ordered 6 chicken strips and 3 chicken strips both with the waffle fries the cashier ask if I wanted a combo I said sure come to find out I have to pay $5.47 for the medium soda why should I if its a combo. The cashier Leona overcharged me at first until I said something to her about , so she did it again, however the second time she was very rude I spoke with the manager Dwight he was no help either. I pay my bill which was $25.81 I put the money in her hand when it was time for her to return my change she put my receipt on the counter and dropped my coins in my hand like she didnt want to touch an African American skin, and she then stomped away. I felt like she discriminated towards me and very disrespectful.

had a terrible experience with an extremely rude manager this weekend. I went to go see Deadpool with a friend and my 16 yr. old sister, for reference I am 22 and she should be allowed in with me. Turned away at the door with a citation of "corporate policy that minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian". Had this genuinely been corporate policy I would not be upset, however after driving all the way home and checking, I discovered it in fact is not corporate policy. When I called, another manager attempted to insist to me that this was state law, but again I know this to be false. IN order for someone to be accompanied into an R-Rated film under 17, they must be with someone 21 or older. Regals policy is, again, that to purchase multiple tickets a person must be above 21, not that they be a parent or guardian. I will not be returning.

Unfortunately we walked into a violent and aggressive atmosphere between a white older man and a black woman and her son. The man seemed to be at fault but the manager failed to remove them from the area allowing them to cause a very unsafe feeling atmosphere. When the cops arrived the first thing they did was escort them out from public view which is what should have happened in the first place. We paid good money for these tickets and honestly the 3D quality was terrible almost as if there were no 3D at all. We were in theater #5. I dont know if the screen was dirty or if the projector was not working correctly. I would have asked for a refund but as we left the remaining employees just wanted us out so they could clean so I didnt bother, hence why Im leaving this review.

Its a bit hit-or-miss with the staff - some are SO friendly and SO helpful, and others, you can almost see the clocks in their eyes, counting down until their shift is over. The theaters are usually clean, and overall its pretty quiet there, which I enjoy. I go here consistently and havent had any issues to speak of, just the usual "I hate my job" employee, but weve all been there. The bathrooms tend to be a bit messier, but I dont have high standards for movie theater bathrooms, so I dont mind at all.

The theaters were average but the manager is what made me leave a review. We were sold the wrong ticket at arrival and didnt notice until after the movie began. We had already started eating our popcorn, snacks and soda. I didnt have it in me to start the whole process again. So I went for the refund. The manager was very, very nice about the whole situation. He made the refund process quick and easy. Besides the rookie that sold us the wrong ticket the rest of the staff was very good.

I had the worst experience in the world. I was enjoying the movie, Wish Upon. and a popcorn cleaning, slushy cup picking up, Butterfinger box picking female came up on my sister to tell her she was recording. Really? Really, really recording. So when u get a notification and the flash on an iPhone goes off you are now recording. Talked to a manger and got no where. No problem I will just go to Wegmans in Hunt Valley not ever Regal Cinemas again.

This place is always filthy. I have been here three time now and every time there is popcorn all over the floor, trash cans over flowing and in the theater there is trash under the seats. This is supposed to be a big money area but yet the movie theater does not represent this. Left feeling g discussed that I spent 50 plus dollars to take my kids there to see a movie. The only thing that was clean was the bathrooms.
