On their website they claim in big bold letters "Now SMOKE FREE!!!". What they mean is that they no longer let their customers smoke inside but their employees sit in a back room near the intake to the air-handlers and pollute the indoor air with their cigarettes.

My wife, who is very allergic to smoke, was forced to leave the building so she could breath. There was no-one visible smoking near the lanes and the smoke seemed to be coming from the air-vents. My sister-in-law, who is also bothered by smoke, asked about the source of the smoke and determined that it was the employees smoking. I am not normally one to complain to an establishment or to write an online review. I just dont come back. But, when I have paid $120 to have a family activity and a key member of the family cannot be there because the business failed to provide an advertised service I believe it is a big deal. I asked the gaggle of 20 something men behind the counter if I could speak to the manager. One of them stepped forward and said that would be him. After I explained the situation and asked what he could do to make my wife happy because she was sitting in the car with difficulty breathing, he answered "Nothing". He rattled off a further list of why smoke coming from the vents was my problem and why they would not change: - They didnt have to comply with "that law" until April - They couldnt smoke outside because they couldnt do there work from there - They had to smoke in that room (presumable the one with the air intake) because the camera is there so they could watch the counter - The business belongs to his family and they can run it how they want Like I said earlier, I am not one to complain or to write reviews, but dont want anyone else with smoke related breathing issues to be taken in by their advertising.

A friend and I came in Sunday night and asked for 2 games. Our first the balls kept not returning and we had to ask for them 3 separate times. On the last frame they didnt return again. They moved us to another lane. We didnt even finish the second frame before that lane completely broke. They moved us to a third lane, by this time we had no balls left and had bowl one complete frame in 20 minutes. We asked for our money back and they said they dont do refunds. The most they offered was a free game as if we wanted to come back. So we basically got jipped out of our money and the one game we did play was a terrible experience. I wouldnt suggest coming here. If you do, I would ask to test out the lanes and only pay for one game at a time

You would think this is a good place to bowl as any, but I have a foreign exchange student who was refused service even with his passport. Its understandable that the establishment doesnt want to get in any trouble, but a passport is pretty hard to fake. Owner didnt even finish his conversation with my friend before he walked off. I enjoy the front desk, but I was pretty disappointed by the incident. UPDATE: Without even seeing the update. The front desk made up for it and fixed everything.

On the surface, Sunset Bowling Lanes seems a likely candidate for an afternoon of enjoyment. However, upon further inspection, I found that this was not the case. To begin, their website is nothing short of misleading. The inside of the building looks nothing like what is displayed in the pictures online. And above all else, they refused to serve a refreshment to a veteran because of their utterly ridiculous no out of state I.d." policy. Dont waste your time here.

Yes, the place is a bit outdated but in good working order. The owner goes out of his way to accommodate everyone. I miss old school, family run places, but this exactly what you will find at sunset lanes. Old school, no frills bowling alley with cheap beer and good times. I will be back... As a matter of fact, I think i will go bowl a few games now.

Service is great however the place is super outdated and nothing seemed to be working when we went. Snack machine broke, balls werent coming back, pins were getting stuck and we kept having to call for help. Our nachos were also cold and flavorless :( Sadly we wont be returning.

Bowling Alley have the best burgers and fries in the world. This location is no different. Great cheeseburgers and fries, classic Bowling Alley ambience. The lanes and the lighting harken back until the "good old days" and are comfortable and efficient. Love this spot.

I love how its JUST a bowling place. I dont need these new places where you bowl, watch a movie, and do all these other things. Its very old fashion but I love going. Its affordable and Ive always had a fun time.

Incompetent employees. Shut our game off in the last two frames because they said not everyone paid but we did, and we bought beer and food. Very poor customer service. Guy working concessions was cool though.

Great place to bring the kids during the summer to bowl when they are bored, this place has been around for years but friendly people always helpful ... go early when there are less bowlers..

This is a typical, classic bowling alley. Cold beer, greay tasty food. The only issue Ive ever had was them blasting Christian channels/music while I am trying to get my party on.

They could use a little more time cleaning the place but its definitely a lot more enjoyable to bowl and hang out since the made it a non -smoking business.

Horrible staff and not handicap accessible. The blonde and brunette ignored us and just had a conversation looking at us and ignoring. Never come to here

Tried to leave it was 50 bucks for 4 people we didnt even put our shoes on yet and they wouldnt give us our money back. Managers were also very rude.

Not the newest or the cleanest bowling ally, but it is a fun place to hang out for a few hours with your friends and they have cheap beer on tap

Really fun place you play music cheap lanes and you can play table soccer but the drinks and snacks are so expensive its unbelievable

Decent prices on games and beer. But dont miss out on their bacon cheeseburger. One of my favorite burgers in town.

Went to a 5 yr olds birthday party here & the bowling was fun for everyone. But the music was way too loud.
