We have participated in many other programs, and this program is one that combines the right amount of science, discovery, play, and adventure. Eric, from day one welcomed my son into the group in such a way that he felt he always belonged. My son looked forward to Thursdays over any other day of the week. That is due in part to programming but also equally a reflection of the friendships he made there with his instructors and the other students. Please continue to do what yall do, and do BEST!! We are looking forward to summer visits to the center, and of course the fall courses!

After visiting Nature Discovery Center for the first time, I left feeling refreshed. There is a large variety of things you can do there: enroll in an educational class, take a walk in the beautiful park, go upstairs and explore the discovery room, talk to the animals inside the house and around the park, host a birthday party, and so much more! Whatever the reason may be, stop by Nature Discovery Center and see for yourself this amazing hidden gem in the Bellaire area!

My daughter had her sixth birthday party here and it was outstanding! We picked the "Scales and Tails" party program and Anne did a fun and interactive presentation with puppets, props, and live reptiles. My daughter and her friends loved it! If your child enjoys nature, Id highly recommend the Nature Discovery Center for their next birthday party.

We absolutely love this place. We have a 26 month old and a 4 month old. Our experience was great. They have a house which is used to display crafts, animal, etc, exhibits. Beautiful trails and playgrounds. Very age appropriate. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Such a heart warming place ;)

A fantastic retreat from Houstons urban sprawl. Great programs for kids and families. The Nature Center is fun, and their Pumpkin Patch event is really one of the best fall events around. If you want to hear birds, let your kids play with frogs, and take a breath, this is a great place for you.

Wow! We just moved to the area. This is an incredible resource for the community. My 3 year old absolutely loved it and I also enjoyed walking around the serene trails. Its not very large, but they make great use of the space. Im excited to try out some of their programming.

There is so much to do here. The play structure is great, awesome sandbox, great nature trails, and the indoor activities in the center help get out of the heat. There are also some small animals that the volunteers will bring out for touching and petting if you ask.

Went on a Friday afternoon and was met with a peaceful, quiet place to engage in nature. The staff and volunteer were extremely friendly. The rooms were clean and stocked with things to keep kids investigating for quite some time. Overall it was a great afternoon!

Beautiful, natural oasis in the heart of Houston. Perfect for all ages to enjoy the outdoors and gain an appreciation for nature. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The educational children programs that they offer are first class. Highly recommend!

The place is simply beautiful. It is a nice place for someone looking for a quite retreat from citys busy life. The chirping of the birds, squeaking of squirrels brings a delight to ears and the greenery to the eyes.

We went as part of a 5 y/os birthday party so our interaction was limited. On a rainy and windy day, the facilities were nice, the staff was pleasant and the short guided nature walk for the children was useful.

Its a perfect fit between a small park and a small staff but dont let the small size deceive you into thinking it doesnt have a lot to offer - its deep in native habitat and deep in naturalists knowledge.

Great! Lots to look at and touch; can learn while there too. And local parks right out back. It was worth the trip. Good area.
