Havent gone to the rodeo yet, but we went to Pawnee Bills Wild West Show while we were wandering the Stockyards for the first time. If you have kids that are into cowboys, its a good place to sit down and rest your feet for awhile, but for everyone else, its definitely not worth seeing. The cowboy singer sounds great, and the cowboys bullwhip tricks and fancy roping is interesting to watch, but its not really enough to hold everyones attention for 45 minutes (minus a 10 minute intermission). There is one trick rider, but shes only out to do about 5 laps around the stadium. We were hoping to see more. Also, the roping of the ten longhorns they bring out and drive into a corner is interesting, but again, not something interesting enough to continue for four minutes. And the traditional Buffalo Dance is pretty much just skimmed over (it lasts all of a minute)...if yoube ever seen a real traditional dance at a powwow, prepare to be tragically disappointed). I get that they are trying to re-create the original show, but they could easily update it to really captivate an audience. But I think the worst of it was in the beginning of the show, they entice you with the promise of a drawing for "a pair of free Justin boots"...but you have to BUY a program for the show after its already started for 3 bucks....and its for kids boots only! Kind of a backhanded trick. Overall, I was disappointed. If you know anything at all about cowboys, cattle herding, and roping....it wont impress you. Too Long; Didnt Read: Dont bother going to this tourist trap....unless you know absolutely nothing about cowboys and/or have kids that need to be entertained while you sit down for awhile. AND DONT FALL FOR THE "FREE JUSTIN BOOTS" TRICK, its only for kids boots!

The rodeo is an inexpensive but entertaining show for the whole family. There was both a calf and a sheep scramble when we were there (all of the children get to try to grab a piece of tape off of a small animal that is released into the arena floor. The kids enjoy chasing after them and trying to get the tape). A few cowboys did get hurt during the bucking Broncos and the bull-riding and that can be a bit unnerving, but they keep the action going through the two-hour+ long show (with two short intermissions).

Great family environment. Good rodeo for rural and urban folks alike. This rodeo basically runs every weekend of the year and is indoor, so rain or shine youll get to see some Texas rodeo. Lots of local competitors and also some from across the country. The seating is great, and you can find a pretty good seat even when its crowded. Ive been several times with various people and havent ever been disappointed.

Now, I have to admit Im from a long way out of town - England in fact - so I might not be qualified to judge the quality of the Rodeo. Texan friends tell me that better can be found out in the country. But as a tourist, this is hard to beat for a slice of Texas. Our favourites are the barrel racing and steer tying - bull riding is exciting, but its over so quickly! Oh, and theres a great atmosphere too.

Took my family there and we really loved it. Historie place, incredible scenery....really a great place to visit for travelers. The bulls were amazing to see up close, the restaurants were amazing, the whole experience was unforgettable. I look forward to taking my family there again. If you are not comfortable when its over 90 degrees, then dont plan a summertime visit.

Tolles Erlebnis! Für einen Europäer ist die ganze Show drumherum allerdings etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man sollte sich das Ganze aber auf jeden Fall mal anschauen.

Love this place, been here many many times, great entertainment for the family. The only thing is sometimes it seems like their A/C isnt working (weve been to the rodeo on more than one occasion where their unit doesnt seem to be on) and when you have that many people in one place in humid Texas summer nights...not good.

What a cool place! The building itself is very impressive. And the rodeo was great entertainment. We enjoyed the bronc riders - although it was really exciting when one of the riders was thrown over the railing, out of the arena, but thankfully he was unhurt - and the barrel racing was really fun to watch. Id go back!

That was simply..... affordable fun for the whole Family. There wasnt a lot of Bull Riders... but the roping was cool, the Barrel Races were exciting and the Venue is AWESOME. Besides.... The Stockyards at Ft. Worth..... I mean seriously. Its like Disneyland for Western Fans.

The show is absolutely fantastic and includes, wrangling, bull riding, and races. The atmosphere is really good and the crowd really gets into it when someone lasts the entire 8 seconds. The mini shows in between are really entertaining and I had a blast experiencing it all.

Great place with lots of shops with plenty of Texas stuff. Also lots of bars and restaurants, and the twice-a-day cattle ride is awesome. Touristy, but not nearly as bad as it could have been. Still feels authentic with lots of friendly people.

Great fun. Come here often, particularly with out of town friend and family. Always a great time. Bathrooms could use an update. Surrounding stockyards offer great food, drink and entertainment options before and after the rodeo.

Yee haw! What a fun time! As a Wisconsin Yankee I can tell you they know how to put on a good county show here. The whole family had a great time. And my wife won some prizes when she posted a selfie to their Facebook page.

Nice place for a family visit. More than the actual show, the stockyard environment is interesting. They could have a scoreboard to show the riders scores for a bit more engaging experience.

Everything was nice but I would work on two things. The bathroom situation (very dirty) and your PA system (Cant understand your announcements). I loved watching the show.
