Ill be honest, the interior and actually bowling part of this alley are great. Top notch with no issues. I have a serious beef with the management however. The schedule is not posted *anywhere*. Its not posted on google, or on the City of Athens website. It isnt even in the front window if you drive by. Any schedule you find for this bowling alley online is wrong. It has different hours almost everyday which makes it a massive pain to schedule in advance, and the hours themselves are seemingly random. The only place that a semi-trustworthy schedule is posted behind the front counter. But even then you may show up a couple hours after the listed opening time only to find that the owner still hasnt shown up yet as people begin to wait outside (even employees). When you finally get in you dont get an apology for the wait or anything. I even called up to the alley one time to confirm their hours for the day and when I showed up (about 45 mins before the close time I was told) they told me they had closed 15 minutes ago (1 hour earlier than when I was told). This is a BUSINESS and we are your CUSTOMERS. ACT LIKE IT. You dont open a business when you feel like it. You open it when you SAY YOU WILL. And for the record, here is the schedule as posted behind their front desk: Su: 2 PM -- 8:30 PM M: 10 AM -- 9 PM T: 2 PM -- 8 PM W: 10 AM -- 3 PM Th: ???????? (They skipped thursday -- there is literally a giant blank. typical) F: 2 PM -- 10 PM Sa: 12 PM -- 11 PM See what I mean about random?

New Management has transformed this business, Best ever seen in Athens. Staff is very friendly, you feel like a family. Now they have new lanes & gaming equiptments for everyone from Kids to Adults. Also most important is its Pricing, its very affordable for whold family. Now we can take kids with no hesitance due to its No-Smoking environment, since they established a designated area for people who like to Smoke. I am proud to say now that we have a Real Entertainment/Fun center for whole Family and friends to Celebrate Birthday Party and have fun with family and friends in Athens, TX. It looks neat and clean from inside and outside. They have everything you want like Great High Scoring Bowling Alley, 18 holes minature Golf, Gaming Room, Pool Tables, Restaurent and expecting a New Bar. I cant wait to take my Family and Friends to have some Fun since I will say This is the Only Place to have Fun/Entertainment in City of Athens, TX. Go ATHENS BOWLING.

Had a great experience from the initial phone call to ask questions to our departure to go home! We celebrated our 5 year old daughters birthday with our family, taking her bowling for the first time. Bowling in Athens was an affordable family activity for all ages! Up to 10 could be in the party & we had 7 people playing. Our shoe rental & 3 pitchers of soda were included in our 1.5 hour bowling party for $60!! Our party ranged in age from 2 years old to 56 years old. The staff were pleasant & never minded answering questions. Thanks to Katie who answered all of our questions over the phone before we made the hour drive to get there. Thanks to Debbie for ensuring we had two lanes & were able to play, after I mistakenly underestimated our time of arrival. Thanks to the concession staff for their great attitudes & good customer service. We look forward to bowling again in Athens!

I love the ABC! Lanes are kept in a nice shape, and very fair pricing. If something goes wrong they will fix it. Pro Shop their is Friendly and they do an amazing job! I am new to bowling and i bu them all the times about tips and tricks, they never send me away and even gave me a few lessons on how to improve my hook. Monday nights is 1 dollar games, i will be there every Monday for sure

Not bad but not great either. Small arcade area with a couple of pool tables. A mini golf course but its a little run down. The lanes are good, machines are dated but everything seems to work. $1.50 games on Monday, $3.50 to $4 on other days.

It is a very nice alley. The last alleys I bowled were in Ohio and this is very nice. I like the owner. I bought a new ball and he spent a lot of time making sure the ball was good for me.

Showed up on spring break with kids and league games were in the way. Not good for the kids!!!! Post on website or Facebook if there are not going to have room. Explain that to kids!!!!
