I was so excited to take my 2 year old to play there today. We had a great time for the first few minutes, but then some adults without children sat in the Toddler play area to smoke. There was a park patrol person who did/said nothing about it (despite the fact that it was posted that adults without children shouldnt be in that part of the park). We do love parks & playgrounds. We do not appreciate the smell of cigarette smoke while playing.

Great modern urban park in the heart of Downtown Dallas and Main Street District. Dog park, playground and open green space, plus seating and a café. Relatively safe and patrolled by Dallas PD. On occasion, beggars and homeless types wander in, but on a random basis, not regularly. Neighborhood is being gentrified, so upscale apartments, condos and offices will ensure this park continues to look beautiful. Highly recommended.

What a neat place! We went with our 2 year old and he had a blast. Theres a water area where the kids can trounce through water and cool off. Its a huge hit! Theres a small playground area with a padded floor. Theres also a small gated dog area so he got to see a lot of different dogs come up. Lets not forget to name the cute little cafe right there as well.

Very nice place in the center of Downtown Dallas. It was meeting point for local tour of the area. While here I saw many people walking their dogs and just enjoying the day. The grass area was restricted because of some construction but it was still nice. You get to see many buildings and admire the views of the old city hall building.

Love the Movies in Park going on the first Thursdays of every month, May-October. Took my dog, chair and blanket and snacks and was super happy with the movie selection. I do wonder why the dog area didnt have green space. Instead, theres concrete and thats where they do their business. So be weary of puddles while in there!

Such a fun park with all of the events that they out on here. Just got done watching Frozen put on by the Alamo Draft House and the kiddos had a ball! Restaurants and restrooms are close by so its a great place to spend a nice afternoon. Or evening if youre willing to out up with a few bums here and there...

Its a very basic park with very little shade, it has a cafe, a dog park, and some chairs as well as a small fountain structure. The main area doesnt have any trees or chairs/benches but its a nice space to lay on the grass reading a book or to have a picnic if you dont mind the sun and the traffic all around

Such an important little park. Removing the parking garage gave Dallas a real urban park that was actually useful and is used constantly be all variety of people. Once the amazing Statler Hilton Hotel is refurbished, she can reign over it properly. Look up here. The architecture all around is amazing.

Beautiful scenery and great place to hang out with friends (especially the four-legged ones), grab a quick bite, or meditate. I just wish it didnt have a strong scent of dog urine. I have a dog and know that smell well but I hope theres a way it can either be eliminated or at the very least minimized.

Great park just off Main Street in downtown Dallas. A nice green lawn, small playground for kids and good sized dog park. Downtown Dallas Inc keeps it clean and safe for everyone to use and enjoy. The cafe is also a plus. Wonderful addition to downtown. We need more public spaces like this downtown.

Very safe park. There are a lot of dog walkers and people tend to clean up after the dog business. There are patrol people on bicycles who are fast responders. Down side is no public restroom facilities and proximity to homeless shelters.

Its difficult for me to gauge, because I usually go later in the evening, so Im not sure if its incredibly crowded during prime hours. I would think that it would be. It could be a bit cleaner, all things considered.

I love this parks design. I wish the dog run wasnt always littered with caca. The track around the green is nice for walks, and the water feature is excellent! Would like to try different foods from the food stand.

If there werent so many homeless people lingering and sleeping, this would be a much nicer park. Every open space in downtown is overrun with homeless beggars. The "safety" patrol does nothing to chase them away.

Very nice place. Great to walk your dog. Small playscape for kids. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. Rustys Tacos to get a taco, soda or beer. Outside speakers play music and small splash pad.

An awesome park for all sorts of activities. Lots of dog owners and fitness folks. Also people playing soccer, exercise and even flying drones. Also lots of benches and shade to relax.

Nice little park to take a break and grab some shade. There is a decent amount of shaded seating do the park makes for a great resting area of you need a break while taking in downtown.

Great place to just hang out and grab a bite from the food trucks. Parking is horrible especially if there is an event. You have to park far or pay a ridiculous amount to get a parking.

Wonderful and beautiful! Went to the County Fair show featuring Lucero and Old 97s. Great atmosphere, and perfect for a fresh concert experience. Not the same old dingy club feel.

Second on the free summer movies... Inception in the park was awesome. Beautiful park with tons of different stuff to do... could use more shade, but the trees are still young.

Nice well light area with water shooting out the ground prefect for the little ones. Clean area with plenty of trash cans and a good area to walk around with near by poke stops

Its a great park, lots of space. They have an off leash part for dogs. The only problem is they dont have the café up and running very often since the taco place shut down.

One of the nicest places for a concert. I lucked out with beautiful weather. Great views of high rises. Not a bad spot to watch. Tripping Daisy was amazing at HG8.

Clean park. One of only a few places for dog owners to walk their four legged companions. Not must grass downtown. This park also hosts local events some times.

This is a nice place to sit and people watch. The dogs who get to romp and play are adorable as well. The public events that are held here are nice, as well.

We have been going here for a few years. Great little park thats in the middle of the big city. There is stuff for kids and adults to enjoy!
