The course is nice but I didnt enjoy being rushed by the ranger on the front 9. Especially since we never saw the group behind us. To be fair, we were a half hole behind the group in front of us. Finished the front in 2:10 which seems reasonable to me. The ranger left us alone on the back. The big problem is the beverage cart. DO NOT use your credit card with the beverage cart! I didnt have any cash with me so I gave her my credit card. Two Gatorades and a bag of chips for a total of $7.50. The cart person took it upon herself to give herself a $20.00 tip on my $7.50 worth of food. I called and spoke to Austin the Food and Beverage Manager. He said he was too busy and needed to call me back. He didnt call back. The next day I spoke to Kate the Assistant Manager. She said Austin would be in later that day and that either Kate or Austin would call me back. Its three days later and Ive not heard back. So Ive disputed the entire charge with my credit card company and I am writing this review. A server should not decide on her own tip with someone elses money. That servers manager should return the phone call when the customer calls to complain about it. I wont be back.

We had our fist visit to Mesquite Grill tonight. It took our order 55 minutes to get ready. We ordered Mocho Nacho and Caribbean chicken; the qulity of food was VERY poor. Our waiteress was unfriendly and did not even check to see if we needed anything or liked our food. The manager was watching a baseball game with the other waiters and waitresses, once we talked to him and explained to him that it took 55 minutes to get our food, he responded by saying that our waitress is excellent and has been with them for one year. He did NOT apologize. We told him we will not come back again and this was his respond, "I am not sure what you want me to do"

Played here on 1-23-2015. Liked the fact that the course is out in the natural environment instead of surrounded by homes. I was worried about the post about the power lines. Power lines are present, but not in play unless you really go out of bounds. I was out of bounds more than I would have liked and they were never in play. Course surrounding is nice, and overall its a really quiet course. I would play here again. Also, great views from the course. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that the fairways are not as nice as some other courses out there like Legend Trail or Troon. But its well worth the money and worth a try.

My brother and I traveled from Toronto and lucked out by finding this gem today. From the moment we pulled up, the staff were very welcoming, the driving range and putting facilities were great, and the course was a nice challenge and really picturesque. Sure, you can see a few power lines but there are so many other beautiful views around the entire 18 that the course is certainly memorable. I spoke with a number of others who, given the option to play many other courses around Scottsdale, keep coming back here; having thoroughly enjoyed the experience today, I can certainly understand why.

This is a very nice course with nice views at a reasonable price. Sure, its not "stunning", but the price isnt "stunning" either. Very playable with visible power lines, but I have never had them impact my play. The restaurant would only get a 3-4 in my book, with mediocre food and mediocre service. I would give the bar a 4: good drinks and good service at reasonable prices. The views are good and there are quite a few people there on Friday eves.

This is a great first course to play if your coming from the cold weather. Im a 7 handicap and used a lot of different clubs. Great range and fairways allow you to hit the big stick plenty of room for tee ball. Greens had a lot of ball marks, but they didnt seem to affect the putts and were quick. Staff was great. Played on 2/14/15. I would play here again.

The clubhouse is totally gorgeous. Unfortunately, that beauty didnt transfer to the course in my opinion. High-voltage power lines are visible and IN-PLAY on nearly every hole. Someone in my foursome hit one of the lines with an approach shot. If youre in Scottsdale, I feel there are better options for the cost.

Outstanding service both at the Grill and the Pro shop, great food, amazing sunsets, challenging & fun course, well-maintained & welcoming practice facility, all at affordable prices. 5-star in my book in overall price/quality/value comparison to many golf clubs in N. Scottsdale.

The new club is beautiful, but my breakfast there this morning was just okay. I guess the view and peaceful atmosphere made up for the so, so meal. Night time is better for cocktails if you want to sit by a cozy fire and look at the city lights. Ill come back for that!

Wasnt in good shape and had very slow round. It was one of the more expensive places to golf so I was overall disappointed. Theres so many golf courses in this area and I cant see how places like this stay afloat. Great food at the clubhouse.

Great golf club, consists of a challenging yet fun golf course, a grill that serves great food with a beautiful view and a nice practice facility that includes a large range, 2 chipping areas and a putting green.

Living in Scottsdale for 6 years I played over 100 rounds on this track. It is the best kept secret in Scottsdale, the tourists play TPC, but the locals play here. Just a wonderful facility.
