We have always loved this place in the past. Wonderful shows, beautiful facility. We attend many shows there including school matinees which are of great quality and great for our communitys children. HOWEVER the school matinee events have become increasingly uncomfortable with militant-like, rude "volunteer" staff who do not seem to be child friendly, nor people-friendly, at all. It didnt used to be like this.Todays experience was awful with a demeaning, rude and overly harsh staff- Andrew Youngblood. My child and I both left on the verge of tears and probably wont go back. They are unable or unwilling to accommodate home schoolers and those with special needs. Not even willing to listen. Mr. Youngblood came across as aggressive, raised voice and confrontational. Just awful. He scared my daughter. At this point, I feel they should be reported for this discrimination and outrageous behavior.

We got tickets fot the show on April 7th, my husband ended up in the hospital and I called to see if we could exchanged them for another show, I was bluntly told "No" Well there goes $70 right down the toilet! I am so upset! I was told to give them away! Really?! To who?! My husband is in the hospital ! And I am at the hosptal! This is wrong! I will never buy tickets from them EVER AGAIN!

Yesterdays Prescott Pops concert was another in another fantastic season at the Yavapai hall. If you arent taking advantage of the great events at this hall, start now!
