I took my girlfriend to Sea Life on 10-27-15. We are both in our early 20s, but I thought an aquarium would be a fun date idea. When we walked up to the entrance, and I was a bit worried. There was literally no line, and a lot of the times that isnt a good sign. We had our photos taken and then we were off to explore on our own. This is where the "no line" was great. We had the freedom to walk up to any exhibit without crowds being in the way, and view for however long we pleased. I had been to an aquarium before as a young kid, but going at the age of 20 is much more fun, in my opinion. It is geared more toward a younger audience, and I understand that, but I enjoyed it all the same. The small screens next to each exhibit helping you identify each species was wonderful and helpful. I learned much more than I expected I would. The entire aquarium was clean and kept neat. The glass was clean and actually made for some great pictures (flash free, of course). Honestly, I wasnt expecting a whole lot for an aquarium inside of a mall, but I was very surprised and impressed. They have quite the variety of ocean life and do a great job projecting their care for the sea creatures. I plan on making another trip and hope to catch a behind the scenes tour or special event. We ended up staying for 2 hours, expecting to only be in for 30 minutes. We got so immersed that we missed our movie time. I blame that on the amazing ambience. I definitely plan on returning and would recommend to all age groups!

This is a great aquarium, probably the best in Dallas for children. (Cleaner, better exhibits than the Childrens aquarium and the Dallas World Aquarium is both horridly expensive and more a rainforest zoo than an actual aquarium). This is NOT as good as aquariums made for adults (Baltimore, New Orleans, or even Corpus Christie). However, if you have children under the age of 10, this is a great experience. Pros: Clean Good exhibits lots of different "views" (Tunnel, a couple of see-through floors, concave and convex ports). Decently wide selection of animals. Seems to have different educational opportunities and talks (I did not actually attend any in my visit) Knowledgeable staff Hands on section with starfish/crabs for the kids. Ages 2 and under are free Cons: A bit commercialized (pictures on green screen when you walk in, a gift shop you must walk out of to exit) Definitely for children and their parents (I would think anyone over 10 might start to be a little bored). But if you have young children, it is great! More expensive than I would prefer (but, given how clean it is, it is probably worth it). If you buy online you can save a few dollars per ticket.

Loved the whole experience. I was thinking it would be a short tour. It wasnt. Every time I thought we were coming to the end, the path was extended to a whole other room with more and different species. The sharks and rays were my favorite but also enjoyed the clownfish and other fish. Also, Id always wanted to see a seahorse and now I have. What a fascinating species. Didnt see a whole lot of crab and lobster but maybe I wasnt looking hard enough. My favorite part of the self-guided tour was the tunnel room, where you could see fish swim from one side, OVER YOUR HEAD to the other side. We went on a Tuesday around from about 1:30-2:30 so it wasnt crowded at all and we were able to take our time and enjoy everything. The rate for an adult ticket of $15 (purchased online) was very reasonable and I plan to go again, and maybe even AGAIN! I believe this was the spot of the mall where my beloved Gameworks used to be. Lets just say I dont miss GW so much anymore. :D

6-14-16 My Fiance & I decided to go to this Aquarium and we were not disappointed! It is amazing! We had so much fun. Everything was so well kept and the tanks were designed in extraordinary detail! It was nice to see the staff taking care of the place when we were walking around. The fish they had on display here were gorgeous and they all appeared to be well taken care of & living in perfect harmony together. The staff were very helpful and excited to tell us about their operations, specifically feedings & how they take care of the animals in vivid detail. I want to thank all the staff members, specifically Angela for her extensive knowledge, kindness & her willingness to help us answer any questions that we had. This is the best aquarium I have ever been to. I could stay there all day & I look forward to going back again soon. I hope the Sea Life Aquarium stays there for years to come.

We went here on a weekday in April right when they opened at 10 and thankfully, it was not busy at all! The people I went with are 20, 22 and 17 and we all had a BLAST! This aquarium is so big and has so many things to see. If you are not from the area like myself seeing this stuff in person is just awesome. The rooms are all unique and there is a lot to see. They have sharks, a huge 360 tunnel with glass floor and a huge tank full of sting rays which are so cute. Not to mention, there is a $5 OFF coupon online(just Google it!) which is awesome savings. You can come in and out as much as you want ALL DAY with your ticket purchase, which is even better, we went through three times. Good for people of ALL ages, it is just beautiful. They do shows at certain times too like feedings. The gift shop was very nice and reasonably priced.

I love the Sea LIfe Aquarium. My husband took me there on a date and we enjoyed it so much we asked our parents for an annual pass for Christmas. We took our one year old several times throughout the year. He loves it. I really enjoy the 360 tunnel with the sharks and fish but my favorite place is the manta ray tank. The music is just right and adds to the experience. I could sit there all day and just relax. The aquarium is very clean, well thought out, and thematic. They also have a great schedule so you go to feeding times and can listen to aquarists give different talks about the animals. The Octonauts came to visit and that was a big hit with my little one too. They just recently rennovated and had the behind the scenes area open to everyone for awhile and the new area is very nice. I recommend a visit to all my friends.

My family absolutely loved this place. The kids found it incredibly educational and fun. The lighting, photo op domes, the underwater tunnel, and the rain forest display were all great photo ops for my family. Definitely worth every penny of admission. I was so pleased I ended up buying all the photos we took at the beginning. Basically you walk through a number of exhibits that focus on different animals. Sea Life even gives you insightful information about their preservation activities and interactive demos to engage everyone. The petting zoo at the end was a nice touch and be sure to collect your stamps all the way through the Aquarium so the kids can get a prize at the end. I think this place is great for any kid 3+ years old.
