I admit I learned a lot. Without the Studio I wouldnt have been to know how to dance, improve singing, get experience, etc. But. BUT! Studio 3 is so unnecessarily expensive. Like seriously for like the littlest things. So yeah if youre kid wants to be in the Studio you can do it for a little while if you want, but honestly just save up for braces thats more important. Another thing. They keep you practicing for a long long long long time. If youre in a play be prepared to practices on school nights and stay up all night finishing homework. I was part of the Showstoppers and when we were preparing for competition we practiced very very very late. Latest Ive been there was like midnight. Also, treatment. If we ever got a lunch break. It was basically 2 minutes. Im not joking. Ive almost passed out many many times. So yeah youre probably gonna be super skinny but in a unhealthy dangerous way. They need to treat performers like humans and let us eat or else it could effect the performance. So if youre a parent reading this youll lose a lot of money, sleep, and be hungry and moody every week. :). Okay, yeah I was mistreated badly, barely got to eat, did poorly in school because of the Studio, and basically missed out on cool stuff to do with friends at school. I did learn a lot though. Some teachers were actually really sweet and good to work with. And I did meet some other people that were fun to perform with. Which were the only pros. But this is a WARNING. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING IF YOU DON"T THINK YOU CAN HANDLE IT DON"T JOIN! Honestly...it was bad but it was good at the same time. JUST BE PREPARED! School is important okay, I had 18.5 absences because of the Studio. And in my district if you had 20 absences you go to court, imagine going to court and the reason why is because of this damn Studio. My life has improved ever since I quit the Studio but, I miss it time from time to time. So this is a warning. Like. If you cant afford it or handle it...DONT JOIN! I was a student there and yeah that was my point of view. :)

We love Studio 3. My daughter just started taking summer camps her and she loved all of them. I saw her grow so much in the three camps she has done so far. In fact we were not going to do any more camps for the summer just to give her a break and she begged to at least do the last one. She has loved it so much that we will definitely be signing her up for classes during the year. Compared to other studios and companies around, their fees are incredibly reasonable. The staff have always answered all of our questions quickly and take the time to talk to you. I have read a few other reviews where they mention late rehearsals but every theatre company is like this, especially when they audition for a play. The expectations for rehearsals/performances have been well documented on their site from what i have seen and are no different than other places. I love this place so much and am very impressed with them. **Update to original review*** My daughter is still doing classes her and loving every minute. She was in a play here and the latest they had rehearsals at the studio was til like 9:30 on certain nights. Rehearsals are not every night. Also you can give dates/times when you have to miss. As long as those dates/times are given to the director, you can be excused to leave. If you miss school because of classes, it is not the Studios fault. You can leave if needed. The directors just expect you to know the material when you come back. My daughter is actually doing Showstoppers this year after talking with other parents and being told that late rehearsals are not the norm for this group. Looking forward to her continued growth at the Studio.

My daughter loves this place! We originally went for a couple years during the summer camps and after my daughter begged to go for classes. It was a hard decision because she wanted to drop playing violin, which she was really good at, to learn to sing. Best decision ever! Two years later its been rewarding to see her grow in so many ways, not only technically. She has become confident, team-oriented, and super responsible. She recently wanted to attend weekly for unlimited classes (6+) classes which compared to other places was really affordably priced. So were trying it out on condition her grades stay good. I have to say her attitude is waaaay better than when she used to watch TV or play on the computer or video games all day.

Studio 3 is not your typical dance studio. In addition to dance classes there are acting classes, vocal classes and music lessons. The teachers are very kind and helpful. The studio produces a number of shows and includes as many kids as possible to give them a valuable and worth-while experience. The owner, staff and volunteers put a lot of effort into everything the studio does and it shows in the performances that have great costumes, interesting song choices and fun choreography. There is always room for improvement otherwise I would have given this place 5 stars.

Had a child in a production of the Wizard of Oz from this studio. Owner runs the production like it is the only thing on Earth, keeping young school children practicing 5 - 6 hours a night on school nights. Owner is also very rude and does not seem to know how to deal with other people. Also does things like (this actually happened) demand that a child turn in her script or $10 while backstage or else she will not be allowed to go on. Will never allow my child to go anywhere near this place again.

I was very impressed with the teachers at this studio. I feel that they gave my daughter individual attention and helped her in all styles of dance. My teen daughter has improved in not only jazz but has accomplished so much in her tumbling class. She started the tumbling program as a beginner and now has her aerial and has moved all the way up to advanced tumbling. We love Studio 3 and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves perfoming!!

HEEL CLIQUE Swing Dance Club LOVES Studio 3! As a brand new dance company, we needed a place to practice at a reasonable price. The owner truly loves all aspects of performing, and is very helpful and supportive of us as we get going. Our dancers are all over 18, so its not just kids who are reaching their dreams through Studio 3. We rehearse twice a week, and couldnt feel more at home than at this studio! Thank You Studio 3!

I went to a production of Studio 3s Grease at the Mesa Arts Theater with a group of 30 (mainly teens) and was so impressed with the professionalism and talent of the cast. Even the hard-to-please teens in our group loved it. They got autographs from the cast afterwards. Very nice, social group of actors. Thanks for a great experience!
