Es espectacular darte cuenta, que aunque los años pasen, Selena Quintanilla, sera recordada en los corazones de todos los hispanos, como la mejor representante con humildad, personalidad propia, nada de fingir, muy merecido este homenaje en su estatua, ademas cuando retrocedes al pasado y te enteras la forma en que fue apagada la luz de tan prestigioso futuro. Hay que reconocer que la envidia, el rencor, si existen, y no soporta al ver como una persona sobresale de un ambiente de niñez, sencillez. Selena Quintanilla nos mostró que no hay barreras ni obstáculos, para triunfar. Solo me resta decir que la persona que apago esta estrella, Estará en un juicio, del cual no tendrá perdón, frente al juez de Reyes y Señor de Señores, y todos sabemos que el todo lo sabe, y todo lo ve, y hará justicia en su venida, y castigara a todo aquel que no haya cumplido su palabra. Que DIOS nos bendiga a todos, absolutamente todos.

Touching nothing spectacular though..im personally not into Statues or Graven images but I do Respect Miss Selena as Im Musical as well. She was Amazing her time here on Earth and Im sad for her and her family left behind. I Honor her Life and thats what its all about. Its cool too since its right on the ocean front. Its Gyarded by. The Man whim Played her Body Guard or mgr in. Her movie. Every Single night...for free...he guards her Memorial. For 12 years now. The Memorial got vandalized he asked the City if he could guard it. Hes very very Sweet to talk to. So loyal to Selena. Rest in Peace Baby Girl.

A beautiful tribute to the greatest musical artist in history. Im an Italian-American from New York State, but Ive been a HUGE Selena fan for going on 19 years, and I cant imagine my life without her music in it. She taught us to follow our dreams, and that dreams can come true. She showed us that you can be a success without becoming arrogant and uncaring. I love passing by this place on my walks down the bay. They added a radio that plays her music now. Its a very nice tourist attraction. I used to live very close by so I used to pass by alot. If youre visiting corpus then this is definitely something to check out. Take a walk down the Boulevard and enjoy the amazing and breath taking views of the ocean and city and stop by the Selena statue. Itll be worth your time.

I cant believe that people are complaining about the maintenance of the statue. Every time I go by it, it looks just fine. And there are other parts of the city that need attention. Like the streets that are riddled with potholes. She was an amazing artist who died before her time, but grow up. There are bigger issues than how her statue looks. Keeping it in tip top shape wont bring her back from the dead.

my family and I was there like 3 years ago and we went to see her museum snd i felt like she was there welcoming us i dont know i felt her close to us, i really miss her so much she was a great person and the difference with her os that she became famous because of her talent, unlike the artist these days that want to get famous buy revealing there parts.

i cant believe yolanda would do that to an amazing star i never got to meet her cuz i wasnt born yet until 1996 but i visit her grave every year and i leave flowers for her by her fence hoping she would come and take them but im sure from up above she is smiling away R.I.P. selena i love you so much

Its very cool seeing this statue by the gulf! Its a great place to take a pic and read the sign that they have for here and there is also a speaker that talks about her and the death.. I high recommend going especially if you have family that are fans of her!

I grew up in San Antonio and saw Selena in concert at La Villita just before she hit stardom. Its terrible how she was taken from herfamily and fans. I never knew there was a memorial for her and wanted to visit. It is simple but nice, right by the ocean.

Came here about a year ago visited the area, love the view where the Selena statue is at we came during January so there wasnt a lot of people we were able to explore the area without having a lot of people around. Cant wait to come back

Too much crowd. Statue itself should have been facing the beach or road. Its neither. People have to really go around the statue to get full glimpse and then in that narrow walkway there is mad rush for photos and selfies

A must visit place when you go to corpus cristi!! The selena memorial its now a trademark of the city. Beauttyfull sight of the boats there and the skycrappers of the city all in this meaningfull and nice place!

Eveytime my cousin and her husband come down from El Paso, we drive to corpus for some pokemon hunting and fun. The Selena Memorial is a nice stop to visit. Definitely pretty and the views are great.
