I have a 100 gallon bio tank with an under tank filter. I hired these guys a little over a year ago to start cleaning my tank. I have fancy goldfish and Kois which means the tank is dirtier than a cichlid tank. From the beginning they did not want to clean the undertank filter. 4 months into cleanings I began to inquire about cleaning the filter and the tech Danny assured me I did not want to "disturb the echo system" by cleaning the filter (but I have a bio tank and thats what the bio balls are for). At the 6 month mark and a lot of complaining, and after loosing a couple of fish they finally started cleaning the filter - well at least they cleaned it once. That was in December I believe. Jason, the owner told me they would clean the filter every 2 months, Danny said every three. At the five point month, May, I began complaining about them not cleaning the filter so they cleaned it. So here we are in August, no cleaning since May and only 1 time during the entire year was the carbon changed out. I kept getting sick fish, dropsy was the first. Danny was out on August 18 to clean the tank. On August 25 I noticed there was a lot of algae build up in the tank and the fish were lethargic. I called Aquarium Creations on August 26 and Jason had Danny come out the morning of the 27th. By the time he got here I had 2 dead fish and another that was clearly not going to make it. There was a lot of bit***** about that filter not being kept clean, and by this time all the fish were covered in white spots. Danny did not treat the tank only did a 50% water change out. Guess what. I lost another fish over night. I snapped a picture of the 3 remaining fish, went to the fish store who confirmed the fish had either ick or velvet. They sold me a one time strong treatment which I immediately put in the tank. Before the day was over I lost 2 more fish and the algae eater. I have one remaining fish and he will probably not make the night. My conversation with the fish store was an agreement that they should have cleaned that filter every month. Since by tomorrow I will probably have no fish, I guess I can cancel my service. These people were a problem from the very beginning and I am sorry I kept them around.

If there were more than 5 stars Id rate them that. The customer service with this company is amazing. We purchased our salt water tank about 3 years ago. Before deciding to purchase with them we priced out/talked to about 10 different places (anyone who would deliver in our area) but no one responded to us like Jason. After the purchase he even walked us through the maintenance but in the end we decided to have it serviced. Again we talked with several companies and ultimately went with Aquarium Creations to do our service. Danny is usually the one that cleans out tank. Our kids even love Mr. Danny. If you choose Aquarium Creations you will not be disappointed.

Jason and his team built my family a gorgeous 200+ gallon custom cylinder aquarium and we absolutely love it! Our entire family including the cat and dog spend time every day watching the fish. They all have names and each has their own unique personality which makes them so fun to watch. Dillon services the tank monthly and it always looks clean and beautiful. He is very knowledgeable and answers all of our questions and makes great suggestions if anything needs changed. We look forward to his visits. I highly recommend Aquarium Creations. Jason the owner of Aquarium Creations is a very knowledgeable and honest guy to deal with. I purchased my entire setup from them and have been dealing with them for several years now. I would recommend them to anybody thats looking to purchase a setup or just looking for maintenance on an existing tank, they always go out of their way to make sure everything is the way its supposed to be. Danny handles my maintenance on a weekly basis and does an outstanding job he is very personable, almost more like part of the family than the guy that does the maintenance on my tank.
