Me and my coworkers had a wonderful time at Houston Escape Room as we worked on our teambuilding skills! The facility is near Minute Park and Downtown Houston and if you go on the right day, traffic and parking isnt too bad at all! (We went on a Thursday after 6 p.m. which means most of the meters are free and there was no Astross game going on so there was plenty of parking.) I thought the website was very user friendly when booking, and when there were changes to my group, I was able to give them a call and the changes were made right away. The facility is also nice and clean and I absolutely love the décor and themes through out the place. The staff is nice and courteous and I also loved that our belongings were kept in locked away. I would recommend Houston Escape Room to anyone who is interested in unfolding a mystery and working together with their friends or family!

First off I would like to say I have never in 27 years have I felt like spending the time to write a review, but this place is worth it. If you like to creatively problem solve and feel like a detective you have to check out Escape the Room. This place brings out the inner kid in you. 4 friends and I went on a Saturday around 10 and it was awesome. We were partnered up with another group to make 10 participates and had such a blast with them. Escape the room is challenging yet possible. It is such a rush trying to complete the mission with in the time frame. You feel like you are trying to diffuse a bomb before the time runs out. I will definitely be back with everyone I know. PS if you are looking for a team building exercise it is fantastic.

This is my first yelp review. This place was such a rip off and so bad I have to make a review. For 30 dollars per person you will receive an awkward person sitting with you in a room playing on his phone. They will be giving you Clues in the room while you solve puzzles that lack creativity and excitement. The first episode should give us insight on how the rest of other room quality should pan out. However, we were stuck in one room with cheap props that could be bought from a garage sale and thrown in with no construction whatsoever. The puzzles seemed as if they googled how to build an escape room on YouTube. I have done escape rooms all over the nation and I havent been so disappointed.

This is such a fun concept. Although, it was fun, it wouldve been a blast had my bf and I not been mixed with a group of 6 that were together. My bf was really good at searching but the other females were pretty controlling with the finds. They even called out the bossiest female in the bunch. We did have fun for the most part, I just know it wouldve been much more fun had we been with our own bunch. Clues can be very challenging, to say the least. So it is definitely a good thing to have some real thinkers in the group! Or youll never leave the room! But you do have only an hour to solve, so be prepared to get those wheels turning!

Joe (Blue) is the real rockstar. He was so helpful with assisting me with getting my group booked and very accommodating. I had no idea he would actually be in our room with us which was PHENOMENAL. He was the perfect special agent. He did not interfere and was attentively observant as we progressed through our mission. His hints were relevant to what we were stumped on at the time versus some random hint. There was some technical difficulty and he was able to help us quickly. We completed the mission with 2 seconds to spare!! We cannot wait to go back with a larger group!

When movies and bowling become your typical go-to weekend activity, consider the escape room concepts. They are a blast. Its a great place to take friends, family or colleagues for team building. It is truly unique and really put your brain to work. I went with a group of friends and had an awesome time. The puzzles and clues are well thought out. It gets a bit hot in these rooms but I am sure it varies per location. Otherwise, a fantastic new adventure for you to tackle. Definitely grab some friends and check it out.

Visited today (my first time at their new location! my first ever visit was at their old location when they first opened 3 years ago) and had a really great time! The production value was great for our room! It was very well decorated/"decked out" and the clues and hints were challenging but didnt feel impossible! Would definitely recommend to groups of friends/families/corporate team building lovers, and Id love to come back and try another room!

I really liked my experience here! It was very different then doing the usual bowling or Top Golf. So if youre bored of always doing the same thing and want to be challenged definitely come to Houston Escape Room! I love how decorated and detailed the rooms are. The puzzles will make you use your brain but in a good way :) The staff is amazing and helpful. Im actually thinking of doing this for my upcoming bachelorette party weekend.

I love this place! Ive done every single room with myriad people, and every room has its own unique puzzles. Because they are so different, they are so FUN!!!! Every room has multiple things going on at the same time, so several people can work on different puzzles and feel like theyve contributed. This is the best puzzle room place in all of Houston (and believe me, Ive sampled several). I recommend HER for EVERYONE!

First time here on October 2016, did it with work friends and had a blast. The basic, there are 3 different rooms with more coming soon and being changed constantly. You need a group of 6-10, you will be locked in a room and have different task and clues to solve with a time limit of 1hr. exp. finding keys, solving riddles. Had a lot of fun will recommend to others and will definitely go back.

Went with my family (total of 10ppl) & we all enjoyed it so much. We are already talking about when we should return to try a different room. Agent Solarie was great & gave us great hints in helping us decipher the clues. We were able to find the wooden nickel & key to get out unfortunately it was right at the moment when our time ran out. But would definitely recommend for anyone to try it out.

I took a few family members to this team building experience and let me tell I can officially say it can also be applied to a "bring family together" type of experience. We enjoyed the thrilled of the mission from the moment it was explained to us to the moment we were solving each of the clues and puzzles. I truly recommend everyone to give it a try. Youll love it!!

This was so much fun! My team and I got out with 5 minutes to spare. The puzzles were challenging but not overtly so. I recommend forming a group of ten so you can have the room to yourself like I did -- that way, you dont have to collaborate with strangers. My friends and I are going to do this again, in another room with different puzzles, later this summer.
