Moxley Manor is a smaller haunted house at a strip mall in Bedford. Itll take you 10-15 minutes to shuffle through, however, being a smaller venue, they min/max what they have instead of padding it out with boring stuff like endless pitch-black hallways the way larger haunted houses do (looking at you, Boneyard). For starters, parking is free. While the line is technically outside, youre under an awning that provides cover from rain. So, unless theres a tsunami pouring down, you should be fine on a rainy night. You should note that you have to go up-front to buy tickets at the tent first, and THEN go stand at the back of the line. Not sure why they dont just sell the tickets as you walk by in line. Seems odd. The line moves at a reasonable pace (we got there around 9 and got in around 9:45). The outside actors are providing some antics, but one or two of them are a bit creepy. Not "scary" creepy, just "coming up behind a girl, lightly taking some of her hair in his hand and smelling it" creepy. Youre not supposed to touch the actors, but theyre allowed to touch you? Theres some laughs watching people bolt out the exit to get away. Heading inside, you immediately start the adventure, unlike other haunted houses where you go in and wander a hallway just to ... end up at another staging area where a person makes you wait more (again, looking at you, Boneyard). The halls are narrow, the rooms are small, but that puts you right up next to the creepy actors. Half were quiet and staring, sneaking up on you and not saying anything just waiting for you to freak out when you finally notice them. I love those types, and they freak me out. The other half were of the "screaming girl" variety, just standing in the room yelling at you at the top of their lungs. I dont find that scary. Its annoying. For the price, I feel it was pretty good. In a way it felt like we were at a neighbors house that was putting on a haunted house, because everything was plywood and cramped-together. But, thats part of the appeal. However, the main thing I realized that night was that the haunted house you actually get to experience is infinitely better than the one you cant. Friends and I originally planned on going to Cutting Edge that night at 8pm. (Thinking that getting there early would make the line short). Driving by Cutting Edge we saw a line that literally snaked the entire area of a parking lot! Thats when you drive off thinking pay-to-park + paying a ridiculous price just to get punished with a 3 hour wait in line is the definition of stupidity. We were all set for a haunted house, but seeing Cutting Edges line crushed our spirit. Thats when a friend whipped out their smartphone and came across Moxley Manor. We gave it a shot, and it did not disappoint. We had fun, we got scared, and it ended our night on a high note. You wont see the one or two big "wow!" moments you get at the larger haunted houses that blow more money on laser shows or such, but you will get the scares and thrills you crave without the huge lines or price-gouging you hate.

I have been to a lot of haunted houses and have even participated in some. So when I say this, I know that a part of a haunted house is people jumping out and screaming to scare you. But for some reason the actors felt constantly screaming in your face was scary. There was only one spot where I got startled the rest of the time I was simply annoyed. They screamed in our faces, spit all over us. When we went to the pitch black maze, they repeated blinded us with a painfully bright light. I didnt get scared, I did get temporarily deafened, blinded and thoroughly grossed out by some guy spraying his spit all over my face. The only reason I give it 2 stars was that the decorations were decent.

My husband and I went on a double date with our friends, spent $130 for 4 fast pass tickets. The haunt was fun and scary! Everything was great until we came out to our vehicle. Someone broke into our vehicle stealing what they could. So I had to pay another $200 to replace my window. Our night out to Moxley ended up costing us over $300. With all the people out there, Moxleys is making a lot of money! Youre telling me they cant pay for security or an officer for 4 hrs to secure the parking lot? So for this, I give a 1 star. IF you go out to this place, walk or get an uber!

This haunt is excellent! The value is unbeatable. The haunt has changed and grown and improved every single year. This haunt should be a staple every year to see what has changed. They have a bright paved parking lot and a covered queue line so if its a rainy night dont fret! Its central to the metroplex so its pretty easy to get to from anywhere. Be sure to follow them on Facebook because they have coupons and a lot of off-season nights including Christmas time which is loads of fun!

This place is what haunted houses are about!! Exquisite acting, excruciatingly haunting detail and passion to keep true to the haunt experience. One can tell that everybody involved are working hard to give everyone a haunting experience. The owners do not spare anything on keeping the haunt moving forward and changing/creating new experiences every year. Its a haunt that keeps getting better and better and everyone should check it out.... if you dare!! Muwhahahahahahaha (evil laugh)

DO NOT GO HERE****Here is the scoop. Not very easy to find unless you live in the area. Yes its in a strip mall. You will wait for about 2 HOURS for a 8 MINUTE haunt. People that have already paid for their tickets will leave because of the long wait. I dont recommend Moxley Manor nor will I ever go back. $15 bucks to wait for 2 hours or $20 bucks to cut line(Recommend if you were still interested??) But I can sum it up in 2 words for ya "IT SUCKED"!!!!!

Hands down our favorite haunt! We go every chance we get and have never been disappointed! You should check them out for yourself! Dont let the strip mall appearance fool you! They packed in all the scares and all the staff is volunteer and pumped to do their job and for the best prices around! Also, the longest wait we have had out of our 6 visits was about 30 minutes! You just cant beat that! Ready for haunt season to be here again!

Mehhhhh i would say mediocre at best. If you go to haunted houses regularly then you wont be impressed by this one. Its not very scary and youre not in there long. In all fairness they are restricted by size due to their location in a shopping center. Its less expensive than the larger haunted houses ($15) it might be good for the kiddos but i wasnt impressed. The wait was about 45 minutes when we went.

Man i had such a great time! From start to finish every corner, every door it was something boy! Ive never had such an adrenaline pumping heart racing experience in a haunted house. I really had a scary thrill and its suspense the whole way through. Ive been more than once. Each time was different and the haunted house has grown getting longer and longer better and better i loved it!
