On vacation for a week and saw a brochure at the condo for into the woods so me and my friend decided to take a drive and check this place out, well Im from NJ and have been looking around at different shops and trying to find a good shop as I am looking to get a lot of work done. When we arrived at the shop we were greeted by Joe who was actually in the middle of drawing/painting an awesome piece for the shops art gallery this weekend... Well Joe was really nice and helpful and was more than willing to answer any questions I had and stop from what he was doing to help me out. The prices are very reasonable,especially for the quality of work they all do. I asked Joe what the wait time was for an appointment as I was only here for 5 more days and would love to get work done by them. After telling me there was a couple week/month/year wait depending which artist I wanted, I explained that I was on here on vacation and what I wanted done (a quote across my chest in black writing) he told me that he could probably squeeze me in some time this week even saying today, I told him I was probably gonna do it towards the end of the well so I could still go in pools and water and not worry about the sun so he told me to come back either Friday or Saturday to get it done. It was a very nice experience and exactly the type of shop I have been looking for, I them told him all of the other work I was looking to have done and wouldnt mind flying down to have work done in the future. The shop is spotless and clean, and my personal favorite things about the shop were that each artist had a totally different style and could most likely accommodate anyone as they have such a wide array of talent. Another thing I loved was ss how explained they take their time in planning a tattoo out, I have a half sleeve on my arm now and the person that did This Didnt take a cast of my a and set up the exact size and detail of my arm. How explained that they take am exact cast of your body part and draw the tattoo out so it will fit 100% before they just draw something out and then hope it fits good and use just filler to cover the extra space. I will definitely be putting a deposit down towards getting a sleeve done by Joe so I can begin giving him ideas of exactly what I want and he can start drawing it out for me. I cant wait to get my tattoo later this week by Joe as I know it will be to quality and was amazed by all the work he showed me and how great his line work and detail is. Long story short: got my first tattoo here done by Bryan Sanchez, and I was very pleased! He was extremely patient with me, and created numerous concepts for me as to capture what I wanted! I will definitely be getting another piece from him. The facility was clean and the staff was professional and friendly. I was there for a seven hour session, and Bryan and the other artists made it a great experience! Tattoo is all healed now, and I get numerous complements on it every day, asking where it was done, and how it was even possible to get such an art style tattooed (watercolor). Advice for all those out there trying to force a certain tattoo on an artist: give him/her your ideas, and dont roll over on key things that are important to you; BUT, do listen to what he/she says and be willing to alter certain elements! I was nervous about the whole process, and had many points of contention with Bryan. But by the end, I could see why he had made all the suggestions. Anything different, and it might have come out strange. He is the artist after all!

This was my first tattoo, and Im very glad I got it with them. Charles was great on the phone, and when I got there he thoroughly explained the procedure. The environment was very light and chill, so even though I didnt know what to expect they made me feel very comfortable. The place was very clean and they always use new and packaged materials. Before starting the process, they presented me to Phil, my tattoo artist. He was funny, while maintining a professional front, and his personality definitely aleviated the mood. Even though I was very picky, Phil took his time with me and was in no rush to finish my tattoo. He stayed with me until I left the shop, and explained clearly what I needed to do for aftercare. I wouldnt have chosen a better artist. Excellent customer service, cleanliness and quality. Recommend this shop 100%. Will definitely go back to Phil for my next one! Glad to be part of the club!

I went to Into The Woods Tattoo and Art Gallery, just by walking in it was beautiful, it was clean, everybody was sweet, and willing to help. The artists are very polite and extremely professional. I got 2 tattoos by Tucker, one on my sternum, and the other under my right boob. Tucker has such a light hand when tattooing, he talks to you and makes to whole experience A1! Neither one of my tattoos hurt as bad as I was expecting and time went by fast. I took my neighbor back that same day for her consultation and now shes also getting a tattoo by Tucker! Ofcourse you cant forget such a warm, welcoming face like Charles lol. Hes always willing to help and work with any of his clients and for that reason alone, I recommend this tattoo shop to ANYONE looking to get amazing work, have a fantastic experience! Into The Woods is the place to go ! Love you guys ❤️

I have been getting tattooed by Jhon Rodriguez of Into the Woods Gallery for 10+ years and I would basically hand over a limb with my eyes closed. He is the definition of a true artist producing professional, high quality work every time. He is a master at designing unique artwork with interesting concepts and creating beautiful color designs. Not only from my personal experience, but from tattoos I have seen on other people over many years, I can say he truly does an amazing job at taking client’s ideas and making them master pieces. Although I tend to fall in love with his paintings and sketches most often! Everything he does is just jaw-dropping amazing. It’s an honor to have his artwork as part of my collection of tattoos and I can only hope to be lucky enough to continue to get work done by him.

This shop is incredible. Ive come here for my last three pieces and will continue coming back. Joe Casal does incredibly detailed and rich color work and will really work with you to make your idea come to life. Hes done two of mine: a Jerry-Uelsmann-inspired photorealistic tree and hands and a steer skull with desert flowers. Christa Z. LaNatra creates dynamic, painterly compositions, and she has a way of tattooing delicately while still achieving vibrant color saturation. Shes done a peacock cover up on my calf. They are the two artists whom I can attest for personally, but from what Ive seen, the shop has high standards for all their artists. You wont leave with a bad tattoo. I highly recommend Into the Woods for anyone looking for quality tattooing in a clean and professional environment.
