There is no such person as "jack stephens". This "person" is Kevin Blackmer, He wrote the previous review because his other post got deleted. So none of what he said is true. The game room games are BRAND NEW, at no time were any of them not working, they have only been in the building about 3 weeks. The situation in the pro shop, never happened. I would never not sell a person a ball, I would recommend. If a person doesnt like what I decide, so be it, the person is a grown adult, if they want to buy a ball for the color, Im happy to drill it for them. Also, on the Wednesday in question, I was not in the shop that day. Just more lies from a person that is angry and upset that the bowling center, and myself in the pro shop would not pay him "under the table". He wanted to work here, but is collecting full disability from the military. Im a small business, and have no desire to enter into that kind of agreement, as it could only end badly for me. What I do know is that I own two of the best pro shops in Texas, and the said confrontation has never happened at any of my shops in over 20 years of servicing customers in this industry. I just wanted to clear my name, and explain what is really going on. Kevin is bitter, and should be ashamed after all I did for him. Tomball Bowl has been remodeled, 32 new lanes and approaches. There are still improvements ongoing. It is still a work in progress. The bowl is clean, the food is above average, and not priced high at all, about even with the competition or less.

DO NOT GO TO THIS BOWLING CENTER: I went to this bowling alley despite the negative reviews listed here. That was a terrible mistake, at first, it seems aesthetically decent, despite its old and outdated look. However upon further inspection it seems more like a apocolyptic scene rather a place where you would take your children. The machines broke 3-4 times before we finished our game. We even were moved to a different lane where the service was still terrible, and broke another 2 times before we left. I was in the middle of bowling when the lights shut off and it listed our game as not payed for. Upon contacting one of the employees she said shed fix it, however we waited 15 minutes with no avail. The bathrooms are disgusting and there are few doors on the stalls. None of the arcade machines in the alley were operating and the employees were useless. Overall HORRIBLE experience and I wonder to this day how they are staying open. Noone should ever visit this shotty, peice of crap bowling center. Personally Id rather go to a decrepid motel infested with toothless hookers.

Tomball Bowling Center is a joke. Do not bowl here. They might have the cheapest prices in the NW area (barely) but you do not get anything near worth what you are paying for. The lanes are crooked, the machines barely work, and management wont do anything about it. They have holes in the walls, roaches running around the ball returns and a gnat infestation, not to mention most of the employees that work there are lazy and want to put their cigarette before assisting you. Dont even think about bowling league, you wont have time to take advantage of cheaper prices for league. Also, dont let your kids use the toy machines, they steal your money like crazy.

We went for the neon bowl from 9?-midnight unlimited bowling and when we started to bowl noticed none of the balls were returning to us so spoke to the staff about it and they told us the return belt was broke on both lanes we were bowling on and they would move us. However had the same problems with the other 2 lanes they had moved us to. Supposedly we were supposed to wait on the mechanic to fix it. After an hour of being there and only bowling one frame per person we left. Some proper maintenance could go along way at this bowling alley

The young lady cashier charged us bowling for 1 hour instead of 1 game. We had our three children ages 8, 6, & 2 so one game took an hour. The normal one game price for us should have been $23. Instead we were charged $37 (unlimited games per hour rate). When this was brought to their attention the young lady and her manager became argumentative. Poor management and extreme lack of customer service.

Lord only understands my husband and his fixation with a jukebox, speakers dont work in the bar area and my husband has wasted ungodly amounts of money thinking he would be able to listen to patsy cline Merle haggard and the oldies but goodies that he grew up with,to no avail, employees have made numerous complaints on our behalf ,still waiting for the repair after 3 months. So Im on restrictions

Too expensive! Cost breakdown on website isnt clear. How much for shoes? Is the cost of shoe rental per game? We went on a Wednesday and only people bowling, had a $10 coupon and it was still almost $60 for 3 people one of which had her own shoes. We played 3 games (about 40 minutes). I had my 3 year old son with me and I think they charged me for him. They didnt give a receipt either.

If I could give a big fat ZERO I would. Double charged me for a birthday party and bar tap. I sent the owner proof via bank transactions...she still denies it. So now Im out $300... bank says they cant resolve till the charges post but the money has already been taken out. Could take 5-6 business days... check your bank transactions people... To be honest I was looking for a manager on my way out tonight, I really wanted to tell someone what a great time we had yet again. Every employee that I have dealt with has been super polite and helpful, the lanes, the bar area, the food and bathroom areas are all very clean! We always have fun when we bowl at Tomball bowl, highly recommend!

The review from Jack Stevens is NOT Kevin Blackmer so publishing his private information was unnecessary and Im leaving it at that. Scott and Janet have done wonders with Tomball Bowl! Brand new lanes, great house shot, best paint job for cosmic bowling in the city, and if you havent tried the fried green beans, youre missing out!

The place use to be a s*** hole but ones Scott and his wife took over it hes done a hell of a job making it a better place!! Prices are adorable, nice arcade room for kids, pool tables, food really good "brisket sandwich" just saying lol. Needs more lanes for some nights when its crowded.

Much nicer than the bowling alleys I remember as a kid. This place is very kid friendly with optional bumpers on every lane plus lighter balls or ramps available if needed. There is also a great little arcade in case you have to wait for a lane (or to play in after you finish bowling).

We had a large family group and thought everything about the place was first class. The food was excellent and after reading another negative review I looked for problems and found none. Employees super courteous, bathrooms spotless. Would highly recommend Tomball Bowl.
