If youre visiting from out of town, DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE. It is over priced for a far below average course. The staff was not helpful. I had to leave for a family emergency and the staff refused to give me a rain check or even let me talk to the course pro. I understand it is not raining, but how hard is it to understand I paid for golf and had no option but to leave. The course itself- half dead and crunchy grass. The tee boxes are filled with high weeds. The greens are terrible slow and extremely grainy. The cart paths are almost more bumpy than the fairway, and thats not saying much. There was no starter, so there were 5 and 6 sums keeping the course nice and slow. This course is not anywhere near worth the price they charge. Maybe a 15-25 dollar course that cost 45+

Excellent place to play! Challenging course where placement of your shot between water and sand come into play on almost all shots. Very nice layout and the staff is a A+. Had my 4 year old boy with me and Peter from the clubhouse made his day great by giving him his own golf ball. His ability to brighten up my sons day made me know I was in great hands. Thank you for the great golf .....when and if you drain the water Id like some of my Titleist Pro-V1s back!!! Thanks, Brett C, Bemidji MN

It is poorly taken care of the green and has weeds about knee high and the fairway is not as good as I imagined and I played a tournament there for the Martin Trojans last week #gotrojans if I had to choose between this course and any other in town I would recommend Oso beach which is my personal favorite

Freely admitted they were jacking up cart rental prices due to the Texas UIL High School Regional tournament on 11-12 April 2016. "Were taking advantage of the [large amount of] spectators." --Cashier when asked why the cart rental cost was more than usual Ill never play on this course.

The golf experience at Gabe Lozano Course was great! Greens were in excellent shape (didnt have to repair any other ball divots other than my own) and the fairways were in very good shape. For a Municipal Course its well worth Green+Cart Fees. Happy Golfing!

Pictures of place where you can unwind play your 18 holes or executive practice your driving at the driving range the fairways and green or so beautiful they are kept out very well young or old would enjoy playing and wonderful day of golf up there

A decent course that can be tough because it is a compact. When you pay for the 18, you get a cart. They have a place inside where you can buy food. I enjoy playing the executive 9 which is a quick 9 holes that are mainly par 3s

We took a 6 year vacation from golf and this is the best golf course we have played in the gulf coast area. Friendly staff and well maintained course. I will play here again.
