Have you been golfing before or want to try it out? If so you are going to want to go to Fox Hollow Golf Club in American Fork, Utah. I have been golfing for about four years now, and this is one of my favorite courses to play. It is very family friendly and they make you feel welcome and exited to be there to golf! This course keeps its greens nice and always cut for you and it always looks pretty. The course is very open and gives you a lot of space to hit the golf ball unlike other courses where there so many trees and you hit the ball and can’t find it. Here it’s not like that; you can find your ball if you happen to slice or hook it. You can’t beat the food here it is really good. So, before or after you golf you need to stop in at the snack bar and grab something to eat. Do you want to go hit golf balls at night? Well, here you can cause at their driving range; they have lights so you can go late at night and work on your hitting and improving your golf shot. For you first time golfers that want to play well this is the spot because they offer lessons here with great teachers and they are very flexible with your schedule. The best is they help you from step one and make you understand the ways of golf. I know because this is where I learned to play, and they helped me out tremendously. The golf carts here are always nice and they keep them very clean. I have been to some golf courses where their golf carts are dirty and not kept nice. You won’t find that here; they make sure they are spotless so you enjoy your round of golf for the day. The one bad thing that I have is that they have some new scooter golf carts and to use them instead of a golf cart is pretty expensive, but hopefully as the newness wears off the price will go down. Overall that’s the only bad thing I have for this course. I highly recommend coming here to play golf and especially for the first-time golfers. I am definitely going to keep coming here for sure to play golf and enjoy what they have to offer! I am going to rate them 4/5 stars because they are a pretty nice course to play and have a lot to offer!

As a current (2013) member of Fox Hollow I can say the course is very nice, however they do NOT value their members and are not allowing members to schedule tee times weekdays from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and Fridays until 11:00am. Obviously these are prime times and they feel their members are not entitled to them. This policy was just brought to the members attention with a letter placed under the glass at the registration desk. When we purchased our membership for this year there was no mention of this and it certainly has not been their policy in the past. There is no mention of these restrictions anywhere on the clubs website or my membership card. My intention is to talk to as many other members as possible and determine our best course of action.

Fox Hollow is a great golf course and is very challenging. After the renovations of the clubhouse and the sprinkling system were finished this because one of the nicer courses in Utah. It seems easy to get a tee time is you call ahead and get on their schedule. This is an older course and well established. The ground are nice and well taken care of. I feel that they could take this course to the next level if they add trees to each hole every year. It is very easy to hit your ball into the other fairway because the course is so narrow. By adding trees after 10-12 years of growth this course would feel like a hidden gem on every hole. They also need to start growing foliage in the fence on the west side of the course to hide to the road.

I have too many good shots and good experiences there to give it two stars but not my favorite course. The course has clusters of trees in the middle of the fairway on a couple of holes. It does have a couple of long holes, one par 3 is pretty brutal and couple of pretty long par 4s. Good mountain views but no real memorable holes except either 9/18 (theyve changed the layout) that used to run parallel to a horse track, now converted full time into a driving range. No complaints on staff.

The course is pretty nice. Mostly kept well but there are some areas that could be better maintained. The worst part about golfing here is they pack on so many people to play that you have to wait 5 - 10 minutes every freaking hit so that you dont hit the people in front of you. I understand that by getting more people on theyre making more money but at the expense of an enjoyable good experience.

Played behind two golf board players in their 30s...all they did was screw off on the boards like they were surfing. They followed each other rather than go to each ball to play. 2hr.50 minutes. for 9 holes parked inches from the greens. If used correctly and go to their own balls could improve pace of play. Need to be monitored by course marshal.

Killer course with extreme difficulty! Keep your drive in the fairway and you have a better chance of scoring. RICK ROBERTS, I hope that your health improves and continues to improve. You are an amazing leader and your team knows what customer service is all about. Great job!!!!!!

While there are a couple unique holes, the course overall is somewhat bland. Employees have been fine. The grass is not in great shape and the scenery is nothing special, but overall I am fine with the course. Still, I support public golf and am glad this course is around!

Fun course, trees in the right places to make it challenging. The upgrades are fantastic (versus the old tri-cities course) but theres still some of the grumpy old man attitude in the pro shop. Depends when you go but some of the old guys are just not friendly at all.

First time to this course. Pretty flat but hard any way. Very pretty, tree lined course with mountains looming high. People were friendly but many dont know you should repair your ball marks on the greens. Ill play it again, maybe in the fall when leaves are changing.

Fox Hollow is a fun walkable course. It has a couple of very narrow holes and couple with nice water hazards. Its always been in nice condition when Ive played here. I like #15 and #16 the most on this course.

Slowest Game ever played!!!! Fox Hallow scheduled 2 high school try outs before my tee time. It took us 5 1/2 hours to complete only 16 holes (skipped some due to being 15 min waits at each hole!!!!
