I recommended this place for a fun double date night with some friends. My husband and I have been three of four times in the last two months and have never had a bad experience. Well, Im upset to say that this was not the case last night. Between all four of us we dropped over $150 on the summer passes, drinks, and food. While we were patient with the long wait times to get our drinks and slow service BC we understood the servers/bartenders were busy. The reason why Im contacting you now is due to a situation that went down with one of your employees named Colton. He was a rude fellow, about 58, with a short haircut and glasses. My friend and I were setting at a high top table by the shuffle board tables, we were waiting for our husbands to bring another round of beer and holding the table. Out of nowhere Colton comes up and without an excuse me or apology, interrupts my friend and Is conversation and tells us we HAVE to get up off of our barstools because he is setting up for an event the next day and he needed the barstools. I looked around at the empty barstools all around us and didnt understand, I asked Colton if he was joking-I have never been told before that I had to hand over my chair, I have never been treated this way in my life as a paying customer. ESPECIALLY FOR AN EVENT THAT WASNT EVEN STARTING UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. He said he was not joking and to get off my chair and hand it over. I then asked, well are you not going to bring us a replacement barstools to set on? He said NO and acted like I was crazy for expecting decent customer service. So I then told him no, I will not get up and I will not hand it over and to give my friend her barstool back. He preceded to not give my friend back her barstool or bring her another seat. Turned his back on us rudely, and left without another response to my requests. I couldnt find a floor manager and didnt want to ruin the night further for our friends so we went to play laser tag. All four of us went inside the room to get our guns and were treated like crap by the teenage girls running the game. They wouldnt help us get our guns working, they wouldnt explain how the game works, just said well get out there what do you expect from us. Honestly, after that we were all so dismayed and upset from the lack of respect and customer service that we all just left. I will never recommend this place for a fun Friday night date spot again. We will be spending our hard earned money at Dave and Busters, Flying Tee, or the casino. Ive never experienced this caliber of disrespect and unprofessionalism in the entertainment industry in all of Tulsa. Thanks for making me eat my good words, about your establishment, for insulting us all as paying customers, and most of all, thank you Colton for ruining an evening of followship with good friends. I really regret that we didnt leave sooner and wasted so much money in a place that doesnt appreciate their repeat customers.

So, heres why Im giving this facility two stars. Normally I dont even write reviews in the first place, but this place has just been THAT disappointing to me. Last time I went was during the New Years Party, which was just a world of disappointment considering how busy it was and how much we paid to get in that night, and we did NOT get to do everything that was promised in the package because the facility was not prepared or equipped to handle the crowd that showed up. The manager gave us a $50 gift card to try and make up for it. So, tonight I decided to give them another chance. My first complaint comes from the moment we got to the front counter. I wanted to buy a package deal that cost a little more than the $50 on the gift card, so I gave the cashier the gift card along with a little cash. She then proceeded to take all the cash I handed her FIRST (which was a $20 bill), and THEN charged the gift card, essentially costing me an extra $12, and then proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do to reverse it. Secondly, there was an attraction game that my friend and I had been patiently waiting to ride all night, the Typhoon I think it was called. When we finally got the chance to, some group of kids had spilled soda all over it. So we told someone, and they then proceeded to just put a "wet floor" sign over it and then did nothing to clean it up. So thanks a lot, Main Event. Youve managed to screw up my experience with you twice in a row. Im done with you. To all who consider going here, dont. Their staff have proven to me that they are nothing but lazy and clueless as to what their jobs are. And for the record, its all WAY too overpriced. Ill be giving all my further business to Incredible Pizza instead. And I encourage anyone who reads this to do the same. THEY know how to run an arcade, unlike Main Event. Dont bother giving them your hard-earned money. Sincerely, A Very Disappointed Customer

This place really needs to work on attitude. My friends and I visited Main Even on the morning of May 26th as a way to end our Junior year. We were so excited to hang out, but the staff brought down our moods. The lady at the counter who gave us our wristbands wasnt welcoming whatsoever. Then, we decided to go do laser tag as our first thing, but the guy running that laser tag at 10:45 AM didnt help us whatsoever because my friends and I were really confused on how to put the gear on. It wasnt fair for the rest of us because we had no clue what to do and he comes into the arena and constantly shot at my friends and I. Thats not even it. At 11:10 AM my friends and I decided we wanted to do the ropes course. The employees who were running it took super long to help us get our harnesses on and gave us vague information to how you put it on and got upset when they had to help us out. One lady even had a really rude attitude with my friend as she told her to put her hair up to put up the harness. We know next time just to go to Incredible Pizza because we wouldve enjoyed not feeling like the employees hated us. There were some employees like the lady running the pizzeria and the lady waitressing who were really nice to us. Main Event was supposed to be a fun time, but instead my friends and I felt robbed of a good time.

The place was great. I took my wife there for her birthday as thats where she wanted to go. I almost avoided it because of the reviews online. The reviews couldnt be more wrong. I dont know if theyve changed management or staff but we had a great time. When we arrived for dinner we were greeted within 30 seconds of being there. We were seated immediately. We got out drinks first thing and placed our orders. The food was great, and it came out exceptionally fast. From the time we entered the building we were eating in about 15 minutes. The activies were not too expensive like some have stated. Yes the bowling is $29 an hour for a lane but you can have 5 people on one lane. $6 a person is not expensive. Even if it were just the two of us we could bowl 3-4 games in that same hour. Thats still only about $5 a game. That all being said they are doing fun passes for $17.95 a person that allow you to do all the activities aside from video games. The one negative through all this would be the video games were on the pricey side at an average of $1.50 a game. Altogether I spent about $85 for a night of entertainment, food & drink and I couldnt have been happier with the result.
