Kiest Park has not been "taken over" by Hispanic people with "raggedy cars". This is hateful language. Its a great park in a racially diverse area. I live less than a mile away, I happen to be white, and I feel like its as much my park as the little kids squealing on the swings, the teenagers shooting hoops, the grandmothers walking on the trail, and the young guys whose cars are way cooler than mine. Ive never noticed any especially loud music or dogs off leashes. Its mostly people like me, from the surrounding communities, getting some exercise, having picnics, or playing ball. Please, be respectful of other cultures! We are all in the same human family!

Its a great and VERY big park to jog play, have fun with kids, and do some exercise. it is not a good place FOR racist people who DONt know how to socialize with HUMANS being! All kind of people go there it is not a Hispanic only. Is sad the we say such hateful words to each-other. very sad. I am Hispanic and KNow we have bad people but also have Great good and honest hard workers Just like White do they also have bad people but good ones as well, Black ones have good people but also bad ones. No race is perfect why hate evryone for the guilt of few ones.?/

Kiest park is on of the more known parks in oak cliff. This park has a nice paved trail that i think is 3 miles long and some public exercise equipment next to the trail at some points. There are also courts and fields for a variety of sports. Its a good place to get your workout, but the only problem is have is that some times there are too any people there. If thats not a problem for you then youll like this park, but as a cyclist this can get make a joy ride have lots of stops.

There has been a lot of work making the park a good place to frequent, for both adults and children. There is an extensive and fairly new playground in the northern section (my kids loved it), and a large walking/bicycling track that goes around the perimeter of the park. There are also multiple baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, and a recreational facility. Additionally, the Hampton/Illinois public library is across the street from the parks northwestern corner.

" Childrens Paradise" My son loves to play a lot. He loves being with other kids. He has 2 sisters that is 19 & 22, so its like hes the only child. .. Its always someone there for him to play with. ... As for me its a great place to inhale, exhale. Release stress, unwind. Exercise and go walking....plus its about a block from my church "St . Elizabeth of Hungary" 2 THUMBS-UP!!!!!!

Recently paved walking trail is super nice. Wish they would have someone patrol the trail for dog owners who dont pick up pet poo. There needs to be pooper scooper signage and discard containers in English and Spanish so pet poop doesnt get left on the paved trail or in the grass. Its disgusting and its a city ordinance that Dallas P&R has not made appropriate accommodations for.

I like this park they have made so many new changes. I like there recreation center, one thing i dont like is mean person that don`t make u feel welcome. It make you turn around and just go back where u came from. Is only one person with a bad attitude and if you been there before you know who he is. The other staff there are very nice and helpful. Other then that it a nice park.

Best park in the city. Its big has trails running all the way around it. The south end had some heavily wooded areas and trails and the tennis courts and fields are great. There always seem to be some strays wandering around but never ran into a mean one and there is a hog problems near the tennis courts (my dog attacked) but I still like sitting and running the dogs there

Kiest Park is a historic part of town. The original owner of this land donated it to the city as a public park in honor of his wife. This park makes you forget youre in the middle of a big city. Soccer and baseball fields, gazebos, fields of wildflowers, water fountains, jogging trails, Pokestops, statues, and much more.

Great park, many activities to choose from; including two basketball courts, which is a rarity. It does have trees but not a prime spot for outdoor adventure. It does get crowed, being that its located in a dense residential area but the park accommodates the crowd very well with plenty of parking and space.

Loved it back in the day as a child and more as an adult. I grew up there hanging out with friends and family. I still live in the neighborhood and drive by daily. I have many fond memories being at Kiest Park. Thx Kiest Park.....for a lifetime of memories! Haters hate on!

Nice park to run/walk, exercise, cook-out and enjoy the weather. They also have playground for kids and basketball courts. The recreation center has been around for a long time, its not bad. The park hosts different events/activities here as well.

Love kiest park! I run here at least 5 days a week and you meet very nice people. They have improved the jogging trail and have planted many new trees for shade along the trail. I highly recommend it to those who enjoy taking walks or running.

Kiest park is beautiful, but hispanics have taken over, with their loud music, raggedy cars, pitbulls. Last time I was there, there were 13 and 15 year old kids hanging with the smaller kids. We left and will not return.

I love this park but saw three stray dogs within one hour in one day on April 11. All were large dogs. Animal control needs to do a better job. Its only a matter of time before these dogs become a pack and attack.

Its a super friendly environment, people come with their kids or work out and it has a great vibe overall. Just wish that people would pick up after themselves at the playground more often though.

Great park for family fun. Play, watch scoocer, softball, go for a hike, walk, run, ride your bike, or just come out and relax and chill with friends and family. Not like it used to be.

The park is big with plenty of parking. The trail is enjoyable. Plenty of places to sit and relax. It lacks recycling bins and permanent restrooms, at least in the area I frequent.
