My friends and I thought to go bowling on friday night at Alley V. When we got there we saw that there were lanes still open and asked for one hour of bowling. It was more expensive than I thought it should be much like othe reviewers seem to be saying. Then there was the live music performance. It was stationed next to the lanes and being amplified around 85-90 db. I asked for the live music performance to be turned down twice. Once at the front when we entered and again after the waitress came by to serve us. The manager came to talk with me. I asked to go to a quieter room and we went into another room and closed the door. I tried to explain to him that it was too loud. The speakers were next to the audience while people were trying to bowl, and I noticed some children covering their ears. I would have been happy if the music was lowered by 10 decibles but he continued to iterate that they have no control of how loud the music is and could only ask the band to turn it down. I used an explative after he disregarded my statements and interupted me. After that he continued to interupt me durring our discussion. As I tried to speak he began getting louder and forcing the conversation to become an agrument. I tried to mention that he was getting loud and not listening to me. The manager threatened to call the cops and then left the room as I was still talking and asking for a refund. I walked out of the room with him and then went back to my friends confused and frustrated. Moments later a sheriff came and asked me to leave. I understood the officer was only doing what the manager had asked so I went outside with him and discussed the issue. The officer was very nice and understanding. He allowed me to wait in the parking lot untill my friends could come out as I was the driver that night. As the officer and I were talking, the sound guy from the band came outside and took a picture of me and told me that he was unhappy that I took a picture of him. I had not taken a picture of him. I used an application on my phone to detect the decibles in the room next to the lanes. He told me that I didnt know what I was talking about when I asked him what the decibles were at and how loud it should be in a building of that size. I tried to talk with him but he ranted as he walked back inside. The officer and I went to my car and I waited outside for my friends. When they came out my girlfriend told me the manager gave her $50. They said that other people inside had agreed that the music was too loud. I wish that the manager would have taken the time to hear me out all the way instead of walking out on me in the middle of a conversation. I do not recommend this place so long as the manager lacks the skills to handle setting up an enjoyable environment.

Please believe ALL of the negative reviews as they are true. They have a lot of employees that work here but there is very little customer service. When we walked into the door there was no pleasant introduction, some girl just walked up to us and rudely told us to check in. There were 4 employees standing behind the counter, only one made the effort to smile and greet us. I had called and checked their website and they did confirm open bowling was available, first come, first serve. When we arrived at about 6:00 pm Saturday Feb 18, 2017, there were only 4 lanes that people were bowling on. They told us it would be about an hour or hour and a half wait. We decided to go to the bar and have some drinks and eat something. The service in the bar is slow, the bartenders are the wait staff as well. Our waiter was the very friendly. The food was good for bowling alley food. There were empty bowling lanes the entire time we were waiting and we ended up waiting for 2 hours and 10 minutes to get a lane. The entire facility is poorly ran and very unorganized, I am a business owner and I predict they will be out of business in less than a year. Too many employees and not using the facility to full capacity. The bathrooms were filthy, no paper towels, no soap and 3 of the 5 stalls had no toilet paper. Now the bowling situation, when we finally got to our lane, there was a family bowling in the lane next to us and they had 12 people bowling on ONE lane. They had little children and while we were trying to bowl, the children(and adults) kept walking over in front of our lane and throwing things into our lane, it was very annoying and rude. I have never seen that many people on one lane but it must be common here because the next group of people that came in on the other lane had 8 adults bowling on one lane. I would say the only pleasant experience about our entire night was our friendly waiter in the bar and the nice waiter named Matt who served us drinks at our bowling lane, he did make sure we were taken care of while we were bowling. You definitely do not feel like a welcome guest when you are there, more of an inconvenience to the employees. I would never go back here even if they offered me free bowling. If you want a happy, pleasant bowling experience go to the MARK. I have never had a bad experience there, the employees are friendly and I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes, even when they are really busy. If you have a groupon to Ally V, you better use it NOW before they go out of business.

Our family used to love coming to The V. Best bowling alley in the Omaha area. Understanding that ownership has changed and the name is now Alley V, the four of us decided to spend our afternoon/evening at your establishment today. I have to say we were horribly disappointed. The lanes and equipment are still in great shape and far better than most local bowling alleys but that is where the positives about our experience today stops. With an estimated 1 hour wait for a lane we opted to spend some time in the arcade. At least 1/3 of the games were out of order and there wasnt an attendant to be found. The ones we were able to hunt down werent actually working and acted very annoyed to be asked to do so. The laser tag was fun but the smell of sewer was nauseating...might want to check for dried out p-traps. During our time bowling we discovered that the staffs disinterest in working was establishment wide. Zero wait staff working the lanes and one bartender who acted as if hed never stepped behind a bar before in his life. He wasnt capable of handling more than one customer at a time, took over 30 minutes to get to my husband who waited patiently to get a 1 beer, 1 soda and 1 pitcher of pop. He left our standard 20% tip even though this was the most pathetic excuse for a bartender weve seen in a long time. A second trip to the bar, again with two other customers ahead of him had the "bartender" saying "Ill be with you eventually". The service and business have declined so significantly that I have a hard time seeing us choosing to come back, not even sure it would be worth it to spend the remaining $30 on our play card. Such a disappointing experience.
