My husband and I just went to see "5 Carols" and "Jingle Jacks" Saturday night at CenterPoint Theater in Centerville. It was a delightful experience. Some of the music was original and some was based on traditional Christmas melodies. Either way, the songs were fun, funny, and also beautiful and spirited. The actors and singers were top notch. This production is double cast, but I am sure the other cast members are as talented as the ones we saw on Saturday. Jingle Jacks might appeal to a younger audience while the 5 Carols, set in the 50s might be aimed at those of us who lived through that time period. But anyone of any age would have a great, but intimate theatrical experience. The number about decorating your bomb shelter for Christmas was absolutely more clever and more unique than anything I have heard. The beautiful Celtic (?) number at the beginning of Jingle Jacks was almost too pristine and lovely to take place in a log cabin. Be prepared to enjoy a varied musical smorgasbord. I for one, would like to see this production done at Christmas Time somewhere in Salt Lake or Utah Counties every year. It is a gem.

We took guests to CenterPoint last night (14 Mar) and could not pass up the opportunity to compliment you on the performance of The Sound of Music!. We have been season ticket-holders for some time now and really enjoy your productions. In my book, last nights performance was one or your very best!! I thought that Fiddler was really, really good but last nights production of the Sound of Music was truly exceptional. When we heard the list of actor substitutions, I was a little worried. Would everything become a little disjointed? But Not to Worry. The actors fit their characters sooo well, especially Maria! That role was a great fit for a great voice and great acting. Many of the characters were so well done (including the children and the nuns) and we enjoyed becoming part of the play, singing Eidelweiss right along with Capt Von Trapp and Maria. As usual, your crews succeeded magically well with scenery, props and lighting. We are glad to be season ticket holders. Thanks for a great evening!

CenterPoint Legacy Theater is quality, quality, quality. They set the bar extremely high: the facility is amazing, the actors and actresses are of the highest local talent level, costumes, sets, and props are the best. Even better is their youth Academy program for training the next generation of performers. After a year in their program including three shows, my teen daughter has flourished. She has grown in her ability to audition and perform so that shes now prepared for main stage shows. The Academy staff are talented, caring, and highly motivated to teach students to be better performers (acting, singing, dancing, and developing their character). Well worth the commitment (time and money) for parents and students alike.

I saw Jekyll and Hyde at Centerpoint theater last night and could not believe I hadnt heard more about it. There were great performances, but literally every audience member around me sat with their mouth open and couldnt stop talking about the Jekyll (Jerrod Haddock) at intermission and after the show. I have never seen talent like that anywhere in Utah, even my days in NY I have only seen a couple performers this good. This theatre has great talent! I have heard "This is the Moment" hundreds of times, but this blew them out of the water. And the women! Cecily Bills and Holly Cushing were stunning. I most definitely will be back to this amazing theatre! Bravo!!

I love Centerpoint Theatre. My family had season tickets at Rogers Memorial Theater and were sad when they decided to build Centerpoint. The shows got even better from there! The theater is large and well kept. The talent here is amazing. They do a variety of different shows here and Ive only been disappointed with one (Babes in Toyland...please never do that again haha). From Annie, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Peter Pan, Jekell and Hyde, and Into the Woods, they have all been flawless.

This theater does a community service called Friend to Friend which offers people with special needs an opportunity for performing on a main stage with beautiful costumes and sets twice a year. This involves a lot of work and professional expertise, but it is truly a spiritual event and the best part of Centerpoint. Their regular shows are great but this is what sets it apart in our community. Looking forward to the next show in their lineup.

We took our family to see White Christmas. We loved everything but the girls and womens customs. They were not modest. We are trying to teach our young women to dress modestly. For next year could you follow BYU dress standard for their dancers: cover the shoulders, and knee length skirts. This would help set a better standard for young and older members of our community. Thank you, Mark and Donette Flandro

Our 5th Season! Every Valentines Day I buy season tickets to Centerpoint and have never been disappointed! We enjoy quality local talent and nationally rented costumes for a great night out! Whether in the balcony or on the floor, all the seats give a great view and their sound system is great too! Surprise! The stage floor does things youd never imagine could happen!

Great community theater! Some shows are better than others, but overall they do an excellent job, especially considering all the actors are volunteers. The theater is new and beautiful and the sets are always amazing. There are no bad seats and even the balcony has good views. Concessions are sold on site.

I saw the christmas carol T,Th,S cast and I was not impressed. When you are paying $17 a ticket you expect a quality performace, but this was more reminicant of a highschool play. There is not much good that I can say about the performace. It wasnt "horrible" but it was not worth going to see.

Great productions every time. Talented actors, crystal clear sound, affordable prices without sacrificing quality. Good view from every seat. Great and friendly staff. I have seen a dozen productions there and they have done wonderfully on every single one.

This is a fantastic community theatre, it is a very very nice venue with mostly quality productions! It is a little expensive, but I can understand why, because their productions are in depth and comprehensive, and high quality. Its a great place to go!

Although some of their shows are relatively sub-par, some of their shows are fantastic. Recently, their productions and actors have significantly improved. I would say Hale Center Theatre has better productions, but at a higher price tag.

The women took us men to "Steel Magnolias"...a total "chick flick. BUT...we actually enjoyed it! The acting was darn good for local talent, and there was enough humor to keep us guys interested. Would definitely recommend.

We love the performances here. Yes, some are better than others but that is because some appeal to us more than others do. Overall they are all very professional and enjoyable to see. So glad we have such a place close by.

The building is beautiful. Small but well proportioned. I visited for the first time to see Aida. What an amazing performance! I must admit I did not expect such mastery from a small town theater. I will be returning.
